whats the secret to catching an item after z-dropping it so you don't get an airdodge?

If ur talking about the footstool stuff its just: jump, jump+z (hold down to float), let go then press z again to re catch. There's no real secret, just good timing. I don't think it's possible without float unless ur doing zadc, which- that shit is impossible

I don't understand how you do the first combo.. is it a z drop? ora d toss?

Jump+Z drop at the same time. Hold down on control stick to get float drop. Z catch, wait til landing, turn around repeat. Hard to explain in text, so I'll make a tutorial soon
