- We had no idea how sick our Highest Ollie Challenge was going to be when we invited the city’s top skaters to infamous Spot Bänke in the heart of Berlin.
The prize up for grabs? A cool $1000 courtesy of Dr. Denim!

You can imagine the hype with that much cash on the line. Stakes were high and the riders pushed themselves to the limit, finally clearing a tower of mind-blowing 19(!) boards to ollie over. Only seeing is believing!

What I always admired about skateboarding, is the implicit life lessons: if you fall, you stand up and try again, never surrender, pain is part of the journey, but you deal with it, and the reward awaits, it's not beating others, it's pushing your limits... and have fun.
Yeah, i did it as a teenager, it teaches persarverance and resillience (but clearly not when it comes to my spelling lol)
I spent hours every day for over a month straight trying to land wall rides. I just couldn't get it down & it was a mystery to me. I can't imagine the # of attempts it was. Will never forget it.
The fked up part of it is I got really good at them, me & a buddy were bombing this wall ramp at a sk8park full speed, hit my back on the ceiling & crashed down on my knee & to this day I still have knee issues from it. I moved on from wall rides after that.
