Many cultures have dances that on the surface resemble breakdance, and some of those dancemoves became part of breakdancing later on as many cultures went to the US. Think of Kossack dances from Ukraine and Russia. Many of the moves in those dances became part of breakdance. Fighting dances are a worldwide phenomenon. Just like how you can find stone monuments almost everywhere, dolmen as they are known. In my country those are called "Hunnebed" but you also find them in (North) Africa and parts of Asia, including Japan. Contact between people has always been a thing, it is foolish to think that just because they did not have trains or airplanes people never got anywhere.
