    Hi Dean a great job done well as for the cuts it’s a good job you had a bit to play with. Like your good self I’ve done cuts put them together and can never understand why I’ve been out by 1mm on the square test will get in touch soon to repay the visit

      To be fair Phil, the width i could always play with and i had them cut at 300 so i could get 4 pieces out of an 8x4 sheet....so 5mm either way wasnt an issue....i just wanted them all the same. I should have known better because its happened to me before.

    Hello, complete DIY novice here hoping to achieve a similar look with the PAX wardrobes. May I ask what tool you used to cut out the space for the vents and where did you buy the vent plates? Good to know you left a 20mm void on the back. I’m hoping to fit an L shape wardrobe where one side of the wardrobe won’t be flush against a wall (the door is next to it) Any recommendations on how to make the skirting board (where the wardrobe ends) work with a 20mm void?

    • @dodgydino62
      @dodgydino62 7 днів тому

      The tool i used is called a multi-tool...and the vents were brought from screwfix. If I understand correctly about the skirting board ... you could butt it up to the skirting then put a trim from top to bottom to hide the void.....hope thus makes sense.

    Hi Dean, good job there mounting the 65" Tv. It's a nightmare when you cant find a batten to screw in to and your hopping the anchors will hold the weight of the Tv. I know you used No Nails and its good stuff, but now you found a cross batten I would have but 2 or 3 screws in to the batten for peace of mind just my thought. Great job as always, catch you soon Take care

      Thinking about it again shaun i wont be able to, Its a bit weird to be honest, Im not sure if you can make it out on the video but ive got the initial piece of plaster board that i attached my plywood to then theres a void of about 20mm to another piece of plaster board, Then the wood we are talking about. Im not sure if its done this way because the stairs are there or for some other reason. Regarding the 60cm center to the studs, thats what i thought, The hole i cut was 70cm so i thought i would definatly hit a vertical stud but i couldnt find one.

    You can work it out mathematically, the fuel dose is .02 ml, times 5.5 = .11 ml per sec, x 60 = 6.6ml per minute, divide 1000ml by 6.6ml = 151.5 mlnutes (2hrs 41.5minutes) Kerosene 1 ltr contains 10.350 kWs of energy, divid that by 151.5 = 2.51 gives heater rating of 4.115 kw At low setting 1.7 x .02ml x 60secs gives 2.04ml per min, divide 1ltr by 2.04 gives 490.2 minutes or 8 hrs 10 mins run time, now going to watch video and see how close the maths is.

      @IVAN-bs5bq yes I know all about the battery back up issues. I've mentioned this issue before in one of my videos so I know it can be a problem but I feel chances are very slim for the amount of time I actually use the heater...... I cant say I've had a single power cut in the last 10 years so chances of it happening when my heater is running is minimal..... If the worst did happen and it fried my motherboard I'd just buy another for about 20/30 quid so not life shattering.....it would cost me more for a battery. ill take my chances.

    If you buy the kit without the steel box and build your own box with an extended cable run to the head unit 14.2 volts is fine if you have an adjustable power supply, on the other hand we have a 5kw unit like yours running of a car battery with a 12volt car charger attached and it reads 14.2 volts.

      Yeah ive seen a few people extend the cables with no issues but its not something ive done myself.
