Discovered this song during a low point of my life and found the lyrics eerily relatable. Besides Laufey's great songwriting, I was really impressed with Iain Farrington's moving orchestral arrangement. In their hands, the innocuous ii-V-I-VI becomes something really special, with chord extensions/alterations in just the right places for emotional effect (like "I will stop falling in love with you" in the very last verse, chills, literal chills), buttressed by haunting countermelodies from the horns and winds. Made this cover during a pity party, so it doesn't capture the majesty of the orchestral arrangement and there are wrong notes/chords/intonation everywhere... probably not going to make sheet music for this because I'm not happy with my arranging and playing, but it helped me get a greater appreciation for the song.

Discovered this song accidentally when he broken up with me the day I was in a hospital. He choose that day to broke up even he knew I’m in my lowest point. Little did I know now I’m just becoming more numb and don’t wanna experience this kind of love anymore
