Your probably such a great boyfriend. I have bipolar and I tend to snap on the inside. I would hurt myself before trying to hurt anyone else. Mania is amazing for me I have high creativity and interact with people beautifully. But once depressed I have to literally bargain with my therapist to not be hospitalize me even though l know should go. My ex's mother made him break up with me because I'm bipolar I never acted out against her or her son. It's just that my ex's younger brother had bipolar and he's dangerous they got a restraining order against him and everything. When I think that bipolar isn't real I tend to not use my medication is directed which then proves that have bipolar. Thank you for speaking about this I feel like such a hypocrite on these dating apps. It's like I don't want to tell the person that I'm mentally ill because we have such a good time but it's not fair to them to keep that a secret.

While inspiring, I just cant see anyone dating me because who has the time. Like honestly, you could just date someone who isnt mentally ill and have a normal life. There isnt anything magical about me save for when I am in a hypomanic episode. It is just not worth the headache of dealing with someone like me. And I understand why people opt out of it, I totally get it.
