  • Come along as we set out to film and photograph Lake State Railway trains out of Pinconning, Michigan.
Joining me on this excursion is John Fry, of John_Fry_Images. Watch till the end to see some of John’s beautiful photography from the ground and from the sky during this outing.
The first train we photograph is LSRC, train 304, the Pinconning to Grayling turn running northwest on the Mackinac Subdivision. Train 304 is powered by a slug set, which includes the last DT&I GP35, pulling a generous 29-car train.
Next up, we head 20 minutes east to catch a modest 20-car train 327A at the rifle River, then follow 327 northeast along the Huron Subdivision to its destination in Tawas, Michigan.
If you enjoy John’s photography, give his socials a look at John_Fry_images on UA-cam, Instagram, Facebook, and his absolutely KILLER collection on Flickr.
