Morning Dean, another good and informative video again pal, keep them coming, look forward to part two how you sorted all the wiring out..think your board would be an insulated plaster board pal..see you soon..
Hi Dean, good job there mounting the 65" Tv. It's a nightmare when you cant find a batten to screw in to and your hopping the anchors will hold the weight of the Tv. I know you used No Nails and its good stuff, but now you found a cross batten I would have but 2 or 3 screws in to the batten for peace of mind just my thought. Great job as always, catch you soon Take care
Good advice Shaun.....as I watched this back after I'd uploaded the video I thought exactly the same thing.... I will do just that. Weird thing is I expected to hit a stud when I was drilling all of those hole because my understanding is they are every 600mm .....unless I'm wrong about that. Thanks for watching
Thinking about it again shaun i wont be able to, Its a bit weird to be honest, Im not sure if you can make it out on the video but ive got the initial piece of plaster board that i attached my plywood to then theres a void of about 20mm to another piece of plaster board, Then the wood we are talking about. Im not sure if its done this way because the stairs are there or for some other reason. Regarding the 60cm center to the studs, thats what i thought, The hole i cut was 70cm so i thought i would definatly hit a vertical stud but i couldnt find one.

@@dodgydino62 You should be fine Dean, with the anchors and no nails, modern tvs are not as heavy as they use to be
