I love the smaller star! Could you tell me how long the lengths of reed should be for the smaller star made with 1/4" reed? The tutorials are great! Thank you!
These Georgia Snowflakes are just gorgeous! Thank you for showing us how to make them! Your style of teaching is very easy to follow. Happy holidays to you and yours!
Excellent tutorial!!! I’m so excited to try this this weekend with some of my scraps. I have someone in my family I couldn’t think what to give for a Christmas happy, and this will be the perfect thing 😊 THANKS 🙏
GREAT TUTORIAL. It's so much easier to make the large star. There has to be a trick that I'm missing when making the smaller star. The1/4 inch reed doesn't want to bend as easily. Has anyone else had the same issue and do you have a solution ?
I sell a kit in my Etsy shop that includes the clamps. You can also purchase them at a hardware store. www.etsy.com/listing/836043317/basket-weaving-tool-kit-basket-weaving?click_key=92b3119d715ac89b34c628e1d9a07958047089d5%3A836043317&click_sum=40a26416&ref=shop_home_active_8&crt=1
No, I didn't. But if you're having trouble keeping things in place, you can certainly use a little glue to stabilize the basket weave. Let me know how they turn out.

How did they turn out?

😂😂😂Yep, my stuff gets a workout!
I like it very much and i will try
I hope you do, it's a fun project.
How do you keep the center from going wonky?
Keep it damp as you're weaving and if it still causes you problems, I do sometimes use a little glue to hold the corners in place.
@ thank you so much; your tutorials are great.
Love this❤
Thank you! Let me know if you make one - or a dozen!

What size is the “base” of the smaller star? Looks like 1.5” square?
Yeah, anywhere from 1.5 to 2 inches.
Hello, did you glue the initial basketweave base to keep them in place?
No, I didn't. But if you're having trouble keeping things in place, you can certainly use a little glue to stabilize the basket weave. Let me know how they turn out.
