The footage is getting better....Well done Bloodhound LSR team!
Starting to LOOK like an attempt at a land speed record!
@White And Proud Just like the design for the first supersonic plane ;-) Bell X1
Roborav I don’t think it goes sideways much 😳
White And Proud - How’s that North American Eagle car coming along?
Like the footage from the drone and low camera. Well done guys, looking good !
Drone shot gave a real nice perspective on just how fast this thing already is moving at 500mph. Utterly mesmerising. Go team Bloodhound! Rooting for you all the way.
@@ferociousmullet9287 The camera shot when the supersonic shock wave hits the drone will be interesting to see. I can't believe this was 22 years ago with the same Andy Green in the hot seat. ua-cam.com/video/rIWdtE-__5M/v-deo.html
0:52 Meep Meep!
Kris A did you mean to say Beep Beep!!!
@@jidu3094 he really meant meep meep
Justin Charles is that an English slang for Beep Beep?
@@jidu3094 'Meep Meep' best represents the sound Road Runner (cartoon character) makes.
@@jidu3094 ever heard of roadrunner?
The crazy thing is at 1000mph... the fly by will be eerily "silent" until the sonic boom blows the speakers out half a second later...
10/10 Looking forward to it
Adonis Limes I wish that we could all be there. How amazing would that be?
Just play it at 2x ... amazing
About 700mph. The SSC already broke the sound barrier.
Just to think the full 1000mph runs is going to be 2x as fast as this.
hopefully we dont get a second jessi combs incident. 2 times a week i go and watch her hoonigan interview on their bonus channel.
stay safe to everyone involved. we dont need to lose more awesome people.
even if they fail to reach their goal. as long as the land speed record is broken then that will be a huge achievement and make me very happy to have seen it
BrannDailor The Bloodhound operation is way more professional and high end than what Jessi was doing.
But also, why even bring that up? They all know the risks.
Your math is wizard-like!
I thought the same thing.
Yes up in the air tumbling over, there is no chance that is going to happen 700 750 maybe 1000 no chance!!
There is one dislike, really. This is history being written as this car will break the record come next year. This was amazing footage of the latest run, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. It's been a long time coming, only Project Binky is taking longer but both well worth the wait.👍👍👍
Make the noise...
In 1988, Richard Noble hit 650 mph (633mph record run) with a similar spec engine
ua-cam.com/video/T-CiSqyK2H0/v-deo.html Thrust SSC needed two of them to beat the sound barrrier "only" 100mph faster.
Project Binky..ha ha have been waiting a very long time for that..too much tea
I've noticed this about the "dislikes" on popular videos. The dislikes are about 1%. I'm beginning to think UA-cam throws the 1% dislikes in so their algorithm doesn't recommend popular videos too much. Just my suspicion. 🤔
@@mbisson5816 you're over thinking this...some people are just miserable...
Whoah! That close drive by was incredible just gives a perfect perspective to see just how fast Bloodhound is travelling! That's like a jet fighter plane 'flypast' on the ground lol 😁⚠️
Well done Bloodhound team, what a fantastic achievement, chomping at the LSR.....😎👍⚠️
Always been proud to be British, this thing just makes me even more so. Great new camera angles, really get an idea of how damn fast they are already going! Played at 2x and it's mindblowing. Go for it lads! I know you're going to make it!
The rocket is Norwegian
finally the SOUND, and a drone shot! and I burst into laughing tears of excitement. Well done.
This feels like a proper milestone. Brilliant work by all the team. 👌👍
Amazing shots of an incredible project coming to fruition. Congratulations to all involved. Can't wait for the 1,000mph to be achieved
We mustn't forget Ian Warhurst - the man who made it possible for all of us to actually be able to have the chance to see Bloodhound LSR run 'in anger'
Spectacular ! Well done all of you.
Best filming yet, too
We are watching all your runs and we are really enjoy seeing what the support team is doing - excellent job so far. We wish you Good Luck to you all for your future success.
Congratulations team bloodhound car looks and sounds awesome , keep up the good work and I’m sure your smash andys present land speed record
I'm just about old enough to remember Donald Campbell in Bluebird K7 on Coniston Water and since those days, when I could still wear short trousers without ridicule, I have been fascinated by Land and Water Speed Records. I remember following Thrust SSC and watching it break the LSR in 1997. Heady stuff. Glad to see Bloodhound is back on track (literally and figuratively) and all kudos to these guys for pushing the envelope of technology to achieve greatness once again.
Thrust2 got the record 2days after my 9th birthday an has always been my favourite car of Nobel + Co's Thrust/ssc grg. This new1 reminds me of an RAF tornado minus wings. The SSC unveiling was such a wow moment with its ominous double intakes an dark paintjob, it's massive at twice the length n twice the weight of thrust2! Hope this new1 breaks the old 1s record an as always does it safely, 1000mph thou is🤯
Kudos to the attention to the theatrical aspects of the pursuit of 1,000mph. Everything from the different camera angles to the increasingly-urgent video updates. Good show!
My day is now complete! Fantastic footage! So far so good! And the delta strut joint held up ok I guess. Can't wait for the rocket to be fitted that's going to be enthralling! Good work guys! :)
There is a real buzz around the UTC today, very important milestones are being hit weekly - Go Bloodhound!!
I love that sound! Thanks for letting us enjoy it without any commentary. 🙏
Incredible project. So glad I went to see Bloodhound running at the Newquay Airport public day and to meet Andy Green and Richard Noble. At one point it seemed like it was all going to be for nothing so it makes me so happy to see it finally running at speed. I can't help but watch that static ground level shot over and over. Just spine tingling and awe inspiring!
Wow!!!! That was amazing to watch. Congratulations to you all!! Onwards and upwards chaps! Brilliant!!😃👍🏻💯
Hopefully there is no upwards ! 😲
Laz Arus Haha!😂😂 Onwards and straight forwards then!😉😆👍🏻👍🏻💯💯
been following since this project started.. loving how these updates are coming consistently with the new team👌🏽⚡️🚗💨
That looked fast. But I'm now trying to imagine what that would look like, at twice that speed.
just hit x2 replay speed
@@Stikkzz Thanks every day is a school day ;-)
x2 Wow !!!
@@blueferretman64 ^^
@@Stikkzz My very thought! For the curious, I did set my playback speed to 2x. Impressive at 1000 mph! Hahahaha!
Seriously though, well done to all involved. The land speed record is nearly in their grasp.
Fantastic guys 👍🇬🇧🏆. We wish you all the best from all over the UK.
No music, just pure sound?? PRAISE BLOODHOUND!
Awesome, another step in the journey! I remember the aerial photo showing the bow shockwave forming on front of Thrust SSC as it was about to break the sound barrier.
Half the way there, keep up the good work Bloodhound crew!......
I did, for the first time, what everyone else has suggested & watched this at 2x speed: Wow!!
Awesome, the drone and ground cam shots really add to viewing enjoyment. Now fix the cockpit view and it will be perfect. Just another 178 miles per hour and they can break the sound barrier !
This is a classy project indeed.
Won’t be long before the first sonic boom!
Great work team Bloodhound!
Can’t quite comprehend what 1000mph is going to look like, given that this is only half that speed!! 😲 This is getting mental lol
the shockwave forming as it approach mach 1 and then it suddenly vanishes after passing mach 1 will be a sight to see
Awesome work, the car is looking great
Not a car.
An airplane on the ground!
😂😂
One word... outstanding!
While I will always hold dear my 17 year old green Toyota Avensis...I have to admit this thing is rather satisfying...
Like the creative minds and passion that got it this far, the Bloodhound LSR is just mind-blowing... ffwwaaauugghhh!!!!
Gotta love the ground cam, awesome job fellas.
Best vid yet!!! WELL DONE. It's nice to see the subscribers increase as word gets out!!!
Best show on earth 👍 Great work guys you are half way there 👏
Booooooooooooommmmmmmmmm!!! Eat that all you doubters!!!!! Great British engineering at its very best. Total respect for everything you've achieved so far and will do in the future. Cannot wait to watch the rocket runs. Keep it rollin Bloohound LSR Team.....and great footage too.
Wow, the footage is getting better and better (and faster obvs 🙄) again love the ground cam 👌🏼 really pics up the sense of speed 😳 can't wait to see you pushing through the sound barrier in 4k footage hopefully 🙏🏼
That ground cam is AWESOME!
I would like to see the drone cam turn to follow the car as well.
Can't wait to see the sound barrier broken, then the steps up to 1000mph!
Love it! Best of luck to the team and Andy!
Great camera shots and well done to the whole team.
🎵🎵Whoa we're half way there🎶🎶
This is so awesome to see. I have watched all the videos of your test runs.
Fantastic video - you can sense and speed & power - great work by all involved.
Congratulations on 500 MPH , WELL DONE !
Watched it, then immediately watched it again!
Awesome stuff!! You have achieved your test objective of 500mph. You are just over half there and the way you doing these tests are really good to see. Keep up the good work and you will succeed! Great footage indeed! 👍👍
This is getting me more and more excited about Bloodhound LSR!!!
This was amazing and am looking forward to seeing more soon!!!
That is some serious engineering speed porn right there!!!!!!
FanTASTIC!! LOVE the aerial videos!! Just BRILLIANT!!!
Well done bloodhound and andy and the team
British Best ,thats all i can say being an engineer i can imagine hurdles all the way until the final straight, cant wait to see you start climbing up towards the 1000mph ,and the problems you will have to overcome .
Good Luck to you all
Looks class the different shots of Bloodhound, well done to the team and keep it going!!
Congratulations team!
Amazing, and the speed keeps building!
Great video work. This whole project is just plain awesome.
Luv these updates I'm stoked to see this baby go WFO soon!!!!
.Well done Bloodhound LSR team!
Half way, amazing work :-)
Congratulations!!
Good grief! Wow!!
That ground shot is badass! Well done all can't wait to see you hit your target!
wow congrats guys it looks spectacular
Wow... The noise!! That is simply epic!!
Keep going, i eagerly await each video update.
Crazy. Sharing this on 95octane. Congrats on the milestone!
This is an amazing moment, keep pushing forwards Team Bloodhound!
Turn up the sound as much as you can bare - brilliant!
BEST FOOTAGE EVER AT THE VERY END
WOW WOW!!
THAT'S PRETTY IMPRESSIVE 👌
Just awesome guys, well done.
Ask Richard Hammond if he would like to give it a go.
Go Bloodhound!! That SandCam shot is the best :-D
I like this white car more than the blue and orange
It looks stunning in white against the desert backdrop. It was the right decision.
Wow! Now that's some serious speed! What's next for the test program?
Keep it up, doing well for each target time!
That's another box ticked, keep up the good work.
Question, the car is currently without some of the aero pieces, wheel spats and horizontal control flaps, are we going to see them this year at all?
Wow, simply amazing! Saw part was slow motion?/ Sure didn't look slow. Love the perspective that is shown by camera at edge of course. Could we hear from Andy sometime soon his thoughts as he has been doing these progressive test runs?
Mach diamonds when the EJ200 hits full reheat at 0:24 are beautiful 😍
They are doing very good.
What fantastic footage and sounds.
Could you show us what the screens in the cockpit show? It'd also be great to have on screen inserts of stats like speed ect if possible, but it'd be great to have a few photos or videos of the screens so we can understand what information Andy has
That ground level "Fly-by", WOW!
Love the ground shot. great audio
that was visually stimulating......also had an eargasm
Incredible stuff it's all comin togeather.. twice that speed tho TWICE .. It looks comfortable at 500
This thing looks like it’s gonna go faster than 1000mph at the moment
When she says her parents aren’t home!!
As Andy's girlfriend once quipped when they were going for the sound-barrier and she was watching him help sweep up flood mess: 'He's handy round the house. He drives fast, but you can't be perfect.' He's still not perfect, and getting less and less so.
Please can I come out to film this!!! Its getting really exciting now!
Play at 2x speed and that’s what the 1000mph run will look like
Lol, done it
Minus the shockwave of course. Still insane to think about
Done it too...Wow!!. The day of the record attempt will be something to behold.
LMAO ! I think you'll find it clearly said 5X slow motion ! so times it by 10 !!
Out of sight of the camera a police officer taps on the windshield and ask "Do you know why I've stopped you, sir"?. "Going a little quick don't you think"?
The Brita may say they have the speed of sound record, but it was in fact Stan Barrett in the Budwieser rocket that went 740mph in 1979.
These guys finally figured out that all that drag in their record setting lsr having two gas turbines was inefficient as it gets, a milk truck could have been the record holder with all that power.
Now their following Craig Breedloves design, funny that, and they have funding galore even though they pretend not to, what the Queen wants, the Queen gets.
I don't want to be a jinx about this car , how Andy Green has kept it from rolling 80 times is a miracle
Wow.. that drone footage. 👍👍
in god we trust go go go go
basically put the youtube speed at x2 and you have what it will look like when they hit 1000mph
Great idea! Looked awesome.
Bloodhound lsr more reliable than a BMW running everyday for a start 😂😂😂😂
The aerial views are fantastic. Put the pedal to the metal and go for it?
Was interested hearing you on Radio 4 last night concerning adding the rocket motor too. I didn’t realise. Phew, that’ll be some ride.
Presumably there is uncut footage (of all sorts) that show the chutes coming out and the entire slow-down to a stop. I bet the delta's are going to need to be fabricated parallel to the car running to save turn-around time. But before stepping up to the next level with it I'd be a bit more comfortable if the car got a complete "AIRFRAME" going over with NDI equipment - This is history that we are seeing right now! But I for one very much want to see the original car on display in a museum when it's all done, not a replica.
~ and may the good Lord protect Andy Green, AMEN
