Do you not realize how big of a security concern it is to have access to have the IPs to ALL Minecraft servers? And after discovering it, instead of reporting it to the developers, they decided to abuse it. Mojang is completely justified here.

If this ended in a court case, Im not sure mojang would be not liable here. Say if Duper Trooper took them to court for breaking gambling laws. Until you realize that P2W exists in real life, because in real life, money is the one thing that can enable people to do whatever they can or want. Mojang probably makes millions every day, not to mention that it's owned by Microsoft. That means whatever lawsuit that results might truly be a hopeless errand.
Most p2w servers are skyblock or faction type servers, most have a season style reset system that makes everyone start from scratch efter a few weeks of month depending on server and game mode. Dupes may interupt those servers a little bit but thanks to reboots and new seasons nothing is permanent.

As a millennial that grew up before the internet was inundated with legal gambling marketed towards children, I always thought the whole "hooking kids on gambling in online games" was a tiny bit of an exaggeration. Obviously lootboxes etc. are a dirty business practice, but I never thought it would be THAT terrible. Hearing how Duper Trooper had a gambling addiction at TWELVE YEARS OLD has changed my perspective on that. That's absolutely horrifying.
Duper Trooper is the Robin Hood of Minecraft p2w servers. He steals (dupes) from the rich and gives to the poor. Maybe the way he goes about it isn't the best way, but he still champions a cause he is willing to fight for because it is injustice he is combatting.
I know I have little to nothing to provide with this statement, but as someone with a channel name of anti cheat, I'm usually against stuff that involves cheats. But the way they're using their clients to combat an abusive system is something that I am 100% into and would personally do it myself if given the chance and knowledge.

Seeing an exploiter use the power they have discovered to make sure everything is fair is amazing. They may have found a way to get ahead, but they're not using it for that.
Let me get this straight. Mojang made it clear their EULA states P2W is against the EULA and can lead to legal action if they choose. And Duper decides to take action to stop them from breaking the EULA and this guy dislikes him because of him doing that? Help me make that make sense please. On top if that he should never have been banned for a grief he never took part in. That's bullshit! And I'd of fought that I I were him!
You could certainly try to fight a ban like that, but all you'd accomplish is wasting money on legal fees. You'd be going against a corporation that could basically sue you out of existence by sheer force of money. It sucks, but individuals don't have a lot of recourse against wealthy corporations if they're not filthy stinking rich themselves. Also there's the fact that you wouldn't actually have any standing to sue on (not in the US, at least, which is where Mojang's parent company is located). Access to services provided by a private entity aren't a right. There's a few grounds on which you could sue for being barred service, but they require specific intent. E.G. you can't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, etc. Other than that, though, nobody but government institutions are *required* to treat you nicely. So yeah, it's a double standard, but it's one they're allowed to have.
I still haven’t gotten over the time I was playing on salC1’s server and got somebody to start telling me how the active dupe worked and immediately thought he was lying because I thought he was talking about the old cactus dupe. Until I saw salC1’s video and realized what he meant
Pretty epic video, just one thing: if i remember correctly, the Jeb_ incident at 12:04 turned out to be an NPC, not the actual jeb, and the fifth column ban wave didnt happen until they hit a separate, private mojang server that was used in one of their own YT videos - but overall same outcome: mojang got angy and waved around their ban hammer over a server griefing

That 1.16.3 baby piglin glitch was huge back in the day and there was this big controversy because RaysWorks made a farm to infinitely do it. Gnembon, who as far as I'm aware was friends with Ray up until this point, called him out for showing his 100k audience how to dupe. I helped make the farm and I had personally talked to Rays about it, I even asked him if he would like to join The Horizons discord. He then proceeded to screenshot my message and put it in one of his videos which is what I believe got the original Horizon discord banned.
And Griefergames sells perks to people who uses it to bully others. All they do is ignoring the actual problem of giving people kick vote and mute vote perks. Those are the people who mute and votekick for dumb reasons.

My kid plays Roblox and we don’t give her any money to buy this RNG P2W stuff anymore. We didn’t realize how bad it was for the first two months. We would give her something like 400 robux and she would come back asking for like 12000, lol, no. Paid rng should be made illegal for any game advertised to minors. Wish someone would grief Roblox like this. Honestly it’s nice having someone watch out for players. I remember a game she liked offered a free huge pet for playing for something like 72hrs and reaching some goal. These are kids who go to school and stuff. No one was gonna get it. But she wanted it bc we refused to buy her one knowing she would get the low end ones always. So I played for her on my computer. Literally had it running 24/7. I had played a beta version of a game on steam and they were having a one-year anniversary ‘Thank You’ event. I really like that game and I didn’t get to play the event because Roblox takes so much of your computer memory lol!! I was taking meetings with Roblox and an auto clicker in the background. Apparently a lot of savvy kids and parents were doing the same thing so on the third day they decided they were going to limit it to a small number of “first” people. I almost threw my laptop across the room. They kept bragging on Twitter that their game was the no 1 played that week. 🙄 I got it for her. But I hate those men. They have no business calling themselves game developers and all they’re doing is teaching kids how to gamble. I know it frustrates her having to play and earn the things that she could just buy or sometimes completely go without, but I hope someday she realizes that what we did we did with her best interest at heart.

Funny rn p2w no longer really works as most items have a requirement. God tier items like the Terminator require a ton of eman xp, and the Hyperion requires catacombs 24. Its p2w yeah sure, but its not that bad to the game's economy.

TBH Hypixel going "P2W" wasn't fully their choice, and I hardly categorize them as such. It became P2W thanks to rampant real money trade by bot farmers. Those willing to provide cash for in game money were going to do so anyway via 3rd parties, which would've drastically worsened the state of the server via bot farms and exploits.

In all honesty i don't even know in what way some people at mojang "hated him" and exactely why, the video seems to simply passively mention it without showcasing anything to support this claim. Edit: Ok, the video says that he was "disliked" for duping on servers, which does seem to explain to some extent the reason behind the ban, still it's still a passing comment that wasn't elaborated upon on or supported with anything that actually confirms it.

Eyooo! I played on KingsCraft server before and one of them gave me the barrier blocks, i keep it in a safe but Frost ( The owner of the server ) remove it all ). I was never expected that to happen since I was just playing for fun with my friends in that server 😅 It was fun though to met this guys and it seems they didn't have time to take it down because the KingsCraft server is full of active moderators that they can easily track them and banned them forever in the server. They will tp to you in the most unexpected way 😂

I just want to mention one thing: What DuperTrooper did is a crime in most jurisdictions. It doesn’t matter if it’s morally right or wrong, if the persecutor wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, you’re gonna land in court, and if really unlucky, in jail. I’m not saying that this is how it should be, but that is how it is. The reason this is important to know is that if you decide to participate - especially if you’re crashing a server, or destroying blocks by circumventing security measures - it can get you in legal trouble. This doesn’t mean you should not do it, but you should know when you make that decision.
To be fair it goes against minecraft's EULA to sell in game items for real money (like plugins are allowed but it sounded like spawners themselves were only obtainable for real money)

My kid plays Roblox and we don’t give her any money to buy this RNG P2W stuff anymore. We didn’t realize how bad it was for the first two months. We would give her something like 400 robux and she would come back asking for like 12000, lol, no. Paid rng should be made illegal for any game advertised to minors. Wish someone would grief Roblox like this. Honestly it’s nice having someone watch out for players.
I remember a game she liked offered a free huge pet for playing for something like 72hrs and reaching some goal. These are kids who go to school and stuff. No one was gonna get it. But she wanted it bc we refused to buy her one knowing she would get the low end ones always. So I played for her on my computer. Literally had it running 24/7. I had played a beta version of a game on steam and they were having a one-year anniversary ‘Thank You’ event. I really like that game and I didn’t get to play the event because Roblox takes so much of your computer memory lol!! I was taking meetings with Roblox and an auto clicker in the background. Apparently a lot of savvy kids and parents were doing the same thing so on the third day they decided they were going to limit it to a small number of “first” people. I almost threw my laptop across the room. They kept bragging on Twitter that their game was the no 1 played that week. 🙄 I got it for her. But I hate those men. They have no business calling themselves game developers and all they’re doing is teaching kids how to gamble.
I know it frustrates her having to play and earn the things that she could just buy or sometimes completely go without, but I hope someday she realizes that what we did we did with her best interest at heart.

Funny rn p2w no longer really works as most items have a requirement. God tier items like the Terminator require a ton of eman xp, and the Hyperion requires catacombs 24. Its p2w yeah sure, but its not that bad to the game's economy.

TBH Hypixel going "P2W" wasn't fully their choice, and I hardly categorize them as such. It became P2W thanks to rampant real money trade by bot farmers. Those willing to provide cash for in game money were going to do so anyway via 3rd parties, which would've drastically worsened the state of the server via bot farms and exploits.

In all honesty i don't even know in what way some people at mojang "hated him" and exactely why, the video seems to simply passively mention it without showcasing anything to support this claim.
Edit: Ok, the video says that he was "disliked" for duping on servers, which does seem to explain to some extent the reason behind the ban, still it's still a passing comment that wasn't elaborated upon on or supported with anything that actually confirms it.

Eyooo! I played on KingsCraft server before and one of them gave me the barrier blocks, i keep it in a safe but Frost ( The owner of the server ) remove it all ). I was never expected that to happen since I was just playing for fun with my friends in that server 😅
It was fun though to met this guys and it seems they didn't have time to take it down because the KingsCraft server is full of active moderators that they can easily track them and banned them forever in the server. They will tp to you in the most unexpected way 😂

It doesn’t matter if it’s morally right or wrong, if the persecutor wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, you’re gonna land in court, and if really unlucky, in jail.
I’m not saying that this is how it should be, but that is how it is.
The reason this is important to know is that if you decide to participate - especially if you’re crashing a server, or destroying blocks by circumventing security measures - it can get you in legal trouble.
This doesn’t mean you should not do it, but you should know when you make that decision.
