Ground BEEF STROGANOFF Pot Pie for 2 to 4 w/ Cream Sauce Gravy

- Time to get thrifty with my budget and clean out the fridge at the same time! I went through my archive of recipes and cookbooks and put together ground beef stroganoff pot pie and then through in a cream gravy that went great with the pot pie. Ground Beef Stroganoff Pot Pie INGREDIENTS:
1 lb ground beef (cooked)
1 cup or 5-6 mushrooms sliced
Up to 1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs (I mixed plain with Italian seasoned)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp Italian seasoning
Up to 1/4 cup dried Parsley flakes
INSTRUCTIONS IN VIDEO
9-in oven-proof pie plate
Bake 375 degrees, 45 minutes (cover crust with pie ring or foil)
Cream Sauce Gravy INGREDIENTS:
2 Tab butter
2 Tab All-purpose flour
1/8 to 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
S & P to taste
14 oz beef OR chicken broth (I used beef)
2/3 cup whipping cream
INSTRUCTIONS IN VIDEO
Pour sauce over each "slice" of baked pot pie. Reserve remaining sauce for leftovers.

Looks delicious! I will have to try this. A tip for slicing mushrooms is to use an egg slicer. I use my egg slicer for mushrooms, strawberries, eggs and other soft things that need slicing.
