About why the Metatron seems to know how to blend in with the humans, it could be because according to Abrahamic Lore, he was a human before he became an angel named Enoch.
According to Neil in the good omens universe he was always an angel. I think he’s ignoring most lore to have more creative freedom, I do see the metatron being a threat since the beginning
To me, the fact that Crowley was actually witness to Aziraphale’s trial & execution in the first season says it all. Before S2 got released, I was HUGELY adamant to the idea that Crowley’s feelings toward this scene HAD to be addressed because it was simply TOO IMPORTANT for his character and relationship with Aziraphale. When I got to see the pain and anger in Crowley’s eyes as he blamed Gabriel for trying to end his best friend’s life, I was SCREAMING. Aziraphale wasn’t there to see how cruel Gabriel (and heaven in general) had been toward him. Crowley must have always assumed that Aziraphale had to be respected in heaven for him to be so stuck up on principle. Crowley never truly understood why Aziraphale was so passionate about his cause, knowing that he had been thrown away JUST for questioning a few things. I think that’s when Crowley understood just how resilient and pure his friend had been this whole time because it’s was now clear to see that heaven did not cared, even in the slightest about Aziraphale never ending faith and loyalty. And if you see this the other way around, Aziraphale consequently never knew how heaven was about to discard him so easily on the very end, despite everything. It was yet another nail on the coffin for Crowley, a new reason to despise the higher ups. It means that Aziraphale’s belief (and religious trauma, it’s important to mention) were still strong about heaven, he never realised how disposible he had been for them up until now. It makes it even more painful to know that Crowley saw his friend, now admitted love interest, choosing heaven over him. As he walked into the elevator, Aziraphale was now leaving for people that Crowley KNOWS to be as*h*les and dangerous. Crowley simply took it all in, as he always did.

Thank you for the truly kind way you dealt with the final 15 minutes of S2. First time I've been able to watch an analysis of that scene without breaking down in tears. Beautifully said ❤ Now I just hope that they will work out their communication issues mid season 3 (at least to a degree) and not by the end of the show in the last few minutes of the last episode. That would be heartbreaking 😭
@@themoviescoopchick Yes, I agree, especially since Neil Gaiman is going to take the series back to the story that he and Terry Pratchett originally envisioned. Hopefully that story has space for A&C's emotional issues to be resolved. If we're lucky, the issues will be resolved throughout the episodes to come. Still hoping for a happy ending for their sake, and for ours.
There's a video on here somewhere where the person has turned the music down in the last scene, and it definitely sounds like he says "I can't". I think that Michael Sheen and David T are playing the roles as in love because that's the direction, and Neil Gaiman has made it clear on his own tumblr when asked. Michael does a great job of the heart eyes, and I agree how anyone could have ever thought they were just friends is beyond me also. Neil Gaiman has also said the kiss is meant to be communication, not a romantic or sexual kiss, but I do think what the producer said makes sense, you can see it on Aziraphale's face and in his reaction. I think he leaves at the end because he's frightened and trying to protect Crowley, and everyone once he hears the plans.. Also I love your final words and totally agree about how brilliant they all are. And what a mensch Michael Sheen is, to see him tell fans on twitter they've made a lovely fan edit. So sweet. I love that he says it's all great, he's not sniffy about it at all. Hoping the 3rd series might be before the end of 2025. We just need that confirmation, but Neil is writing and the actors have been approached..
i find that neil sometimes makes conflicting statements. on one hand he says the kiss isn’t romantic, but then he also says that season 2 was written to be a love story.
Not to burst everyone's bubble.. I had the thought that the intended small miracle Aziraphale and Crowley wanted to perform, was so strong and potent because they both held the hands of Gabriel (Jim), he lost his memory, but he is not completely powerless...I think. So maybe the whole thing is so strong because of the combination?! Side question: the trial members wanted to strip him of his powers....but were they able to go through with it, though? Gabriel distracted them before with the whole cleaning out his desk thing and his clothing..... And he wiped his mind himself first before they could do it as well!
Minute 44:43 If in the worst case Amazon prime studios doesn't want to renew a third season. Then take the cast and writers and take it to a other media production company! There are pretty sure alot of companies that would sell their own grandparents to be able to air a good omens season 3!
I can't say how strongly I disagree with the idea that Aziraphale's face after the kiss means "Do that again right now." There's just way too many other conflicting emotions on that face (thanks to Michael Sheen's talent) to be anywhere close to that simple.
What is? Why does the channel of this great woman who made a fantastic, refined and well-thought-out video have so few subscribers? People, we need more videos like this!
I don’t know if it’s just me personally thinking this or maybe Aziraphale could as well but it’s also the fact that Zira might find himself getting into trouble somehow either that be in heaven or during the second coming and knowing that Crowley cannot resist saving him, and as well that they both work so well with each other in how they ‘helped’ stop Armageddon. Aziraphale probably had hopes that even if Crowley didn’t come with him that they would be bound to meet again and hopefully actually communicate for once. I’m so happy Season 3 has been renewed and although it’s going to be extremely hard I will try to be patient. Thank you for this beautiful analysis ❤️❤️
My idea on a possible "twist" for season 3--Metatron turns out to be a good guy who wanted desperately to get Az to Heaven to help AVERT the Second Coming! He did manipulate Az and C, but he knew C would be in danger in heaven. That's why he looked so relieved in the elevator when Az got on.
I think the show contradicts on your statement. If its true then the metatron wouldn’t have cared if Gabriel didn’t agree with the second coming. Yet instead he was quick to punish Gabriel, he wanted to demote him and erase his memories. At the end of season 2 the metatron sounds that he hates Crowley, he sounds disgusted that Crowley asked too many questions. And I can see him being behind Crowley’s fall and that his memory was erased. And there is season 1 were he point blank tells Aziraphale heaven wanted the war against hell. He didn’t do anything to avert it. I have a feeling the metatron would represent people who claim to carry out god’s wishes but, they’re actually carrying out their own agenda
Love this! I think the book of life is either not real.. or your twist is right, because otherwise, if Aziraphale and Crowley are such a threat he needs to separate them, why not just erase them from the book. Definitely something going on there.
@@florofern6470 like in the Philip Pullman series? IDK if he would want to copy that? She could be maybe retired tho? And leaving it to the others. Kinda think they might want to avoid having God and Jesus as major characters, it would get a bit messy.
I LOVE UR COMMENTARY 😭 i was full on giggling watching this, u get the fandom haha - at the part with the lady naming her children after crowley and aziraphale i had to pause and call my partner bc the montage was so perfect ;o;
omg, loved this! the analyses were amazing, great commentary, and the quality was really good! adding this to my season 2 coping playlist and subbing :D
I can’t believe this is your first video. I was already looking for more to keep watching, I could gladly do an entire day of this. I congratulate you for the great quality of commentary, editing and for dedicating so much love to it. I hope you keep making more videos like this, it’s been like a walk down memory lane. Never did I hit that subscribe button so fast.
Omg, this means so much to me😭 thank you for leaving such a beautiful comment❤️ right now I am working on a new video (but it will be for a different show)
I'm pretty sure Az would understand the Metatron's offer (be the next archangel) as the kind of Offer One Does Not Refuse. Az turning down that offer wasn't on the table at all. Given how heaven is presented throughout the book and series, I'm sure Az knew it was leave with the Metatron or (unspeakable consequences). The Metatron threw in the "reinstate Crowley" possibility knowing full well that Crowley would never agree to that, but it would make *the Metatron* LOOK generous, plus i think he loves effing with "little people" by creating drama, he just gives that vibe in spades.
Good point! Someone also compared his energy in general to Tigger in Winnie the Poo lol. What is clear is that when Neil wrote the 1941 church scene where Crowley saves Aziraphale by literally, for him, walking on hot coals Neil immediately thought, only David Tennant could pull that off...
I also think Good omens is a great series and Il loved your rewiv of the series and I yest love Michael Sheen and David Tennent the are perfect for the rolles. Michael and David where made for the parts there is no one else that can do it better. I bet that there are fans that will have many more seson of good omens even my self,it will be very sad when the story yest ends with seson 3 but we dont now anything it is a fantastisc story with fantastic carecters. In the scene of episode 6 seson 2 when Crowly shows his fillings for Azaraphel and kisses him I think that Azaraphel is about to tell Crowly that he loves him it looks like it in ny eyes but change it to I fogive you because of the person he is and all the things and fellings that he is felling and confuse him after finding out that Crowly love him too and dont know what to . I am looking forward to seson 3 when it comes out to see what will happen with Azaraphel and Crowlys story and the whole series and if this will be the last one but I am looking forward to it but we cant be shore what will happen yet but lets hope on seson 3.
Thank you for your comment! I think what you said is really valid. Michael was outstanding at portraying so many emotions at the same time after that kiss. And now we simply wait for season 3 to be confirmed to find out how this all ends😅
Why would I regret anything about this wonderfully romantic couple? I remember the Bildad the Shuhite and the ox rib scene. Aziraphale was disgusted at first and then devoured the ribs. Hopefully, the kiss will hit the same way.❤ And even if it doesn't, it won't matter. I'll take their love anyway it comes. Aziraphale among his books and Crowley yelling at weeds in the garden at the end.
so much people talk about how the premise of season 2 and that Aziraphale wanted to protect Gabriel was total nonsense, but hear me out, no matter how naive he can be, he is not a fool, and in addition to his great curiosity that was always quite fueled by his Friend, I genuinely believe that he saw Crowley reflected in Jim in a certain way and wanted to protect him in a way he couldn't do with the devil and everything he suffered. On the other hand, I think that there is no such "coffee theory", it was a threat from Metatron: if you do not choose coffee (his offer metaphorically), you choose death, something so obvious and simple that perhaps due to the trauma and shock at the end you will not We saw it with so many questions that it generated.
I've read/watched a fair few fandom analyses now, and I keep getting surprised by the things that are taken for granted. Like... why do so many people refer to Crowley's "trauma" and insist that he didn't mean to fall? Has nobody heard of unreliable narrators? Representatives of hell are shown lying, again and again, in the show, and while Crowley may be a nice demon, he's still a demon. In fact, in season 2, "I'm a demon, I lied" is repeatedly stated to remind us not to take Crowley's words as gospel, and I believe Gaiman is also on record saying that Crowley's description of his fall is not objective...
I have also had this thought. I do think Crowley shows signs of trauma - the way he treats the plants, and the things he says to the goats. He gave two versions of his fall - that he sauntered vaguely downwards, and that he did a free fall into boiling sulfur. Which is true? Maybe a little of both - that Crowley made the choice, but didn't ultimately like his new 'side'. Furfur also describes Crowley participating in the war (though Crowley seems not to remember), which seems more intentional and more reason for a cause for an angel to fall, than just asking questions or being critical of God. But I think the reason why so many people have this interpretation in the fandom (that Crowley has trauma) is that so many people have experience trauma from organized religion, and Heaven in GO sort of represents that.
i honestly think that the show will be out earlier because the reason why season 2 took so long is because of covid. there have been posts recently of Michael sheen with aziraphales hair, so i think the show will be out earlier than that (like in 2025 or smth like that
Brace yourselves, this is going to be a hell (ha!) of a comment. I myself don’t really understand my point by now, so bare with me. I really like your use of the phrasing „religious Trauma“ regarding Aziraphale. I‘m not really familiar with the complete meaning of the term, but I know it mostly from fanfictions (not good omens ones, I‘ts only been two weeks since I‘ve watched the show for the first time, so I haven’t read that many fanfics yet), in which one person might also be taught homophobia through religion. And Aziraphales behaviour is really similar to that for me, because he was taught that heaven is good and hell is evil (obviously), which can directly translate to a homophobic look at the world (very black and white) I think. It also could connect with the scene-that-shall-not-be-named, because of the whole temptation thing. You’ve said it too, the look of the situation can be similar to Aziraphales reaction when he ate for the first time. To him, that moment surely has brought him many good things, as seen in his love for food, but it maybe has a bittersweetness about it, because in a way, Crowley has tempted him to take the first bite (At least if I remember the scene correctly). So that uncertainty of temptation by Crowley, a Romeo and Juliet type of „enemy/lover“ for Aziraphale (I mean the way he was brought up conflicting with his positive feelings towards Crowley), could maybe be another reason why he reacted the way he did. My conclusion is basically a classic form of overthinking mixed with, as said, the whole religious trauma/capuletmontague thingy that the two have going on. I‘m sorry if that didn’t make much sense, English isn’t my first language and I’m honestly just making this up as I go.
Hi, i'm on eighteen twenty seven of your video and I find it very interesting and very well put together. And it make me think about a thing that I think we all Take for granted. Crowley was Sent to hell, love is a weakness there. So you're not gonna show That to anybody. Even if it's somebody you trust with your life showing love is far too great risk. You just wouldn't do it.
My theory is that why Crowly and Aziraphale ended up being what they are isn't so much determined by going with or against god. It really brings me back to the scene where the supreme angels are listing reasons why they won't send Gabriel to hell. It makes me think they can't actually do it. Because honestly, former angels have been punished for less. No I think God just needed there to be opposing sides. Maybe he didn't want his son to be lonely in hell. Whatever the reason is, I'm sure God decides which angel falls because they all play roles in his Plan. It also implies that hell isn't inherently evil and heaven isn't inherently good.
I belive that if crowly shared even just a little bit about his past in heaven(prob mostly about his Feelings after the fall) aziraphale would have seen heaven different, and in contrest to that would have maybe not gone to heaven, becouse yes, he dose know that heaven is not all good but he convinces himself that they have to be good, becouse if they aren't what would all the time he served haven mean? Nothing. I also belive that he is afraid of being regected by heaven, that he thinks that if that happens that he woulde be alone, sure crowly would still be there but sonner or later he would also leave. Or maybe I'm just delulu but who knows
Is there an AI voice being used for this? I ask because the some of the pronunciations sound like what a computer would assume the names sound like. Also the speaker pronounced 'series' as 'serious' mumtiple times. 'pulsif-i-er' instead of 'pulsifer', Job not being pronounced etc...
For a video titled 'A deep dive' i'm more than a little disappointed that in the first few lines there is already falsehoods presented as truth. The story of how the Good Omens book came about has been told several times. the two met when neil got to interview terry, after neil had written the first 5000 words of what would later become Good Omens he sent it around to all his writer friends, including terry then forgot about it as he was working on other projects, a year later terry called him up, asked him if he was doing anything with it and offered to buy the idea off him or write it with him, neil of course jumped at the chance of working with an author he greatly admired. A simple google search would tell you this. the only place i've heard this version of how they met is from James Somerton which given recent events isnt great.
What falsehoods are you referring to, exactly? I went back to the beginning after watching the entire video and rewatched the first 5 minutes and didn't hear anything that contradicted with your statement. If you're going to accuse someone of lying or being inaccurate, at least be more specific.
The question is where is God in all this, because Metatron is none other than today's press spokesman. Did he act on his own or with the consent of his boss? Aziraphale is programmed by brainwashing by authoritarian power, others angels who perceived this authoritarianism were thrown into hell. Because those who ask questions are always inconvenient for the authorities. Hell was full of rebellious angels, including: Hastur, Furfur. Although and Azirafal, after his experiences with Gabriel, also notices cracks. Largely influenced surely by Crowley. He taught him to think analytically. I think the ending and the angel's motivations are a bit different. Apart from doing Good. Aziraphale has always been disregarded by the authorities, even beaten-up by the highest angels, treated like a naive, hardwired schoolboy. And it's not so much about Goodness in the last scene in lift, but about healing his own trauma. He has become the highest, most powerful of angels . It is an aphrodisiac of the highest quality, but also a way to relieve stress. He could have turned back when he learned about the Second Armageddon, but he didn't. He felt the power. Notice how relieved Metaron was when Aziraphale entered the elevator. For me, Crowley is 100% a Bayronic hero. He is a great individualist, a rebel, a hero who suffers because of his past, is always in conflict with the world, trusts no one, is marked by suffering and, of course, an extremely mysterious person filled with sarcasm. And yet he can appreciate friendship with a human or, in this case, an angel:) While watching the series, I even thought that Pratchett and Gaiman actually modeled themselves on Byron when creating Crowley. And this clearly shows how much cognitive dissonance separates Aziraphale and Crowley. Which is the reason for the dramatic ending of part six. The problem is that they are strong only as a duo. Naive Aziraphale won't do anything on his own, because Crowley was the mastermind of all the actions. And of course Azirafal will encounter a great opposition in heaven. It can be interesting:)
And make sure it gets their facts straight. 1. Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman met in a Chinese restaurant, where Neil interviewed Terry. 2. Good omens was Neil's idea, Terry liked it so much he offered to buy the idea from Neil or to collab. Neil opted for the latter cause according to his own words "Because I was not stupid, and because that was the nearest I was ever going to get to Michaelangelo phoning to ask if I wanted to paint a ceiling with him." I barely made it to minute 2 and had to stop the video to check the comments. Not sure if this was the AI's mistake or the person behind it, nonetheless, I'm not watching this bs.
@@panchulanzer1199 I can't believe I watched the entire thing and never noticed it was AI? the inaccuracies annoyed me a little, yes, but I assumed it was just poor research and an accent or sth
@@panchulanzer1199 Too bad. You missed one of the more perceptive analyses I've seen of GO. Even if it was an AI voice, and I'm not convinced that it is, that doesn't make the whole video invalid.

I honestly didn't even consider this possibility. This does sound like that could be a possibility. Thank you for sharing this insight❤
@@themoviescoopchick you're welcome. 😊
The archangel Michael is literally my favorite character in the show, highly recommend anyone to read Doon Mackichan’s autobiography
It was so nice that Gabriel and Beezelbub left knowing Aziraphale and Crowley could be erased from the Book of Life.
Minute 39:12. When Crowley leaves , I think Aziraphale is also mouthing "no" to stop Crowley from going out of the bookshop.
I Can’t believe Good Omens season 3 is finally Green lit. I’m so excited 😁
Perfect analysis and those 2 are definitely as you said a match made in heaven.
GUESS WHAT JUST GOT CONFIRMEDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. There are a lot of conflicting emotions on his face in that scene. But this the quote of what Rob Wilkins said.
There is the story (and who knows if it's true) that they had to do several takes of the kiss because Aziraphale kept kissing Crowley back.
I also really agree with your theory!! I think that if the coffee theory is true, it’ll be disappointing
What is? Why does the channel of this great woman who made a fantastic, refined and well-thought-out video have so few subscribers? People, we need more videos like this!
Thank you so much for the support❤️
Thank you for watching it❤️
This is your first video but the quality and content is already top notch! Excited to see more of your stuff!
Thank you so much!
I subbed cause wtf is this video quality
My idea on a possible "twist" for season 3--Metatron turns out to be a good guy who wanted desperately to get Az to Heaven to help AVERT the Second Coming! He did manipulate Az and C, but he knew C would be in danger in heaven. That's why he looked so relieved in the elevator when Az got on.
That would definitely be an interesting plot twist🤔
My best guess for the twist is that God is dead or missing, but that is an interesting theory and sounds plausible
@@florofern6470 like in the Philip Pullman series? IDK if he would want to copy that?
She could be maybe retired tho? And leaving it to the others.
Kinda think they might want to avoid having God and Jesus as major characters, it would get a bit messy.
Your commentary is awesome lol, it's literally the exact things i've been saying in my head at those moments
Glad to know that I'm not alone in this 😄 and thank you❤️
Lovely video! We better get a season 3 indeed!
Thank you! ❤ and yes we better🥲
I LOVE UR COMMENTARY 😭 i was full on giggling watching this, u get the fandom haha - at the part with the lady naming her children after crowley and aziraphale i had to pause and call my partner bc the montage was so perfect ;o;
🙈 I'm so glad you liked it! The fandom is so awesome❤️ I truly haven't seen anything like this before.
omg, loved this! the analyses were amazing, great commentary, and the quality was really good! adding this to my season 2 coping playlist and subbing :D
Thank you so much🙈 this means a lot❤️
I can’t believe this is your first video. I was already looking for more to keep watching, I could gladly do an entire day of this. I congratulate you for the great quality of commentary, editing and for dedicating so much love to it. I hope you keep making more videos like this, it’s been like a walk down memory lane. Never did I hit that subscribe button so fast.
Omg, this means so much to me😭 thank you for leaving such a beautiful comment❤️ right now I am working on a new video (but it will be for a different show)
We are getting a season 3!!!
Season 3 has been green lit
Great essay! Really liked your analysis of Aziraphale!
Thank you ❤️ Glad you liked it!
This is your first video? This is extremely well made
Yes, it is. Thank you so much🥰 and Happy New Year!
This! Totally agree with you❤️
I see what you did there with that thumbnail. It turned out pretty good actually
There are many times when I think Tennant is channeling his inner Bill Nighy (physically). Think about it.
Good point! Someone also compared his energy in general to Tigger in Winnie the Poo lol. What is clear is that when Neil wrote the 1941 church scene where Crowley saves Aziraphale by literally, for him, walking on hot coals Neil immediately thought, only David Tennant could pull that off...
I'm gonna die waiting for s3 I CANT DO 2-3 MORE YEARSOF PAIN (read rewatching S2 E6) ;-;
Thanks alot for your answer I was glad that you liked it.
Am I the only one who spent an hour looking for someone to have the same opinion that Aziriphale leaving Crowley was in character?
This was so good😁❤
Thank you❤️❤️❤️
Muy de acuerdo contigo, es genial ❤
so much people talk about how the premise of season 2 and that Aziraphale wanted to protect Gabriel was total nonsense, but hear me out, no matter how naive he can be, he is not a fool, and in addition to his great curiosity that was always quite fueled by his Friend, I genuinely believe that he saw Crowley reflected in Jim in a certain way and wanted to protect him in a way he couldn't do with the devil and everything he suffered.
I remember hearing a theory about the reason for his fall being losing faith in God
sorry if the sentence doesn't make sense, it's almost 3am lol
i honestly think that the show will be out earlier because the reason why season 2 took so long is because of covid. there have been posts recently of Michael sheen with aziraphales hair, so i think the show will be out earlier than that (like in 2025 or smth like that
i really hope it will!❤
At the BAFTA show, no Azi hairdo in sight... I'm afraid we'll have some more while to go.
David will be doing Macbeth October to December, and Michael is also working. They aren't available until January 2025.
David Tennant gets out of a chair like nobody's business. With one leg he stands gracefully and goes forward without so much as a wabble.
Sigh
i broke my toe watching this, great video
(real story lmaaoo, I'm good now, I couldn't have had a better video playing while I broke my toe)
I'm so sorry you broke your toe🥺 but thank you for sharing your thoughts about the video🥰 I'm glad that you liked it
Brace yourselves, this is going to be a hell (ha!) of a comment.
WE GOT SEASON THREE EVERYONE!!!
Yes we did!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Here we go on an agonizing 2-3 year wait
34:15 to 37:16 is so aaaargh. it physically hurts me
I belive that if crowly shared even just a little bit about his past in heaven(prob mostly about his Feelings after the fall) aziraphale would have seen heaven different, and in contrest to that would have maybe not gone to heaven, becouse yes, he dose know that heaven is not all good but he convinces himself that they have to be good, becouse if they aren't what would all the time he served haven mean? Nothing. I also belive that he is afraid of being regected by heaven, that he thinks that if that happens that he woulde be alone, sure crowly would still be there but sonner or later he would also leave. Or maybe I'm just delulu but who knows
You keep calling Crowley "Curly" 😂
“Job” is pronounced “Jobe”. (Long o). 18:10
Thank you❤️ I was struggling with that one😅
Is there an AI voice being used for this? I ask because the some of the pronunciations sound like what a computer would assume the names sound like. Also the speaker pronounced 'series' as 'serious' mumtiple times. 'pulsif-i-er' instead of 'pulsifer', Job not being pronounced etc...
I am not AI 😅 just not a native speaker, so I mispronounce some words sometimes.
I am highly interested in the ability for an angel and demon to create powerful miracles
15:50 Name Job in the Bible is pronounced Jobe not Jahb. Small detail in an otherwise fabulous video!
Thank you for letting me know!❤️ I was a little confused
The Metatron? Gaiman watching too much Supernatural. SPN's Metatron did nothing but screw everyone royally up!
Someone called his kid really Aziraphale!? 😮
Yeah. And I think it was actually before the series

@lyubavaf.s.2246 from what I heard, that was after the release of season 1.
FYI, pronounced "Joab" with long o.

@@themoviescoopchick Enjoyed the video.
Newton Pulsifer..not Pulsifier…🙄
Is it me or is there something off about the audio in this?
Job is pronounced with a long o, like in lobe.
@@tyf.5111 did you bother to read the whole comment? because this reply suggests you didnt...
If we've established everyone here has seen/read the story, why are you recapping 5 min in? Also, its Pulsifer, not Pulsifier.
If you are going to use an AI voice, at least make sure it can pronounce correctly.
And make sure it gets their facts straight.
1. Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman met in a Chinese restaurant, where Neil interviewed Terry.
2. Good omens was Neil's idea, Terry liked it so much he offered to buy the idea from Neil or to collab. Neil opted for the latter cause according to his own words "Because I was not stupid, and because that was the nearest I was ever going to get to Michaelangelo phoning to ask if I wanted to paint a ceiling with him."
I barely made it to minute 2 and had to stop the video to check the comments. Not sure if this was the AI's mistake or the person behind it, nonetheless, I'm not watching this bs.
@@panchulanzer1199 I can't believe I watched the entire thing and never noticed it was AI? the inaccuracies annoyed me a little, yes, but I assumed it was just poor research and an accent or sth
was it all ai voice ?
I hadn't noticed either until I saw the comment I first replied to. I avoid AI videos like the plague.
@@panchulanzer1199 Too bad. You missed one of the more perceptive analyses I've seen of GO. Even if it was an AI voice, and I'm not convinced that it is, that doesn't make the whole video invalid.
I just reread the book for the first time in many years, and I didn't feel the implied romance at all compared to the show.
