The Shadows and the Vorlons both wanted the younger races to advance, but both had differing ideas of how to achieve this. The Shadows believed advancement would come from hardship and war that would drive technological advances, the Vorlons throught spiritual advancement and enlightenment were the way for the younger races to precede.

Yep it's all bollox now except for the CGI. I got bored of it years ago, shit writing mostly, dialogue and story. Too much must tick the boxes for disabled gay coloured overweight dwarven characters.

Very Nice.. I played the table top minis game in the day. The sequence with the star station I would have had the station split into 5 sections and I would have had the War Cruisers use their aft firing neutron lasers.....

I gave up on modern sci Fi and fantasy. It truly is written by idiots for idiots. Or I play the ' how many plot holes can I find' game while watching. To be raised on twilight zone and TOS reruns and get a TNG and DS9 as a teen,. I now know how good I had it!

Wow dude, this is very cool. I still have all the seasons series and movies, greatest Sci-Fi series ever made. I have the series in a remastered 1080p DTS version, a think a guy from my country (Holland) remastered them, took him ages, distortion is mostly gone, way better than the orginal DVS standard, upgraded DTS sound. But what you are showing beats it by a long shot :-) , keep up the fantastic work !

Even BSG as good as it was, was tampered with far too much for my liking. CGI was good, but too much handicam spoiled it.
Please bring back B5 and let us see the true power of the shadows that never pilot their own ships and we never got to see the really massive ones like the 3000km plus shadow ships

at the beginning i am very confused becuase i saw a minbari cruiser and i was like oh yeah i know that from babylon 5 but then another jump point opened and some whitestar looking cruisers came out and i thought that, that was just a whitestar but then i saw a whitestar next to the cruiser so can anyone explain what ships those were ?
I heard that some of the original sound effect files were lost a long time ago. Redoing those effects from scratch is probably a lot harder than it sounds.
When the show was on at the time, their was a moment that I thought that the only way to defeat the shadows is to have a power source bigger than the shadows, however eventhow the planet below and the station somehow it didn't work, a wild thought get all 6 Babylon station get them together and defeat the shadows, and then that didn't work, you have enough material to make a new movie based on the original series 👍try something good..
This is the first I've heard of the cancellation, but it is probably for the best. A reboot would most likely have destroyed the legacy of the original show, and I honestly don't think JMS could have protected the spirit of the series from the woke brigade running Hollywood. (It doesn't help that JMS is pretty far left himself.)

Latest I heard on the fate of B5 reboot or continuation was it's being looked at by HBO-MAX, after being looked at by the CW, and then dropped ultimately. 😳 Personally I'd prefer a continuation versus a reboot ; they're are so many things to look at Vorlons, The Narns, Centauri , Shadows, Tech-Mages, and so much more ! There was a PC game in development and that got canceled 😞; actors and actresses in the series wanted payment for their characters and voices used, and the creator of the series had some disagreements as well ! So we shall see what happens to my favorite series ; a reboot will need new actors and actresses to replace 🤔 members who've passed away, and that may be difficult to find 🤔.

Like that even with all the new White Star tech, fighters, destroyers etc, it still takes a hell of a lot of effort to bring down a Shadow vessel.
In the series, the Shadows and Vorlons pass beyond the rim. It astonishes me that they are still here.

The television series reboot is dead. The television network was bought by another network and a lot of shows and projects were cancelled.
Good, I don't want a reboot b/c it just won't be the same. It wasn't the FX that made the show [it helped at the time], it was the cast & story.
