There’s actually another stranger mission with the nun sister in saint Denis, and it’s pretty important to Arthur’s character later on, make sure you do it later on it may only pop up when inside Saint Denis. Also there’s still the mayor side mission that appears at night that’s still incomplete😂
@@kaliwali I'd also suggest to go see Charlotte (the widow who live alone in her cabin, north of Annesburg I think) at least one more time as soon as possible. Less important for Arthur, but it's a little thing for later.
@@kaliwali Roger Clark's performance is simply impeccable!! It's even painful for the player to see Arthur's expressions forgiving debts and allowing these people to seek a dignified life in such difficult times. At this moment, suffering from tuberculosis (which at the time there was no cure), Arthur is beginning to confront all the moral values he imposed throughout his career as an outlaw. Seeing all this evolution through Arthur's expressions (this will happen a lot throughout chapter 6) makes the player feel all the pain and sympathy, not just for him, but for every good person who is just trying to have a life of dignity.
Can't wait to finish watching this, but before I forget, definitely make sure to visit Saint Denis ASAP near the church to see Sister Calderon one more time.
27:10 even to goat got scared of the mask 😅 Good vídeo Kali, and it's in this point on we see how much thoughtful Arthur is about what he does, and makes me think about the begining of rdr 1, when the priest and that young lady are talking about redemption, what makes the difference between a good or a bad man, who is worthy of go to heaven... it makes me think Arthur things about those things too. Keep going, I love this game and I have played it countless times, even the online hahaha
I'm amazed by the subtle differences in the dialog at camp based on camp morale. If you keep the camp stocked and funded throughout the game, there seem to be more gang members on your side in chapter 6. This game is so big, you can have a very different experience in a second playthrough. Genius
The way Arthur handled the money lending situation with Strauss, and how he's helping the Downes family, is why I love him so much. He became a truly good man, giving without expecting a reward, or gratitude from those that he has previously hurt. He does right things because they are the right things to do, period. P.S., The inscription on Calloway's revolver, Canis Canem Edit, is also the motto of Bullworth Academy from Rockstar's 2006 game Bully (and even the game's name in some jurisdictions). So, since that school seems like a fairly old institution, it's my head canon that Calloway was an alumnus of Bullworth back in his day. But that's just me making theories, it's probably just an Easter egg. Great video, Kali. 🤠
I find it so smart form the game writers to chose as names for the last debtors John and Arthur. Earing the widow say "Arthur's dead" knowing Arthur Morgan has an ilness that was a death sentence at the time hits different
Everything just seems to mean more now. Every word spoken, every look given. The desperation has definitely put things in perspective for a lot of the camp members, and moved their priorities around, and in very different ways for each person too. The fact that you really took your time with this game, getting to know every character so well and learn all their personality traits is making the scene at camp hit that much harder. Seeing how broken Pearson is now has been especially difficult for me. And for Arthur, just looking at his eyes through some of these missions and side quests, it really feels to me like he's questioning everything. All his choices leading up this point. "What's it all been for?". Which in a lot of ways is driving his extra level of kindness and generosity For as difficult as some of the early Strauss missions were to do, the last ones here make it all worth it. Arthur finally able to do right, to an extent, to the people Strauss has screwed over. And to atone for Strauss' greed, at least as much as one can at this point. Also seeing Arthur boot him out of camp is especially satisfying lol
Thank you for finishing the Strauss debt collecting missions. I know they were painful but I hope now you see why they were important.. Such great character development
I love when you get a kick out of the NP conversations. You have such a cute little giggle and a nice warm smile. You totally get this game. It is my favorite of. All time. Hands down.
When I first played RDR2 , one of things that scared the crap out of me besides the panther , cougar & wild animals etc . Was all the dynamite in the mines.😮😂
Don't forget Mrs. Charlotte up north. (My favorite stranger mission.) Emily Dorsch, her voice actress, did such a good job playing her. Also, it's one of the few missions Arthur says nothing about in his journal.
From telling Archie Downes that, "Maybe I'll your mother in black, on your behalf," to shaming the mining bullies that he's "Just a boy," is such a good indicator of how far Arthur has come since we first met him.

If you want to do a scary halloween episode, here´s some tips. Remember Swanson talking about ghost´s ?. Maybe he´s on to something. Between 9pm and 3 am go to the swamps (must be foggy). The spot is between the B and L in Bluewater Marsh. Also, you can visit the friendly man in the swamp. He´s house is just under the big N under Lakay. Check under the houses in Butchers creek from 4am to 5 am. Remember to shoot the schrine in the previous camp. The vampire in SD would be cool to do, but it takes some effort finding the clues.
Once I was riding thru Butcher’s Creek I accidentally ran over a chicken. All of the sudden on my mini map a bunch of red dots appeared and guns started going off. I high tailed it out of there, lol.
Red Dead's economy is kinda broken when it comes to the player, but $35 back in 1899 is equivalent to over $1300 today! It's crazy how, despite the opening of the game, the first three chapters are pretty feel good overall. Then you get to this point and it's all just dark and miserable in tone. The area of the map comliments that feeling as well.
You are good at this game. It's a pleasure watching you. Really good combat skills, attention to dialog, commentary that adds a lot of value - the best playthrough I've seen. I've seen about 20.
Saw you tearing up a bit at camp when Jack said he wished everybody would stop being mean.❤ Please visit Charlotte whenever she calls. Easily my favorite character. So insightful, polite, inquisitive and sweet.....kinda like you! Your reaction when Arthur kicked Strauss out of camp was priceless!😲
1:03:59 no, they wouldn’t have. The murfrees do kill, but they also torture you until you die. Or kill your self from the trauma of being tortured. They like killing and torturing. It’s their thing lmao the victim said “lord forgive me” because in the bible suicide is one of the biggest sins next to murder. It literally says on the description “prisoner” lol
Make sure you do one more side mission with the nun in Saint Denis before you do the Braithwate mission. I don't want you to miss one of the best scenes in the game.
Good Morning Kali…I enjoyed watching this episode today. Can’t wait to watch the next one. Your play throughs of RDR2 have been amazing and I like how you take your time with the game and by exploring everything too. You look pretty and like your hat. And congrats on 25k subs and you’re close to 30k. Here’s to many more. And it’s almost Halloween 🎃. Have a good day today and enjoy your Tuesday. 👍💯
Kali...thanks.for ur refreshing outlook on life even 8n the reckless time of 1800's I have recently become a follower from ur red dead perspective...find it refreshing that a human being can still feel others on such a beautiful light amongst the perils of life...overstood life hinders u to our fantasy, and vow to await patiently for ur version of the out come...I've watched (ur perspective being my 6th) of the playthru of this game loving everyone's struggle...ur attention to details and collective thoughts after make yours above all else...please don't change...look forward to ur completion...then I will look at other games u have played...peace&blessings to u an ur family✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽u r appreciated from Baltimore...
thank you so much for the kind words! I lived in Baltimore for a few years and worked at a hospital there for awhile before moving to Ohio 💚 glad you are enjoying the channel!
36:04 "So, you're a popular employee, my friend?" - "Not especially." - "Well, I guess we're about to find out." 😂 42:30 You just relax and enjoy yourself, John. 😂 1:11:00 "I feel like Arthur ... is not all about the money any more. ... some good deeds." Definitely. Nice character development. 1:15:45 Maximum Honor. Nice! 🌟 1:23:00 "He looks like he might have broken his back and he's not sure how to handle it." Quite possible. "I'm so mind blown about the working sites. This game. It's pretty wild." The level of immersion in this game is great. 1:34:48 "OMG ... Why? Why are you like this, horse?" 😂 1:36:31 "I just wanted to say the debt's cancelled, and, erm here take this. It won't bring your husband back, I know. You need money and I don't." 😢 That made me tear up. Great writing and acting. 1:38:31 "Man, never did I think that I would roll up into camp and not be happy to be here." Yeah, the mood is very different now. Mainly different shades of anger, despair and worry. 1:41:17 "He just kicked Strauss out." Also haven't seen that coming, but that's a great idea. 1:47:03 "... just at each other's throat, drowning themselves in bottles, being angry" - Karen walking into the frame from stage left right on cue: "Arthur Morgan" 🤣🤣🤣- "and .. for example!" That was hilariously perfect timing. 1:48:03 "Also want to see that widow again." Charlotte. Yes, it would be nice if we could keep an eye on her and see to it that she got what she needs to survive out there.
I don't think Arthur really cares about going to heaven or even the redemption, specially after everything he's done. He just wants to do whats right and for those who have more on life like John and his family still got to live in a second chance and Arthur is already dead so... But his redemption is a beautiful story though. It's sad but I guess everyone of us has to pay for our sins someday sooner or later.
Yea he's not a religious man, he doesn't care about that lol. He just wants to do right by people, and he sees things differently now. The thing is there's always been some good in him, we've seen it through his actions throughout the game, esp if you make morally good choices as him yourself, but with Dutch's descent into madness, and his diagnosis, he's starting to see things a lot more clearly now, and his outlook has changed
@jaysundae and with that perspective specifically, we can all agree that Arthur was indeed a bad person in a lot of senses. He lied, deceived, killed, robbed, but that's the beauty of it. People always have sides of darkness and light in them, some are more than others but no one is all bad or good. If wasn't for his sickness Arthur would never change, he would never stop being "the bad guy". My opinion on this is that he never stopped being loyal to Dutch. Even going against his orders and making moves against his back he still believed that he could make things turn around and save his family and man who raised him regardless of what happens in the end. That gang is all he knew and all he's ever did loved more than everything. I remember when he said those things to Sean when rescuing him from Blackwater. So it's not that of a spoiler if you consider how John also still had some love from the old days from this gang in RDR1 and hesitant to betray and kill his fellow brothers. He also loved Dutch. Jack even more says the line when playing as him "I grew up with gunslingers partner" when you kill people in the game. It's kinda conflicted but we are the bad guys and we love it! Sorry for the long bible here lol it's because this series is so awesome and deep. Love these games and characters so much.
The mine Foreman wasn't laughing because Arthur Londonderry had died, he was laughing because the agent of the filthy usurer come to collect on the debt would have to go away empty handed. Arthur's outrage was entirely misplaced on this occasion, as he quickly discovered. And don't forget, Arthur was 100% complicit with every debt collection up until Chapter 6. If he had never got sick, he probably would still be debt collecting for Stauss. Arthur's current attitude is a direct result of his death sentence, him seeking Redemption for his past. If you play through again, try playing as low honour Arthur, see the difference. Now that you've met Hamish, and without giving you any spoilers, I really, REALLY recommend you don't complete it until after Chapter 6. There are four parts to his story, just don't do Part IV until after Chapter 6.
The reason that Strauß' quests always felt so wrong, is that he was "robbing" those that already had nothing. For the most part, the gang seemed to be a kind of Robin Hood thing, with them robbing the rich like Cornwall and so on. Strauß was the exception to that, while also weirdly being the only one doing legal business. This also shows you how the law protects the rich, but not the poor, which is also an important message of the game, I think. Now, I understand why Arthur did what he did, but I somehow can't help but feel sad for Strauß. I feel like he didn't deserve to be thrown out, especially not like that, and when compared to some of the other gang members. Maybe he could even have been a better person, had he experienced what Arthur did. But since this whole thing is going down-hill anyway, maybe it was a saving grace for Strauß...
Was looking forward to this one the side quests in this chapter are fantastic and add allot to Arthur. As a chracter. Its interesting you mentioned Arthur Wanting to do good deeds there many quests in Chapter 6 were you have option to acept payment. In Debt collecting mission Arthur will even say, "Seeing as i am here i may as well protect the payment". Vs him saying i will do want i can for you. Low honour Arthur wants to make as much money as he can to head out west. Arthurs dilalogue is also differnt with low honour when kicking out strauss. Thats one of things that makes this game powerful is that you as the player impact Arthurs Chracter development.
I was going to leave a comment recommending that you take a trip back to Saint Denis at some point as there was a little activity you could do with completing there, but having read the comments I see that other folk have already beaten me & told you exactly where to go, what will happen, who you'll meet & why it's important, so I guess there's no need for my vague hint anymore.
I loved that he helped Penelope and Beau. Arthur was a little taken in by Penelope. She was so pretty and had a charm to her. I loved when he say “They will like you in Boston”. Being from Boston I do agree with that.
In that conversation you interrupted between Arthur and the Reverend... Arthur doesn't really say anymore. Swanson says that he's given up "that nonsense" or some other reference to his addictions. He says that he met a nun in St. Denis and they prayed together and that the curse has been lifted ever since. More or less something like that.
Howdy Kali, Using your eagle eye to explore new area's is highly recommended ( each new area has new plants and other wonders ). Exploring Butcher's Creek at night will have another Easter egg ( you were warm at 26:17 ). I hope you learned that Butcher Creek goats are more dangerous than Canadian geese. Lol. You past by a couple Legendries ( if your interested ) that did not alert you due to being in a mission. you can return to these area's during free roam ( 23:40 and 31:12 area's ). You may want to return to Valentine to see what's new. So happy you found Hamish, may I recommend you only doing 2 more missions with Hamish this chapter ( entirely up to you thou ). You did miss out on a free weapon in Annesburg from the bear trap guy ( free items need to be picked up right away ). Now is a good time to do more exploring and side missions, hunting, fishing and take a break from the main missions. Like re-visiting Marko Dragic up by the widow ( does not show any notification ). Re-visiting and exploring will help with some closure to some of the side quests ( Hint - near Hanging dog ranch ).
54:55 I think that if he would be in the first game, John would capture or kill him because if he wouldnt he would lose his family since Ross wanted the whole gang dead and i feel like for John family is more important than anything else
Tip: Entering Dead Eye automatically reloads your weapon. If you are out of bullets on a particular weapon, simply entering dead eye you'll notice you are magically reloaded and can continue firing. So, I never wait for a reload in combat, if I have dead eye...
1:41:58 Strauss didn't put a gun on Arthur's head to make him do the money lending. Arthur only has himself to blame for getting sick when he beat the shit out of Mister Downes
The Canis Edit gun you have "Dog eat dog" is an Easter egg for another Rockstar game , which in the US is called "Bully." As a matter fact, if you type in Canis Edit on UA-cam you'll see the game itself. My favorite game alongside the Red Dead games
Red Dead 1 went live today on PC and I am having a ball with it. Not gonna complain about the price either, and I am pleasantly surprised at how good it looks. I was worried it might be too much of a letdown after all the hours I put into RD2 but nope. Well pleased.
You should duel wield your hand guns. If you can't do it you need a off hand holster. I'm sure you have it.just move joystick till both weapons have arrow.
I noticed Arthur stopped picking up cigarettes; I figured he isn't taking them because he is sick. But cigarette cards often come with packs. He should keep picking them up for the cards. He doesn't have to smoke them.
For the veteran mission, most people, myself included, think the best way to experience this side quest is after you rescue him you get 3 missions. Do the first fishing one, then the second one you go hunting. After that don’t come back till after chapter 6 is complete. You get a unique dialogue that makes the side quest more impactful. Also that mission is coming up for you to be able to get a hat like the one you wear in videos. Without spoilers, it’s a mission at night when it’s raining and you’re having to silently sneak into a place. A lot of people wear these hat in this mission, be sure to kill them then if it’s glowing on the ground that means it’s a hat that will be added to wardrobe as long as you pick it up. I think you might can get it just one other time but the mission only becomes available if you accept the mission when someone else asks you to help.
The camp funds box. Sorry you missed that scene when Arthur startles a camp member with his hands in the cookie jar in the episode before this one. Maybe on your next play through you might get a chance to see.
tbf, lying about talking to Milton or not, what were they supposed to do with Molly? If you send her away like "don't worry about her, she's crazy/she's lying", what guarantee do you have that she won't actually talk to the Pinkertons eventually? In this environment, just her saying she talked sealed her fate, you can't really blame Grimshaw for being the one that pulled the trigger.
Oops, you forgot to go into the gun store in Annesburg and get your free gift from the bear trap guy! I don't know if it's time limited, it may be worthwhile stopping in there later.
It’s near impossible to not notice the difference in Arthur’s way of speaking, his decision making, and body language ever since he got diagnosed. Being faced with his own mortality in such a way that has truly brought him a sense of care and respect for life he has never felt before. Sure, the life he has lived never ensured even but a moment of true safety for him. He could’ve been shot any day in his life defying the law, but I feel as if actually getting provided confirmation that he is very much at the end of the road, that there is no point of return, no slim chance of making it out of this unscathed… it’s really helped him find value in life
This chapter is truly insane with how much things have changed. Arthur and his demeanor. Everyone else. You can actually FEEL things going downhill.. It's pretty insane but also makes this game such a masterpiece.
Please leave hamisg mission number 4 for the end!! If you completed the first 3 wait for the last one untill the end of the game ❤❤❤❤ Loats of hugs from Spain ❤❤❤❤
Like you, I’ve played RDR before this. No spoilers in the reply but do you begin to see how certain conversations hit with characters knowing what you know having played the first game?
YES. I'm sure if I didn't play RDR1 before this I wouldn't see it so clearly.. But the conversations around camp make so much sense right now. You can see the clear divide.
A sinister detail about Butcher’s Creek is that there is a burnt down house, and sometimes going to it you can see a glowing red pentagram underneath, indicating that the town is indeed cursed! This whole region is really bizarre and eerie.
There’s actually another stranger mission with the nun sister in saint Denis, and it’s pretty important to Arthur’s character later on, make sure you do it later on it may only pop up when inside Saint Denis. Also there’s still the mayor side mission that appears at night that’s still incomplete😂

Playing through this game, one really need to make a checklist as you go if you don't want to miss out on a bunch of things. =)

36:04 "So, you're a popular employee, my friend?" - "Not especially." - "Well, I guess we're about to find out." 😂
42:30 You just relax and enjoy yourself, John. 😂
1:11:00 "I feel like Arthur ... is not all about the money any more. ... some good deeds." Definitely. Nice character development.
1:15:45 Maximum Honor. Nice! 🌟
1:23:00 "He looks like he might have broken his back and he's not sure how to handle it." Quite possible.
"I'm so mind blown about the working sites. This game. It's pretty wild." The level of immersion in this game is great.
1:34:48 "OMG ... Why? Why are you like this, horse?" 😂
1:36:31 "I just wanted to say the debt's cancelled, and, erm here take this. It won't bring your husband back, I know. You need money and I don't."
😢 That made me tear up.
35:20 while you had the guards distracted a group of prisoners were making a run for it across the field to the left 😮😂
Did she miss that important conversation with Swanson, there?
Pure perfect timing that goat has hahaha
Facts bro 💯
Its sad to see Karen like that they were lovers with sean and she started drinking after he died :(
1:32:50 $5 back then is $171 today.

„Arthur’s dead” geez it hits different when you realise that Arthur in fact is dead too…
54:55 I think that if he would be in the first game, John would capture or kill him because if he wouldnt he would lose his family since Ross wanted the whole gang dead and i feel like for John family is more important than anything else
Hamish, the one-legged veteran, has 3 more missions. Finishing his mission strand during Chapter 6 will cause you to lose the final reward you get.
Tip: Entering Dead Eye automatically reloads your weapon. If you are out of bullets on a particular weapon, simply entering dead eye you'll notice you are magically reloaded and can continue firing. So, I never wait for a reload in combat, if I have dead eye...
Every time you mount/or dismount your horse... you should equip your "good guns".
I love how everyone says “Mackah” 😂
1:41:58 Strauss didn't put a gun on Arthur's head to make him do the money lending. Arthur only has himself to blame for getting sick when he beat the shit out of Mister Downes
Hamish Sinclair, Charlotte Balfour & Charles Chatenay are my top 3 Stranger missions. Hurry up to see Charlotte
It’s interesting that a couple songs Pearson sings in camp are sea shanties you also hear in Assassins Creed Black Flag.
Well he was in navy according to him. So I'm not surprised.
@@Stormblade011 oh yeah, but it’s cool to hear those particular ones in another way
MY FAVOURITE PLAYTHROUGH.
YOU ARE VERY FUN TO WATCH 💪🏾
LESSS GOOO!!!
You can come back to camp in Chapter 6 and Pearson will be singing a sad song with his squeeze box.
Fun fact: $35.00 was equivalent to $1,329.58 in 1899
The Canis Edit gun you have "Dog eat dog" is an Easter egg for another Rockstar game , which in the US is called "Bully." As a matter fact, if you type in Canis Edit on UA-cam you'll see the game itself.
Molly’s revelation is truly one of the most disgusting moments in this game…
You should duel wield your hand guns. If you can't do it you need a off hand holster. I'm sure you have it.just move joystick till both weapons have arrow.
I noticed Arthur stopped picking up cigarettes; I figured he isn't taking them because he is sick. But cigarette cards often come with packs. He should keep picking them up for the cards. He doesn't have to smoke them.
Only premium cigarettes no need of normal ones
She even burgled his house in one of the early episodes 😅 I had to bite my tongue, he is easily my favorite character, even over the camp members
The camp funds box. Sorry you missed that scene when Arthur startles a camp member with his hands in the cookie jar in the episode before this one. Maybe on your next play through you might get a chance to see.
Love the title of the video how many times Marston. I don’t like Arthur’s cough. Sucks to hear him go through that
tbf, lying about talking to Milton or not, what were they supposed to do with Molly?
There’s a house just west of Van Horn. Be sure to check it out.
Yes! another episode! love it!
Oh awesome! Great timing for me lol hope your week is going well stay safe kali!
Kaliwali Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Good video i love yours videos ❤
Why don’t you ever switch over to your specialty ammunition?
CHALLENGES!!!
Complete some challenges!!!!
You're in the next chapter, maybe it's time to visit the cabin in the swamp? 😜
The Game does not know how much money you got, so it just has a set amount of money 35$
Please leave hamisg mission number 4 for the end!! If you completed the first 3 wait for the last one untill the end of the game ❤❤❤❤
Loats of hugs from Spain ❤❤❤❤
Do check updated legendary animals on map and get panther saddle
Like you, I’ve played RDR before this. No spoilers in the reply but do you begin to see how certain conversations hit with characters knowing what you know having played the first game?
YES. I'm sure if I didn't play RDR1 before this I wouldn't see it so clearly.. But the conversations around camp make so much sense right now. You can see the clear divide.
@@kaliwali they do a great job of nodding toward the first game a lot and still make it worthwhile if you’ve never played it.
Amazing video and Episode Epico 😮😎🔥💪100/20 kali linda como siempre thank 👀🤠👌 como estas beautiful kali 🙌🔥😉🌹
A sinister detail about Butcher’s Creek is that there is a burnt down house, and sometimes going to it you can see a glowing red pentagram underneath, indicating that the town is indeed cursed! This whole region is really bizarre and eerie.
Don't give up on Mrs. Grimshaw, she stills believe in Arthur
well.. dont give up on everything just yet
🎃🎃 Another awesome episode 👻👻❤
8:59 yes! Put Susan in her place. I’ll never forgive her for what she did to Molly 😪
Abigail is too toxic... 😤
