Incredible indeed, but I perhaps Bach would have been even more surprised. I think the composer/composers of the Hurrian Songs would probably experience some sort of nervous breakdown if he/she/they learned that the music is known and played 3500 years later.

Mozart's music lives within all of us. No matter if you don't appreciate classical music everyone knows the name MOZART. For us who enjoy Mozart's music, we always find a little piece of Heaven within our hearts. Mozart's gave us the greatest gift of all his poetry written within those ink strokes of pure and mystic beauty.

This day, forty years ago, "Amadeus" was officially released in the United States. Arguably one of the most beautiful movies ever made, "Amadeus" turned Mozart from a beloved composer into a pop super-star, and introduced his music to the masses like no other movie did to any musician in history. It also introduced Mozart's music to me, and ultimately changed my life forever.

Me impresionó mucho este film y el arte exquisito con que fué hecho, gracias L genio Milos Forman. Tengo el film en CD Y cada vez que lo veo lo disfruto como la primera vez.

    • @stevenhoopes5606

That Mozart was buried in a paupers grave is a myth born of misunderstanding burial practices of the time. He was buried as a man of his social standing was normally buried. At that time bodies WERE buried side by side but marked accordingly. Unfortunately, time muddied the situation and when an attempt was made to re-uinter his remains there were questions given the close quarters and deterioration. So they may or may not have the correct remains in the new spot.

I've no doubt F. Murray Abraham is a distinguished and well-respected actor, but I will never be able to watch this movie or any clip thereof and not think Tom Hulce was absolutely robbed of an Oscar. As for Mozart... as with so many of the composers of his and nearby times... genius is almost not kind enough to describe him. Even if I'm not educated enough to know the differences between opuses, symphonies and the like, I don't think there's a single piece of his music with which I haven't fallen in love. Must've been fascinating to live during that time and have such talent right in front of you and not recognize it enough to compensate him properly for the ages.

    • @andrewkapplin1138
      @andrewkapplin1138 Рік тому +23

I agree. But at the Oscars he did recognize Hulce saying that if it wasn’t for Hulce he would not have been able to play his part the way he did.
Remember, too, Abraham was in more of the movie than Hulce. I believe that contributed to his getting the Oscar and not Hulce.
It’s a shame that Mozart’s genius had to end the way it did. He was taken from us way too soon.

Because Mozart said: "God is always before my eyes. I measure his omnipotence and I fear his anger; but I also recognize his compassion and tenderness towards his creatures.
If only the whole world could feel the power of harmony."

You might not love anything Mozart composed, but he did redefine every instrument in the orchestra -- its sound, its capabilities, its harmonies... and better still... the noise it made when all went silent. Because this raucous noise he made explode out of everything from orchestra to a simple piano note... couldn't help but grab your brain and hear a universe it could never hear without him.

Love Mozart . But respectfully there is no objective " best" as it is subjective opinion. Perhaps Grove styled it fairly authoritively however; Mozart was the most universal of composers in that his genius occupied comprehensively all of the principal genres of the day. (Handel and Tchaikovsky might be considered other examples of their respective era's.)

This musical composition manages to sound melancholy and happy at the same time. It's not manic happiness but a lasting serenity punctuated by moments of quiet ecstasy. The song is probably inspired by German culture where people are typically reserved, which can be misread as glum. Actually the exact opposite is true: they're overjoyed to get people the f**k out of their faces.

Which reminds me, Mozart is a vampire who's still alive. I think he doesn't like Kate Middleton. I know how ghetto it is to e-harass someone while they're pregnant in hopes of indirectly marring their unborn child. Which is exactly why Mozart put me up to it. He has a diverse array of relatives whom are reliable for their respective roles in his plans.
