Man, I ain't never seen some of his tricks!!!! He's really himself. So rare in this world. Dude shreds!!!!!
Yes totally unique
He’s awesome ya own style been doing it for 40 years yep
Gives me inspiration to do my own thing ad well that's damn cool
Nothing original here. He 50, so he grew up watching videos like Public Domain or the Search for Fu Man Chu. Powell Perelta movies were loaded with street skaters that did alot of these tricks. You can tell he was influenced by Ray Barbee and Mike Vallely.
Original moves
Watching old guys who still skate is so heartening.
Yes ! But please don’t call him old , he is young as me
51 isn’t old. I know when you’re a kid even 30 seems old but if you look after yourself you can stay young until your 50’s this guy is fit healthy and still incorporates play into his life. We get old when we stop playing.
Japanese don’t really look old man
They are still look young
Hey now !
I am 54 , still skating. Now i skate with my two sons one late teens another in 30s. They get stoked when we head out as I am in a very small group of old dogs still rolling in our town.
Yes so glad to hear this stuff man 👌
Im 51 still ridin ..... since 1979 my uncle bring me my first board from usa... sk8 or die or die trying .... greetings from gemany ! stay blessed
I'm 57 and haven't skated in years. It hurts my knees to even read your post, but God bless you for still being out there doing it!
Im 97 years old, stil skatingg and fcking some girls. Now im skating with my grand² children and my grandchildren and my son too..
I am 90 yrs old. Now i skate with my 2 grandsons, both 65 yrs old. We are lazy folk, so we just pull off amateur tricks like some flat ground 900 laser flips, just the easy stuff.
I'm 51 and still learning no comply's.. I LOVE watching Dal's smooth style. Maybe I can aspire to that one day, too! :)
Yeah do it ! I like dal as well , it look so fun to skate like him
just learn them switch 180, easiest trick ins kateboarding...
so, you know that thing we skaters do when puttzing around waiting for our turn. where we kinda just kick the bottom of the board and pressure flip it.
doing those wierd little varial flips or impossibles just standing behind/next to the board.
find out which way you can do that easily. i do it with my front foot, so i do mine switch.
then just work on the clipping of the toe, the toe thing is easy when you think about it as a trick and not no comly.
so get your foot in the pocket where you would do stupid pressure shit. then put your other toe in the center of the board. but keep your front foots heel on the ground. but toe on the board.
now, pop the board, its like snapping your fingers. you need to create some pressure, then it goes snap crackle pop.
the 180 makes it really easy because all you do is stick your back foot in the pocket, and when you pop/scoop just follow the board around. and push. then step on the board
you just did a switch nocomply 180. its super steezy. and super eazy.
i learned it like 15+ years ago. i still cant do a normal nocomply. but i can switch 180 nocompy down stairs.
@@oartalk How have you got to the ripe old age of 48 and you still have this little understanding of biology?
get a shin pad lol
It is awesome to see when older people keep living life fully. Pops definitely thinks outside the box on his tricks and the lines he takes.
Yes really creative
I'm 36 and I'm barely learning to skate. Seeing this older gentleman still rocking it gives me hope to develop my skills as a skater.
Yes never to late ☺️
Same, I'm 33 😅
Everything he does is so smooth, it seems almost simple but then I replay it over and over it it's actually really difficult.
Yes he know the physic for sure 👌👌
Japanese skaters are simply the best. Their style is firm and precise. Watch the guy in the grey shirt. I am 47 and still skating as well 3-4 times a week.
Oh yes true legend right there ! Keep going 👌
More like a dance , lower risk of injury , he's having fun and staying spry which is all that matters . He also gets to wear cool clothes and not look old 🤘
Nice
The Japanese kid was spectacular!!!!!! Japan is crushing sk8boarding right now…
Yes i agree! So good that guy
@@Theskatenomad and you are wicked good as well :)
This was so dope. Love the skate culture in Japan. Dal has such a dope style. You could tell he's skated that first spot for years.
It was amazing to see a style not influenced by anyone in America.
@@dorjedriftwood2731 My city of San Francisco has the greatest skaters with the best "style" I've ever seen! ua-cam.com/video/zIkWDLHOD9w/v-deo.html Amazing really! ua-cam.com/video/2d6TBfIZzh0/v-deo.html
What a great guy! Very inspiring to see him having fun every minute of it. I couldn't stop smiling.
Glad you enjoy ☺️
Getting back into skating as I’m bout to turn 40. Not taking it so serious and just riding for fun has really made me feel like a kid again. Dude has me even more pumped to go get a sesh in!
Yeaaa bro get it 👌👌
His footwork is so unique and cool!
Also, I love seeing how skaters are still so supportive of each other no matter where you are in the world.
I totally agree!!
Really cool video! Love how his style developed mainly from his limitations to create something that is uniquely him. It’s like art. When the younger skaters incorporated some of his style it really added something special to the tricks that made them stand out. Subscribed!
I love Japan, it always feels so good to be there, the people are amazing!! This man's creativity and talent is awesome!
Yes thx for your input
older guy killing it.
extremely cool and fantastic to see.
Yes he is the best
This man is the coolest person that has or will ever exist.
I agree
There is more joy and life in that guys eyes than in any adult I’ve seen for many years, and when I saw that it actually made me cry a little. How dead inside we have all become, all our dreams crushed into dust. What’s the one dream, we have left? To make a bunch of money with some bullshit. That’s our best idea of living. What have we become. We are drifting further away from humanity.
You are absolutely right 🙏🙏
The entire vid is sick as hell (mad respect for this old dude) but at 5:43 can we appreciate how clean that BS tail to shuv was
Thanks for appreciate it man
that dude is such an inspiration!
Yes !!
Badass ..the Elder One nailed it....slick tricks. The smoothest is orange shirt .....black pants. Lol...yeah dude..this vid rocks
Oh thank you 👌 I’m the orange shirt 😄
hes a literal living legend!
Yes he is
I really love their unique tricks. Ive never seen someone drop in sideways like that!
Same man
I truly admire how such an experienced elderly person can execute such a risky trick. Amidst the inclination towards caution and safety that often accompanies advancing age, witnessing such bold actions is truly astonishing. I express my sincere respect for their courage and adventurous spirit.
Absolutely! Thx for supporting
Japan skaters seem so awesome tricks I’ve never seen before !
Yess always something new 👌
I love the old man's style, absolute banger!
Yes indeed
@@Theskatenomad Not saying yours isn't good bro haha don't take it the wrong way, you're an excellent skater. It's just that dude has that main character energy, you know.
I'm 60 yo, the last time I skated was over 15 years ago; I fell and broke my elbow.
Mad props to this guy, I still dream that I can skate and when I wake up I feel happy.
Can always skate our memories. Never to late to at least just cruise around 🙏
looks like so much fun! may not all speak the same language but you can all share the skating! ❤
Yes exactly 👌🇯🇵
RESPECT, EVERBODY COMES TOGETHER BECAUSE OF THE SAME PASSION
Yes that’s the beauty of it
Man the Japanese kids rio hard. They’re style is insane !!

I'm in my 40's and first started as a 10 yr old a older friend on my street taught me to skate its still in my heart I miss you Jason P one day when I go upstairs we will skate again.
Thx for sharing ❤️ rip jason
he looks 70, not 51......Interesting
Exactly my thought. He's like from those jokes: gradpa is not old, he is 27, just works in an ad agency
I wonder what he’s been through
It s because this was filmed 20 years ago
Yeah
Right
I love his old skool style. Very fluid.
Yes indeed
@@Theskatenomad Those slides he was dropping in with looked so cool.

That is the first time ive seem a no comply in the middle of a manual
Dude had alot of tricks dialed in
Bet he skates that park all the time true skate rat steeze
insane!
Oh yes ! That was crazy that trick first try to i think
👌
03:40 On first view i thought this looked a bit meh, then I realised he's staring right into the camera during the whole thing and never looks at the board or his feet once! Damn. Bravo sir.
Ahahaha yeah right. 😂 crazy guy
I would love to see him and Andy Anderson skate together. I bet they would inspire each other. Awesome video!
That would be cool! But now you are stuck with me ahah
Love this man,,,😊 his personal style...he have fun,
respect my man from southern Italy❤
Thanks for watching! 👌☺️
I’m Japanese and live in Japan for decades and lately I’ve been seeing middle aged skaters and surfers because the culture’s aging too but it’s so damn cool to see them making the world a little better with their teenage attitude. That’s something beautiful.
So cool!! I’m coming back in one month to make more video 😊
So many unique styles. Awesome video
Thanks a lot ☺️
If my dream of visiting Japan ever materializes, I need to shred with this guy. We're the same age too ✊✊✊💯
Call it a goal and it will manifest it 👌☺️ enjoy
This gives me hope. I'm 41 & just getting back on my decade old Chocolate board. 30 minutes and my legs dude...dead. But ima keep going. Ty for this video.

Yesss
Del is the boss
Yah man
Dude, this is awesome!!!!!!
Glad you like it! 👌👌
Keep up the good work mate@@Theskatenomad
Haha. Dig this vid. I'm 47 yrs old. Been skating 35+yrs. I see this fellow also utilizes the no-comply a lot. I use no-comply on street and transition. A no-comply to tailslide on a half-pipe brings the house down and leaves the youngsters scratching their heads. Right on. Does anyone remember Bill Orr? I think that was his name. He was rolling Pipeline and Upland in the 80's, in his 80's.
Oh yes great the hear you skate story ☺️👌🛹
Great stuff, 47 year old here, still at it :)
That's awesome! Never give up
Okay I'm actually making my way through this video now and this dude is truly showing creativity with his tool. So radical.
❤️❤️
