This is a superb, well-conducted interview, with wise questions and wise answers. My already-considerable respect for Ian Paice has grown.

Ian Paice could probably write the best book on Deep Purple. He's very together and eloquent. Always a pleasure to hear.

Congrats to the lady conducting the interview... some quite well thought out and worthwhile questions. I'm sure Mr Paice appreciated it too.

The only one who I found as intelligent in interviews about music was lemmy. Another very humble rock star like Ian.

    lp-sized art,
    then cd-sized art,
    now 200 inch projector,
so the limitation is in the resolution,
youtube should go for bluray and 3d,
    full power, deep purple style.

i almost can´t understand that woman speakin´and askin´for ... is that italian or from spain ... soooo strong accent , like portuguese

@mileswarm: she's evidently of Italian origin,I don't know where U R from but the subtitles are in italian..Anyway her spoken english is correct,so who cares about her accent? @silentzero7: a good interview, this is what matters, doesn't it? :-P

Ian makes a great observation here about the decline in the popularity of jazz music... A great question is... What's the main difference between Jazz and Rock'n'roll? With Jazz you can play 30,000 different chords to 3 people.... with Rock'n'roll you can play 3 chords to 30,000 different people!

Non solo è un grande musicista ... per comprendere la stranissima lingua dell´intervistatrice bisogna essere veramente intelligenti ... personalmente
    non riuscirei ...

Shame Ian Paice doesn't talk more. He really has some good things to say. And the woman doing the interview is quite hot I might add !

I was playing with my band which was more or less jazz punk and this guy was standing by someone else's drums and says: "Why do you play all that Jazz shit?" I looked at him and said: "because I can." Turned out he was the drummer from the bigger club across the street who were headlining. that band was Metalica. Guy was a total douche.

she obviously doesn't do much housework with those spear fishing claws. Good interviewer though. Well thought out questions.

    The question is:
What young boys and girls will have the pleasure to see and listen when Deep Purple won't play their rock anymore?
    Apart reality's shitty music?
