Picking and Preserving Grapefruit for Grapefruit Tea

- Winter is grapefruit season, so I picked some grapefruit from the tree to preserve in sugar for grapefruit tea. Enjoy grapefruit tea, grapefruitade, grapefruit oolong tea, and other drinks for a long time by preserving the fruit at its peak ripeness.

Wow this quality
Sundai Love thank you!
It should be popular! That video is AWESOME
This is beautiful, and much more than a tutorial. I just bought some grapefruit for marmelade, and the greengrocer talked me into buying way more than I had planned, but for a a crazy low price. You provided the inspiration I needed!
It must have taken a lot of time and effort. The quality is really amazing. Keep up the hard work!
Love the production quality of your videos, hope to see lots more :)

쉬는날 집에서 만들어 보고~싶어요🍹
감사합니다 😊
I have 4 grapefruit trees, however our grapefruits are orange. This was super helpful as a lot of people do not eat or like grapefruit in my inner circle. From now on I am going to make grapefruit green tea.
This channel is so underrated, I love the beautiful and relaxing vibe

You got some skills. You making anymore videos?
Me encanta tu video hare la receta y quedará deliciosa grasias a y me gusta tu cocina y tu árbol de toronjas
The bitter white parts are where the real magic lays
Aahhhhh
Thanks for the tutorial on grapefruit drinks!
Btw the colour editing makes the video look really dark and it's hard to see, hope you find a brighter filter preset for future videos
Amazing video! Definitely trying this. Question:
How long can we store it for and does it need to be refrigerated or is it shelf stable?
Thanks for this video :)
Because of the water content it should be refrigerated
This was very calming to watch!
Do you ferment the syrup at room temp or in the fridge before using?
In the fridge
🤤🤤🤤
Hope u make it to M subs
I just made this but instead of rock sugar i used honey. After 2 weeks, green and white mold started growing on the top layer when i refrigerate it... May I know why this happen
Honey contains water. Sugar does not contain water. You need a high % of sugar to prevent mold, so if you use honey, the sugar % will be too low.
Do you leave it at room temp or in the fridge for 2 weeks?
Refrigerator!
Do we need to put in the refrigerator for two weeks?
Keeping in the refrigerator will help prevent mold. Use clean utensils when scooping out as well.
how long does this last without spoiling?
Several months as long as you use clean utensils
Can i put it in the fridge to preserve
Yes!
Can I use honey rock sugar ?
Yes, any sugar will work
Why do you have to cut it into segments? It seems like a lot of work.
Hello, just wondering how this detoxes when sugar is used as a preservative? I am understanding sugar to be bad and not sure how healthy this is... Could someone please help me understand more?
It's a drink not a detox treatment.
