- I’ve been reworking the design on this rack pulley attachment. Lots of requests to make it removable and to include a 2x3 version. Here you go! I made a version to fit my @fringesport power rack with 2x3 uprights. It’ll probably be a few weeks until the full video tutorial is ready but for those who can’t wait, here are some of the details:
1. The cable needs to be connected to the dowel holding the weights, this takes most of the pressure off the box.
2. I used 16 small fixed rubber coated casters instead of rollers, these are not weight bearing and do not need to be robust. They are inexpensive, smooth and do not scratch up the rack.
3. I will be reinforcing high stress areas with steel plates, that being said, I wouldn’t recommend going heavier than 50 pounds with this. For people interested in going heavy with this type of pulley, check out @bridgebuilt @buffalobullyfab and @timeundertension
