@@Kiruyaa look I won't tell you whether you should or shouldn't buy the 3300x but if you check other videos (LinusTechTips, Scatter Volt etc) you ll see them in detail and in some videos compared with the 3600 and the 1600af(it's on the latest video of scatter volt I definitely suggest you check it out) In a nutshell the 3100 performs like a 1600 af and the 3300x like a 3600....the only difference is that the 3600 has 2 more cores but somehow the 3300x outperforms it even so.... Amd is doing some crazy things and I love it
Αλέξανδρος Κουρμανοπουλος given the fact that...1600AF is a $85 cpu, 3100 is a $99 vs 3300x is a $129. I still suggest 1600af is a better buy if you found it instock for retail price. A couple frame lost in gaming isn’t a big deal since you can pair 1600AF with rtx 2060super with no hickup or even with rtx 2080s/ti while 7700k couldn’t hold up to. 2c/4t may be not that huge in gaming but it trade for a greater performance in reality task.

My R3 3300X gets 80-90 while playing games on stock cooler. Also, changed the thermal paste and remounted still the same. Never had this issue from my i5 6400 same stock cooler and same build.
This cpu gpu combo is a beaaast. My gtx 1660 s is bottlenecked by my r3 3200g, so im looking to upgrade. This my ideal cpu gpu combo, im also recommending this to my friends that are looking to buy a custom pc too.
Good budget build but at 750$ I think a case with at least 2-3 fans can be included or at least a mesh front panel and 2 fans included. You are using the stock cooler while it is ok for the CPU, for more intensive and prolonged tasks it won't be able to hold those boost clocks for very long.

Built a very similar pc to this using the Aerocool Rift case and a MSI B550 Mortar Motherboard. Your video was amazingly helpful in the build, the first pc I've built for 25+ years! The only bit missing was how exactly to wire up the case RGB led lights. Any tips please?

You should apply the cooler by screwing in the screws on opposite diagonals.
