2023 as well!
2024 as well!
This music was composed 300 years ago and stil is Hit. So Beautiful ! I love it. ❤
Oh God, that G minor flute melody is killing me... 😭😭😭💔💔💔 too beautiful for this world. Feels like my heart is cut in two.
I feel like I've been transported back into the 18th century...love it!
Majestic, proud, graceful, elegant, educated, slim, musical, and above all, beautiful.
Beautiful, just beautiful
This is the most elegant dancing I've ever seen. It's a shame it's not done more often in the modern world.
jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajjajajajajajajajajjajajajajajajajajajajajajajajjajajajajajjajajajajajajajajjajajajjajajajajjajajaja
It would be wonderful if we can convince many people to revive this style cause it is so beautiful and important in western classical music. I especially want to revive classical music to a baroque style cause I'll be a composers in college
Tyler Rodriguez
I'm glad there are people like you around, Tyler, who like classical/baroque music and wish to be a composer. Without
people like yourself I'm afraid classical music may disappear in 100 years or so. What a tragedy that would be!
Well, I'll do my best. Perhaps college can help me begin a new movement of new classical music, in which I can help teach it to everyone, including people who haven't embraced this genre.
This, I believe, is the best example of a Minuet and Gigue I've seen danced in an authentic setting. I've seen instructional videos on the specific dance figures, but never anything so beautifully and faithfully executed. The costumes are wonderful...heck, even the orchestra is in costume, playing period instruments and using period technique. Rapture!
Old dresses and costumes.... And it's music... Great.
Plus authentic 18th Century period instruments
It's all beautiful: the dresses, the music and the dance.
Beautiful! There are still plenty of us around who do this kind of dancing.
😍😍 so elegant, the lady looks like she is floating
I love this elegance and beauty.
That's wonderful! So graceful. An insight into my favorite period of music, art, architecture, and customs. Thank you so much for posting!
Such beautiful costumes. I kind of wish this fashion would come back into style.
So do I! All I can do is draw and paint people wearing them, which makes me long all the more that these old fashions would be revived.
Brings back the good old days 40s; 50s and 60s!! Thanks for posting!!
I agree
You do mean 1740's, 50's & 60's yes?
Aside from seing this a few steps of this type of dance in the movies, this is the first time I've seen baroque dance in costume. It's almost ballet. Quite beautiful, like everything else in the baroque. Händel sure could write a song or two! Working on these pieces right now. Easy, wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing this video.
Really beautiful! I wanted to dance with them! ♥
Wonderful i found this dance while reading Victor Hugos' The man who laughs great novel.
Handel was a far ahead of his time, and when you see this ,it confirms that..Greetings from Ireland
Simplemente, hermoso, maravilloso y sublime. Gracias por compartir tanta belleza musical!!!
I love this music
Those where the days my friend...those where the days !!
¡Tanta belleza!¡Tanta elegancia!
Endless grace...
Wonderful minuet, beautiful dance and video, unrepeatable!!!💖💫
So so beautiful!!!
So many baroque masterpieces on this channel I would love to see the entire film from where those clips are extracted.
Beautiful, Fantastic and Outstanding!!! :-)
Thank You :-)
wonderfull, today I can judge that. But in my new school in Hamburg, in a girls gymnasium, we had to dance the menuett, and very unfortunately I as a 11 year old girl had to dance the male part, I was tall. But very unhappy. 1966.
Too beautiful!!! ;) Thanks for sharing!
What a great breath to listen such a wonderful music and to see the calmness movements of the dancers!
The music have not prefferences of classes, is beautyfull!!!
The quality of the video is still superb after 300 years. 😆😆
Woa it’s so elegant and it makes me calm🤗
Such beautiful costumes. I kind of wish this fashion would come back into style.
We'd have to widen the doorways in most buildings, so no thanks XD.
Retro unleashed. Wouldn't fancy taking my driving test dressed in that clobber.
Me too!!!
@@MrRQBQ What do you mean? 'Driving' a horse wouldn't be too hard in that
No thank you I rather keep my ability to breathe and eat.
Oh man - I've been looking for this everywhere... had the whole suite on video as a kid... great post
Красота!!! beautifully!!!
Splendida musica e meravigliosi interpreti. Quanto all'élite...

Bravi e bellissimi!
I was taken by their performance and lost myself in the music and time....
Wow....so graceful are these dancers.
They were all Professional Ballerinas before they took on this assignment! Unmatched skill & grace, possibly even better than it was performed back in its heyday.
Marvellous. Thank you!
I like this clip. I think the dancers had done a excellent work ****Moreover, the costumes are beautiful****Congratulations!!!!
They played this song 2 weeks ago during the daytime classical music program on 88.5 WFCR which is my local NPR station.
What a jewel! Thank you for the video!
WOW , that was lovely and I liked when the separated their hands.
Splendido,musica e interpreti
Oh my, this is beautiful.
thank you so much for uploading
Who else is doing their music hmk the night before?
Pring L meeee
Pring L yes I am lol
Me lmao
Me hahaha
We're all in a gang now nice job fellas
beautiful
Wonderful!!!
Listening to and playing Handel's Water Music remains one of the profound experiences of my life.. Thanks for the post... I hope this makes a comeback someday!
Very beautiful!
that is beautiful
Simplement magnifique
Bravissimi tutti ! Every 'period' performance company should see this, the product of the wonderful Belinda Quirey's years of work. It's not done over-night.
THANK YOU SIR!! PUT ON SOME MORE PLEASE!! THANKS!!
This is so great! Thanks
i love this type of danceing absolutly fabulous thanks for uploading it :)
Why don't people dance like this today? So much nicer than other stuff I see. XD
The dance wouldn't go with today's outfits or styles. People would tend to change it up & create modern variations 👎. If U also mean, why don't they dance like this & in clothes like that, is another story.
Thank you Sir!
Lovely music, dance and costumes. I had to learn the minuet in public school in Ohio. It actually is not difficult and artistic nuances are fine if you wish to add them. Greetings from Paris. Uprated, shared.
A lovely venue too: a striking Inigo Jones building in central London, with a fantastic ceiling painting by Rubens. Unique!
Belo vídeo, muito obrigada.
Water music, excelente sinfonía de Georg Friedrich Händel
Adorei tudo que esse pessoal apresentou. São bons!!! Demais!!!
Bellissime l'esecuzione e la coreografia!
More likely this was what dancing the menuet in the 18th century (1700's) was
like. So elegant! I love Handel's music.
I would agree, this is the closest we'll ever get to witnessing how it was back then, including the 18 piece Baroque Chamber Orchestra playing on Period Instruments.
Thanks !
Such a stirring music video. Truly an age of Class and Refined Style that now lost on this Generation
Amazingly performed.
Reality check: Somehow I doubt most of us "peasants" would ever be at or viewing such festivities, even back in the Day. This was reserved for the Elite Class.
Good !!!
Felicitaciones!!!.:)
Wonderfull - both music and dance! :) :)
Meravigliosi!
Esplêndido, Bravo,linda música muito nobre.
Very nice
