Hi, Regina (Matt's CoS) here! 👋
This is the EXPERT version (Version 3) of how to use Asana as an agreement tracker: going all-out by using Asana as BOTH your agreements tracker, AND your meeting agendas. 😱
Whether you're a small startup or a 2000+ person company, you'll need a way to track your Action Items across your team. Luckily, there's an easy solution: Asana. 😏
In this series, we will go through three levels of difficulty of using Asana, and detail the pros and cons of each one. Be sure to watch the other Asana setups and choose the right one for you! 🙌

Pros of the Expert Version ✅
-The biggest value-add is definitely that you now have a centralized place for Meeting agendas AND agreements tracker.
-Because you can add to your agreements tracker in the meeting projects, your tasks now have context on WHO assigned it, under WHAT context, WHEN it was assigned, and in WHICH meeting it was decided.
-Automations continue to make adding tasks from meetings to action trackers ridiculously easy!
-You can use Asana to track everything down to your OKRs, sprints, and retrospectives.
Cons of the Expert Version ❌
-This version definitely takes the most time to set up and create buy-in. You need every person who runs meetings to learn how to use this Method. This is true whether you use the Mochary Method in Asana or any other doc: it takes time. Asana can be quite complex!
-The solution Sonder has found for this problem is that they've hired one person for each department to teach, run, and maintain meeting and agreements trackers. That person is the go-to person (almost like a Chief of Staff for the department) in making sure everything is operationally smooth. They're responsible for enforcing adherence to the method, too. It takes about three uses for teammates to fully buy into this process.
