Congratulations on your transitioning journey! I honestly have so much respect for those who choose to go natural! Your curls will definitely change. Your new growth is 100% healthy, whereas your ends have been slightly damaged from heat or chemical styling. It will take some time to be 100% healthy but the journey is soooo worth it. My tips - deep condition religiously. I do a treatment on my hair once a week, rain or shine, to keep my hair hydrated. Take your vitamins. You'll notice a huge change in your hair if you start taking multi vitamins regularly! Exercise regularly - and not just going to the gym or running on a treadmill. Go for a walk, dance, or do simple at home workouts. Working out/being active increases blood flow, which helps stimulate the hair follicle and increases hair growth! ❤️❤️❤️

I don't cut my hair myself, my hair is cut by my stylist! I ask for a straight across cut, with long layers! If you check out my Salon Experience video, you can see how she cuts my hair :)

I have a tutorial on how a blow dry my hair straight! I don't usually straighten my hair, unless I am getting a haircut or am wearing it sleek straight. I think what really prevents my hair from heat damage, is the fact that I do regular deep conditioning treatments to restore any moisture lost from styling! As long as my curls are hydrated they are happy! Lol

No problem! I would suggest warming up a little bit of the coconut oil with the water, at the same time. That way it won't solidify when the added to cooler water. Also, use a very small amount of coconut oil, so it doesn't make your hair feel too greasy afterwards!

It is bad to wash it every day, because it strips the hair of the natural oils needed to keep your hair moisturized!

Using a pic to fluff up your hair helps add volume without using a diffuser. Also I only detangle my hair when it is freshly washed and still wet!

You can, I just suggest scrunching them to help reactivate the products in your hair, and reshape them, cause they often lose shape after a few days!
