I found this song through Loudermilk. There are some great songs on that show, and this is one of them. Ben does such a great job with his character that I didn't realize he's an actual recording artist. I'm a new fan.

Just getting to this show... When the band came on I was like "damn this is some quality fake band music." LOVE that is the actor's band! Especially after having him in such a small goofy role for so long leading up to this awesome music reveal!
Ive also been watching Daisy Jones, which is more like guilty pleasure soap opera trash... Given the hype, the budget, and the musicians involved behind the scenes I keep being surprised and disappointed by how blah the original music is on that show is. Like where are hooks? How are these supposed to be hits? What is with these lyrics.

I have a friend named Jody Pate. He and his girlfriend/wife travel around the country in their van playing music. They call themselves JAMIE AND THE DREAMERS. I met Jody while we were locked up together at kind of an addiction rehab boot camp facility called SATF in attascocita TX just north of Houston, where we both lived. He is a musical genius. He plays an excellent guitar although his specialty is keyboard. And even though I've been around music all of my life and haven't met some really talented people, Jody stands out. He has a very Jerry Garcia vibe about him. HE AND THE BEN ROGERS BAND PLAYING TOGETHER WOULD BE A MATCH MADE IN MUSICAL HEAVEN. I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING FOR THESE TWO TO CONNECT AND AT LEAST GIVE IT A SHOT!!!

Also, if you haven’t seen Ron Livingston in the movie “Office Space” you need to watch that next. I noticed the red Swingline stapler from Office Space in an early Loudermilk episode.
Hearing this played by Rogers in the show and then continue over the credits of Loudermilk was quality television.

That's not his only appearance. He is a pretty regular character, especially in the first season.
Find the episode (I believe season 2) where he has Claire join their band and she's HORRIBLE. She is playing a tambourine to this song, and she's super loud and WAYYYY off beat just jiggling it around with one hand and waving a maraca in the other. He starts going into the chorus and she screams this off key "WOOO"!!??
