This little three year old respects this donkey and is so gentle with him. What a fabulous bond they have. 💕
and just as,if not more importantly, Snickers respects the child, and is gentle. Snickers could do a serious amount of damage with out hardly really trying if he wanted to, or simply forgot to be careful

When I am older, I want to live in Friesland: The state of farms in the Netherlands. I would like my future child to have a bond with animals just like this child has with a donkey.
Growing up on the farm is great as long as he doesn't lose a body part or his life in one of the machines (augur, bailer,...)-a farm can be a very dangerous place if you're young.

I know the BS line that y00re going to say: "Hey, we had to fight the communists OVER THERE so that we don't fight them in our streets in America". The vietnam war was based on lies (as most American wars are), and Y00re the enforcer. Nobody forced y00 to volunteer to be an enforcer, so y00 are part of the problem.
I don't know where you learned history but Viet Nam was a French war that we were stupidly pulled into. Yet another debacle foisted upon us by a good old Democrat, JFK. And worsened by another in LBJ.
We take animals, like Snickers, for granted nowadays. Like seriously, have you seen a donkey and a little kid having a bond before ? I don't think so. This is why The Dodo is really that place where different animals share a bond with a different kind of animals. It is really cute and really awesome.
Exactly. People need to appreciate more. They play a big role in out environments and show more humanity than actual humans.
I mean, if you don't see trees falling does that mean trees don't fall? If anything, I'd say the Dodo shows us how much we DO appreciate animals! I'm sure there are plenty of stories like this and it warms my heart everytime I see and hear about it!
This relationship is really not special at all. If it is, this video absolutely did not display it. It just shows a donkey tolerating human. Can you pinpoint exactly where the special relationship is shown in this vide9? Because I do not see it. This video is EXTREME clickbait
Donkeys played a key role on farms for years. They socialize with their owners and protect the property and the livestock. Unfortunately they're wary of anything they view as a threat, including kids. They're amazing animals and that's why the bond between them are special. Usually Donkeys can just be as the term says jack@$$$

They imitate their parents. If the mom wakes up at 6AM every morning the kid will also wake up at 6am in the morning, if the Dad reads a boook before going to bed everyday, the kid will also pick up a book to read before bed everyday. Humans are literally animals in the most basic sense.

I noticed this mom was outside with the child.....she obviously had shown him how to load hay, and feed Snickers......the water to clean his wheelbarrow....all of it had been shown to him by parents who cared enough to make chores fun for this child! I would love to follow this story as the child grows up! I just like the way you presented it......you recognized right away there was more than just letting him outside to play! Thanks!

Animals can be the MOST loving, attentive friend a parent could want for their child.
They're not too bad for this 71-year-old man either! We got a miniature schnauzer two years ago. He was a 4-month-old rescue puppy. He makes me feel like a kid again. I just love the little guy.

My son was the same, because I always said "gentle hands" right from a year old with kittens and our little dog.
Now my grandchildren are just as sweet and gentle with animals, and my dogs love them! 😊

At around age 3, many kids actually like emulating their parents, and are very interested in chores - it's a good time to get them to start learning such activities, and get them used to doing chores 😉
Because, when someone is his age, there are no expectations, no iron fist making him "do those nasty chores or else". When my son was that age, he wanted to be involved with everything and help. But when he got older, he wasn't so interested, because those things he loved to do, were presented as "chores" and "work", and that "there will be no play time until the chores are finished". That's how, when we grow up, we tend to really not like and try to avoid those things that we are made to do. If they were portrayed as chores, work, or a job, then maybe those things could have been viewed differently.
That kid is SO SMART, he's more socially intelligent and emotionally developed than some adults 😅.

I hate to say it, but I’m calling out lil Gunnar for president 2050. Any kid that can pick up chores and love an animal like this has my vote. Good job parents. Gunnar looks like a mini farm owner. I love the little Carhart overalls the lil guy has. Every kid should experience the farm life with animals. This is coming form a 50 year old AA. I was just introduced to wood burning in backyard and it’s the most relaxing thing ever. I burn wood as much as possible. So relaxing.
