Sorry but all this channel does is invent imaginary personalities for animals. It is just attracted by the sound more so than other donkeys. It doesn't love music, care about the guy playing it or anything else said in the video. Reminds me of the video with the girl that had a pet bee who she pretended knew her better than anyone.

Yeah, I have seen a video of donkey abuse on Santorini a few weeks ago... Terrible. And they sell T-shirts and plushie donkeys after all that.
It’s def strange when you think about it. They’re in the same family as horses and can even make hybrids by mating with a horse, yet people don’t associate the same level of emotion and intelligence as they do with horses.
There is/was a wild burro that used to patrol the hot springs i would camp at all through the night. It was actually reassuring hearing him make his rounds and announce the coast was clear. I hope he’s still there, diligently scouting.

One of the most heartwarming videos I have ever seen. The fact that she is at a sanctuary and was likely rescued from a bad situation makes it even more wonderful.
I had a coworker that would visit a horse at sanctuary and this man would be so excited and overjoyed with every visit. He would almost be in tears talking about how much the horse loved him and was so happy to see him. I was pretty miserable then and would put on an act to match his energy because I liked him and was genuinely happy for him he found a way to snatch his joy out of life but I had no joy. That was many years ago but this man and donkey made me remember

I used to have a goose who adopted me as her mate. She wouldn't let anyone else come near me. She would climb into my lap and sit there for hours and she'd wrap her neck around mine and cuddle with me...she would nibble on the back side of my shirt to tease me and go crazy if I pretended to ignore her. Lautrec ( she was a Toulouse Goose ) was so sweet...I really grieved when she died.

Yup. The example of animal understanding human communication that I like is----
years ago a book came out about animal intelligence. Sorry I've forgotten the name There were testimonies from different people confirming that point. The one that got to me was a man who had 2 or three cats who, every time he went out for a while, would do destructive things. Pull off all the toilet paper from the rolls, knock items off of counters and tables, tip over water dishes etc.
So he concluded, since this behavior ONLY HAPPENED when he was gone, that his cats got angry thinking he abandoned them.
So he did an experiment. He started talking to them before he left like one would talk to a toddler. " Ok now I'm leaving for a LITTLE WHILE but I WILL come back. I love you. Don't worry. I'll be home again soon."
Well you guessed it. No more destructive cat naughtiness. Since I read that I have been doing the same thing with my cat. She's always peaceful and doesn't seem to mind me being away.
But she DOES start pushing things off surfaces if I don't play with her. 😊 I'm well trained.

I love donkeys - my cousins had one named Burrito and i just loved him. Everytime i was over i'd go spend time with him. He really loved me and my younger cousin and he'd follos us anywhere and cuddle. He was such a sweet old donkey.

I Love Donkeys, I got to know them while working at Diamonds in the Rough rescue in VA. I'm So happy that I got to know them and learn more about them. They are the sweetest! Most are very loving like Hazel, if treated with love they Always give it back. Be patient, it's worth every minute you give.. they give back a million times more. If I had the space, I would adopt 100 !

Just simply adorable! Like "A Course in Miracles" says: "Love is beyond what can be taught." It is either there or it is absent. Clearly, these folks have it.
This is awesome, in most parts of the world donkeys are seen as unintelligent pack animals, this video shows they are a lot more than that.
