I started skating the same year Black Hole Sun came out(1994). I was 13 years old. I’ve been waiting 30 years for someone to put that song in a part. It was definitely worth the wait, thanks Chris.
Dont get me wrong - im a huge fan of Chris Joslin but besides the addition of pop shuvits his skating is just like it has been for the past 5-10 years. Go watch his True part. it is exactly the same (again, im a huge fan, so I dont mind at all).
Ran into Lazer many years ago he was flying with his dad and was just a little kid, I had my skateboard he had his so we started chatting, him and his dad were super cool, he gave me a little sticker of himself wish I could find it. Super cool support structure behind him glad to see him shining
10 years ago when Plan B True was released. Chris gave us a mind-blowing part. 10 years later, we are still getting us motivated to ride. Great ripping by both riders!
Lazer's 2nd last trick was it for me- how he flipped into fs board & then sat on it for a long slide down a big rail...& Joslin killed it, he is a machine & i love watching him huck...
This was such a pleasant surprise, the edit is reminiscent of the golden era of skateboard films and the song is not some cheap-ass no copyright indie garbage.
i remember watching lazer on camp woodward show. Now he's insane. Joslin's part was also insane. Love the mix. Also crazy that Lazer is skating to beautiful people. Awesome part.
I saw Soundgarden play at Big Day Out in Fremantle, western Australia in 1996 and they got banned from Australia for ten years for exceeding decibel levels and playing overtime but fantastic show
Joslins part was absolutely amazing. He has the best style I may have ever seen. His heelflips are going beserk and the part was filled with tricks that could have all been enders. Beautiful filming and editing. Black hole goes perfect. Live2Sk8 🤘
So good to see Joslin killing it, always a pleasure to watch. Lazer killed it too. Tha kickflip front board gave me huge Bastien in Sorry vibes. Had to go watch it again. Crazy how he did it 20+ years ago when he was just 16.
Man Lazer has a sick style, and a sick ass name, he wasn’t meant to do anything else, his skating is next level, plus happy to see him go pro, kid deserves it for sure, he has been putting in work for many years
this video brought me to tears, this is one of chris joslins best. seeing him still go this IN is really inspiring. man takes care of a whole family and just never stops ripping man. classic skateboarding. 32 years old and ive seen everything. amazing work!
Yeah. It shot me back straight to 94 and brought all kinds of memories swirling. Same year I started skating. Watching Joslin ripping to it was unbelievable.
Two powerhouses! Howling delivered despite high expectations, and Lazer surprised the hell out of me. His contest skating is impeccable, but his street skating is even better. Damn.
It’s amazing what good music can do for a skate video. This is my 4th time watching since yesterday. So much easier to stay hyped the whole time when it’s not some random garbage song they only used just cuz it was free.
This is skating, big ticks with big style with big risk. Glad to see these guys have guts. Been seeing to many parts with guys doing things that you would see on demo videos from a 15 year old wanting to get flowed. Keep it going
He's an absolute warrior The guy has been at it for so long, just throwing himself down huge stuff And he has a great tech game too - can't remember the name of the part, but he put out an insane technical part maybe 5-6 years ago along with his usual insanity EDIT: found it ua-cam.com/video/uq5x_Mp9qrs/v-deo.html
@@ythandlerandom1278LK yeah man and he’s been consistently doing it for 10+ years. His first parts with Etnies and Plan B back in 2014 were absolutely mind blowing
I don't think I've heard black hole sun since '94 when it was being endlessly played on mtv/radio. when this part kicked off it immediately transported me back to that time with a real intensity. Joslin's confidence and authority is incredible to witness. To see the marriage of the two is so special - I love to see the alchemy between well-selected music and the talents of someone like Joslin. Epic part.
Black hole sun was unexpectedly synched well with this...not my favorite song but he literally lands a trick, on beat, damn near the whole time... Kudos to the editor
Flip front board an 18 and back lib a 24. I still believe this kid is pretty underrated. It's one of the gnarliest parts i've seen in a very long time.
Was a hardcore skater from about 7 to 14 years old, and although i dont skate anymore other then a few kickflips here and there on my nephews board i still love watching competitions and videos. That being said good tunes and a good part go together like a good scotch and steak and this video got me mad stoked. That lazer dudes part reminds me of chris coles part in dying to live, absolute banger.
I'm stoked to see the pop shuvit making a comeback
Right! It is a great looking trick down something!
sickest float on that one
Popshoveshifty, pleaze
It’s a hard trick to do once you grow up because the board wants to over spin.
You cannot diss a steezy pop shuv
Forever a Joslin fan. Lazer fucking killed it. So sick!
💯💯💯💯💯

Love how Chris´s skateboarding has matured and aged like fine wine, very refined and curated style.

Wondering how many ppl are hearing these songs for the first time and had a whole new world just open up to them 🤔
They definitely missed out on the 90's, these songs were everywhere.
havent heard that marilyn manson song in like 15 years lol brought back some memories.
I’ve heard these songs a million times lol anyone with basic rock radio stations has
Think most people know them just from rock radio. Love both bands. So sick to hear them on here
You just described my situation 😂
Soundgarden, Marilyn Manson & Beastie Boys! It’s like the sound track to my teens and I’m here for it.
They know their ageing market well
i feel yah bro!! was pleasantly surprised to here these jams!!! chuuuuur breather!!!
Haha me too man
How skateboard should of always stayed.😅, the skating and the tunes couldn’t of been better.
Marilyn Manson was a perfect song choice took the part to the next level so sick
Never thought that "Black Hole sun" would be in a skate video until today
Why not just assume that anything is possible? Any song could be anywhere 🫨
Odd choice of song for a skate video in my opinion.
shits been used like 12 times, calm down
@@sandhanitizer15overplayed stock ass music. Rusty cage woulda been way better. Even a live version.
Manson?
Joslins One of the greatest gap skaters of our generation…and casually shreds contests…legend
Love seeing individual parts to entire songs.
They did edit down Black Hole Sun, but it was pretty close. 😉
Music was awesome !! Joslin is still killing it !!
The slide on the kickflip front board was a thing of beauty
You mean with one foot on the nose and the other SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING BOARD?!?! That shit was insane. I can't hate.

I don't think they do that but lemme hit your wood bro pause

I love hearing actual songs in skate parts again. Big name hits at that! The soundtrack used to be one of the best parts of a skate video
Such a solid duo of riders together with some sick tracks and filming ! So so good.
