Honestly, take the current Speed 1000 2cyl 300hp and add another cylinder, 1500cc 3cyl & 450hp sounds spicy ! Later on down the road when needed, add another cyl for 2000cc & 600hp..... Let the chassis & geometry set you apart from the others.

Maybe you should deliver the car you promised your customers 3 years ago and the backlog of current orders before you promise the moon. Polaris and Can Am are upgrading yes but that innovation. I'd buy a Speed car if I could but it's still 1.5 years out whereas I can go today and buy that 2.0 L your gripping about. Your issue should be with sanctioning bodies not the manufacturers.

This feels like you're more upset at your decision for a 2 cylinder than it has anything to do with Polaris or Canam. @@RecreationCertified look into Valknut fabrication. Last I checked it was around 70k. The parts look bulletproof, and you're looking at ~30 in inches of wheel travel.
You might as well make them to order from your shop cause they are not gunna sell very well. Unless you can make them the same price cause you didnt have to develop an engine.
