Bosch The Freak IDH182 Impact Driver Comparison VS The Competition

Bosch just announced the FREAK cordless 18V brushless impact driver with 1/2" square drive socket ready head. It's a two in one impact that's half impact driver and half impact wrench. Although the name is new, it's a rebranding of the IDH182 that was released over 4 years ago in 2014. As part of the name change, Bosch bundles the Freak impactor with their CORE18V 6.3 ah batteries.
In this video I test and compare the Bosch Freak (IDH182) a 4 year old model against today's impact drivers from the competition which include Ridigd, Milwaukee and even Ryobi in the mix.
Since the Bosch Freak can be used as a 1/2" impact wrench, I compared it to a real 1/2" compact impact wrench from the competition to see how it fares.

To be fair, the first test of the 5/16" lag, it took you much longer to start the lag for the Bosch...hardly a valid comparison...

@@ToolCraze I watched the entire video. The fact still remains that it was a poor comparison. What should have been done is that each fastener was started to the same depth, if a valid comparison was desired. Usually limiting variables is ideal.
