I always love how effortless and clean your builds come out, watching you build, I'm always filled with Envy as I would be screaming and swearing the whole time LOL
Mandatory cursing and swearing is always there - you just don't see or hear it, build is not great without those steps 😂😂😂
I find it so annoying that most radiators especially the galahad AIO's you have to buy the reverse blades seperate and discard the 3 that came with it. Just sell it as intake please!
I actually just emailed Lian Li today about this asking for a fan swap. Extremely annoying, especially considering they recommend the aio as an intake themselves for the vision case.
Its amazing that a case without top exhausts cutouts would perform better than the evo variant.
1 degree difference, so let's say same performance, people forget that airflow works differently, no need to have top exhaust, rear fans will do the job just fine...
@@LevelUPGamingTech this is unbelievably good to hear as I was concerned about not having any top mounted AIO (this is my first build and im a total pc noob). I Am going to pre order the o11 vision now. I already purchased the corsair icue link set up, so 360 AIO, with the ox120 triple fan starter kit plus 2 addiontal qx120 fans. do you think this will be a reasonbly safe set up? any info would be greatly appreciated
for me thats one of the best looking pc´s i saw on your channel.
i also managed now to install my ssd. i feel so dumb sometimes 🙂 i tryed place the ssd in the inside of the bracket and ofc the bracket is in the way then and blocks me from plugin the cables. now i did srcew the ssd on the outside of the bracket and it works .
Thanks man 😁
Regrading SSDs they are always installed on the outside of the caddy because of the cables, but we all make mistakes 😀 I forgot to peel of the sticker from the cooler 😂
@@LevelUPGamingTech i just dont have your pc skills :-)
Great build! Forgive my ignorance but could you take the existing fans with AIO, remove them for reversible ones, and then place the originals at the back for venting? So in theory:
- buy 6 reversible and 1 AIO
- replace AIO fans with reversible
- mount original AIO fans to the back
- have 1 spare fan (remaining AIO)
I think that makes sense but just want to make sure I'm not missing something here.
Sure you can do that 🤘
I am building my new rig using Lian Li same case, lcd aio and fans too. I also have the same doubt. This confirmed my setup too.
But just to confirm that there is no need to buy additional controller and can just use the controller from aio to connect and control all the fans without purchasing anything extra like splitter too? Thanks.
where did you get that gpu bracket and how much was it? thank you
Are the cables custom cables or sleeves? Cable mods do not list this psu on the configurator.
How did you get all your fans to light up? 4 of my 8 light up but all work, don't know if I did something wrong or need an additional piece
Im trying to copy your fan configuration and just wanna make sure i got it right..
3 intake at the bottom
2 exhaust at the rear
And 3 exhaust connected to the radiator? (this is the one that mixed me up lol)
Cant figure out how many reverse fans and how many normal ones you're using 😅
All in, only rear exhaust 🤘
@@LevelUPGamingTechThanks so much!
Too bad lian li dont sell reverse fan 3 packs with controller included so I guess ill but it separately 🥲
nice job,can you tell me please the name of case behind you?
I dont understand why all guys who build in this case use 3 120mm fans as bottom intake. Why dont take 3 140mm fans especially in this case where ventilation is most important
!?
Let me clear that for you buddy, cause sometimes 120mm fan is a better choice. You see, many believe that 140 will be a better option, well not, 120mm fans might have better static pressure and in some situations that will be a better thing than a pure CFM or volume of air pushed inside the case. Noise from the fans is nowadays same between the 120 and 140mm fans. Other thing is that 120mm fans are now mostly 30mm thick for better static pressure and CFM in some cases, rather than 140 which are still 25mm thick, 120s are almost always cheaper too. In the end you can try for yourself and see that with 140mm fans you will almost always get diminishing returns.
So there, it's not 140 that is always better, I tried this theory several times and turned out to be true 😉
@@LevelUPGamingTech thank you for the detailed answer. are you use this build right now? How satisfied are you with the temperatures? I'm considering to buy this case for a 7800x3d and rtx 4080 super
My buddy is using it rn, main thing with this case is that you need those two fans at the back as an exhaust and 3 bottom ones as an intake, for the side I would use the AIO as an intake as well, 0 issues and best ratio of temps between CPU and GPU 👌
@@LevelUPGamingTech Ok, thank you very much
What's it looking for price on this total? I ❤it!
I've got a little 2cm L shaped bracket left over. It's got a rubber pad on one side and a slot in the other. Can't figure out where it goes. Any ideas?
Triangle that holds the glass, a piece fell from the side glass, super glue it, happens in transport
@@LevelUPGamingTech I downloaded the manual. Turns out it's one of the GPU anti sag supports.
Seems a bit of a daft design though. Big GPUs sag at the furthest unsupported corner, not next to the motherboard.
@@CB27 Yeah, and you can't use it if your not vertically mounting because the clip will be resting in the middle of the last fann on a 4080 Super. Always something with the fucking multiple vendors doing their own fucking thing with no commonality between them.
Gpu support bracket link?
Comes with the case I’m pretty sure
Hi mate what temps u got and which way fans are going?
Check the temps in my review of the case here ua-cam.com/video/33MhG8cOPwQ/v-deo.html
Fans are SL v2 reverse fans everywhere, except on the back SL v2 regular fans
Side intake ok with no push pull configuration?
Yeah it is ok, push pull adds maybe 1 top 2 degrees better temps if even that much...
Sik build. But did you bin the 3 normal flow fans that came with the aio when you put reverse fans on? It's criminal that a company releases a case that needs aio fans to be intake but their aio doesn't come with a reverse fans option.
I agree on this, this case has proven to be great for side intake with an AIO, and still comes with regular fans. Maybe in the future we will see some fans that comes with swappable blades, so user can choose if they will be reverse or regular fans. Would be nice 😀
@@LevelUPGamingTech we on the same page!
@@LevelUPGamingTech SWA fans from Thermaltake allow you to swap blades for reverse, but in my opinion those fans aren't great looking. Lian Li should definitely look at doing this if there isn't a patent to prevent it.
Why would reverse fan from the aoi ? Hot air needs to be going out
@@gsxs_geo
If you mount them reversed, the cold air gets pulled through the radiator.
Hot air must go out but not through the Radiator. You basicly want to push hot air through a cooler.
You have to puhs it out the back or the bottom. Back is the obvious choice.
Hot air rises up and gets pushed out the back.
Bottom would be bad because you force the hot air around the graphics card.
Are the side and bottom fans all reverse fans?
Yes all reverse
bottom fans reverse?
Bottom and side as well 👍
@@LevelUPGamingTech Is it possible to flip the radiator, so the tubes would be on the bottom? Will the tubes reach? Can you check it out for me? I have the same aio and I'm wondering if thats possible with this aio and o11 vision with motherboard on the lowest position?
@@marek4759 Possible but very tight. If you are worried about bubbles forming and such, myths and only myths, position the AIO on the side, tubes up and enjoy gaming 😉
@@LevelUPGamingTech Thank you for such a quick response :) I was asking more from aesthetic point of view, cause i feel like it would look better with tubes on the bottom so they won't be that visible when looking through the top glass panel :)
96 GB of ram 🤯
Why you didn't just reverse the Aio fans and you put new ?
why would you buy a black motherboard on a white build nonsense
Cause that's what I got, money don't grow on trees unfortunately, most of the stuff I need to buy myself. I do agree that white GPU and Mobo would be better...
there are a lot white am5 motherboards in the same price range lmao
Yes yes, again money 😁and priorities and all that stuff, eventually I will get it...@@BerndMiez-y4x
I fail to understand why people install, The Virus known as Windows, on such beautiful hardware. It's so cringe. Get with the Linux world homie ;)
do all these rgb management software work on linux, like L-connect etc. ? I am planning on building something similar but run linux on it
@@nikosgeorgantas2481no they don’t.
