So theres a difference to how turnip combos are usually done. I didn't know about Be Float, so thanks for the reference to that. I always saw these turnip combos and thought people just catch the turnips on the second down toss normally. Whenever I tried it 90% of the time I got an airdoge though. Now it all makes sense. Peach and Daisy are going places. Even though I don’t play Ultimate anymore and have switched to melee, I do believe Ultimate Peach is the best version of her now. Still has her crazy offense like in melee, but is more healthy I wanna say compared to melee all around
Idk if either version is healthy. This shit feels like ass to get hit by. Granted I also just think the two are very different characters. Melee Peach is a lot tankier than Ult Peach
I wouldn't say I'm a very technical peach but I have my stuff down like jcff shjcff fc and turnip cancels and I would say this is by far the hardest tech for peach

Hey all… I found that simply keeping my thumb on the c stick instead of flicking it twice has increased my accuracy nearly to 100%. I know if I practice some more with this method I probably won’t miss anymore. I also have my left bumper to grab and use that for air dodging. I tried using y button, but it is just not good for trying to get different directions like left, right, or up. You also won’t be able to keep your thumb on the c stick that way, which is what increased my accuracy. Also, more of a mentality thing, I like to think of the c stick throw as the action, and the air doge is something you need to do just before to “activate” it. Instead of thinking “air dodge then c stick”.
Ok so, the ftoss adc dtoss and adc double dtoss is easy-peasy-daisy-peachy for me, but zdrop adc i just can't seem to get the hang of. Have any tips, control recommendations, timing techniques. I've only managed to get it a few times in training, like i'd say 1/15 times. Here's my controls just in case: ZL = Shield ZR = Jump L = Special (for b reversing and wavebouncing) R = Grab X = Jump Y = Grab (Used to be jump as well but ever since this tech came out i find zdrop adc to be a bit easier with y also as grab) B = Special A = Attack
prince peach! for z-adc i strongly recommend setting y to shield, with a trigger for grab and a trigger for jump. this is the scheme i use, and i tap both triggers for the jump + z-drop, then roll my thumb from y to c-stick down extremely quickly. shield for adc is more consistent than grab, even for z-adc
Hey, im having trouble getting the z-catch between the ADC tosses, for example in the last ROB combo i can never manage to combo after the Z-catch, or I airdodge and dont even catch the turnip. Is there a specific way you need to jump to get it?
No specific way to jump. If you're going for F-toss ADC, then- SH F-toss > (buffer) Shield (let go) > D-toss. The timing is super strict and unlike be float the timing is the same everytime you do ADC. For example, you can do be float wait a second, and then F-toss. But you can do it frame perfect as well. ADC has to be done perfect everytime. Try looking at the "troubleshooting" section in the video, but I would attempt the D-toss variant cause it's easiest
For the combos where you do toss - adc - then jump z catch into another loop. Idk why but that in between timing confuses me so much. Is it jump and z catch at the same time or jump first then z catch?
I'm confused do we z-catch or press shield (0:25) to catch the turnip??? That's what I don't get from this video I kinda manage to do it with z-catch but that's how I've always done it
@@atiki8063 when I shield I automatically airdodge, I grab the turnip yes but I get into the airdodge animation and can't d-toss the turnip before touching the ground (I play on a gamecube controller even though I don't think it makes any difference)
@aight8208 ik this a late ass response but if you still don't know: this input has very fast timing. If you hold shield for too long then you'll end up doing air dodge down I'm pretty sure. And if you press down too soon you'll get dair. It's this very specific timing right as you let go of shield. It should cancel your air dodge and toss. If you have more problems with this hmu on discord Atiki#8729. And no it doesn't matter what controller you do it on, I assume it's easier on pro but I use GC

If ur getting airdodge down then you aren't letting go of shield before pressing c stick. If you get regular airdodge then you aren't pressing c stick fast enough. And if ur getting dair I think it's either c stick being pressed before shield, or them being pressed too fast. Buffering is a big factor. Having to let go of shield as quick as possible is a big factor. Adc is hard asf to learn at first
@@isayahjenkins8922 You're about to become that much better, i reached Elite Smash with Ganon just putting Tilt on C-Stick, Shield on X, Grabs on all triggers, so you KNOW when you hit any of them it's gonna do what you want it to do no matter the pressure haha

And I've been doing it this way the entire time. Does this mean ive been doing it wrong (in context of how other peach players do it) and have been doing ADC the entire time not knowing that its an undiscovered tech????
Nope. Regular z catch is really laggy, and doesn't have as much combo potential as be float/ADC. Z catch is the slowest, be float is the second fastest, and ADC is the new fastest way to catch and toss

for people trying to connect adc out of forward toss, you need to hold forward and delay the shield input. hope this helps
