I've been around forever, and that's a new one on me, too. Dual 184-pin AND dual 166-pin on the same board is wacky as F. That's so strange, it makes the purple seem normal.

My first PC had an Intel Pentium 200MMX CPU and the Motherboard had two type of RAM slots, EDO RAM and SDRAM. In 1996, EDO RAM was the type of memory that most PCs used, so I've only bought the SDRAM later.

This reminds me of my first PC in 1999, was working decently till 2012 before my brother threw it out as it became too slow.
    - Intel Pentium II 450Mhz with MMX Technology,133Mhz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache
    - Original Intel 440BX motherboard (on board 16MB Nvidia Riva TNT graphic card)
    - 64MB Hyundai SDRAM
    - 8.5GB 8000RPM IDE SEAGATE HDD
    - Kobian ATX cabinet 150W Power Supply
    - Sony 3.5" Inch 1.44MB Floppy Disk Drive
    - Acer 652P-072 CD-ROM 52X MAX IDE Drive
    - DLink DFM-562E Modem
    - LG studioworks 520si 15 monitor
    - Creative(Cambridge Soundworks) SBS10 Stereo Speakers
    - TVS Gold Mechanical Keyboard 104 Keys
    - Dual Booted on Windows 98 and Mandrake Linux
It played NFS3 and Quake3 decently.

I remember ECS mobos. I used to work on this stuff back in 98 99ish. These rolled steel pc chassis used to cut the fingers easily, especial the drive cages and the metal parts that covered the drive bays on the inside. Pretty much the only color you could get for a self-build pc at the time was off white, beige with grey accents of some kind. I used to love the motherboard case badges some companies like ASUS or Supermicro had. There was a clean smell whenever you would open up those anti-static motherboard bags for the 1st time. I was a big AMD fan in that day, VA-503+ Mainboard made by a company called FIC. AMD K6-2 cpu, Ati AGP card of some kind. That mainboard was versatile. Love this stuff!

This is the longest video on your channel right now🎉🎉🎉 You're going to do longer videos, shorter videos, or keep the video length the same in your next videos? Answer this question.
Anyways, yet another really great retro PC build video from you. The _"in this video"_ part at the beginning with the music was nice. I feel like I've learned more about retro PC building than from everything watching your video XD😂😂😂. You also look like you've informed yourself a lot about building a retro PC, so I appreciate this effort of you practically building it from scratch and showing us in this lengthy video!
I got taken back straight to childhood watching the retro PC working, the CD insertion and the Windows XP startup LOL. Grew up with this OS and such setups; remember everything so clearly, the entire setup, the Windows XP logo fading in, the beeps, the old HDD rattling sound, _"welcome",_ the desktop, the _"Your computer might be at risk"_ pop-up, the startup sound 🤣🎉 had lots of great memories using this OS in my entire childhood and it will always have a special place in my heart; before obviously switching to newer Windows versions.
The GTA III showcase and short playthrough at the end also was interesting! Overall an awesome retro PC lengthy video! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You state in the video that the board is a ECS P4VXASD2, but it's actually a ECS P4VXASD2+ v5.0, which has faster FSB, faster ATA, and 3 onboard USB headers instead of 2. The manual says you can't use DDR and SDR simultaneously, and you have all J2A/B/C/D and J3A/B/C/D connectors closed with jumper strips right next to the RAM and above the blue IDE connector, so DDR is enabled and SDR is disabled. I know because I have that same board. The BIOS shows 524288 KB, so it's only "seeing" the 2x 256MB DDR.

If you want, I can get you a good AGP card and send it to you.
I have an Ati 9550, I think it is cold solder welded, there are some defects in the image. But it works. If you can get it repaired, I can give it to you. Or I can get another one from the second-hand market and send it to you.

Hi. I'm not sure if I can repair the graphics card myself. My skills are not that high. Thanks 😊

You cannot use SD and DDR memories at same time. You can use one of them at same time.
I have this motherboard's red PCB one. This motherboard doesn't support USB 2.0, it support usb 1.1 only. I recommend purchase USB 2.0 PCI card and install it. USB 1.1 is too slow 🐢🐢

Haaaaaa
