Beginners guide to Dremel Collets

Our brand new dremel 3000 kit did not come with Collet AND none of the shafts fit thru the hole on the collet nut.
What the heck?
Guess we are going back to Ace Hdwe.
Okay. Collet jammed up into collet nut so with it now loosened shank fits.
Glad I took another look at it.

Got it, rings for each 16th of an inch, not how to identify the size of the shaft of the burrs?

Found Collet, it was jammed up into collet nut so tight no tool shank would fit. Once I got it unjammed all was good.
(Wife was “helping”, so that’s my excuse…..)

I want to know the diameter of the collet to fit into the Dremel. I think it’s 4.3 mm, but not sure. Do you know? ( in mm please)

Yes it's 4.3 mm just measured it.

Yes that's correct. 1/8 is the most common burr shaft.
