Haha your mum was opposite to my mum; she was very shocked at my first year room. She has standards so wasn’t used to it. My dad on the other hand was checking everything out and saw the positives: ‘oh the desk is huge and looks brand new, oh a sink to yourself, no queueing for the bathroom to brush your teeth, that wardrobe is bigger than yours at home - don’t go getting ideas about us getting you a bigger wardrobe!’. He’s lived in worse places, including his car, so knows it could be worse! His only negative comment was my bed which looked very small and the mattress having seen some action (read: a lot of action and years of people). Glad I brought a mattress protector!
I can’t be the only one who’s binge watching those vlogs and now I want to go to college and live on a campus in dorms but in Germany that’s not a thing and I‘m so sad :( but it looks amazing good luck !!

You can always go to college abroad if you’re willing to pay the money because college in Germany is free, or you can apply to a scholarship.
