Some people are mistakenly under the impression that petroleum jelly (petrolatum) is the same as petroleum fuel. I even heard a beauty influencer on UA-cam, who should know better, say putting Vasaline or generic petroleum jelly (petrolatum) on your face was was awful...she likened it to gasoline! Wow! Anyone can Google it and find out how pure it is...NOT anything like raw petroleum. Thanks for all your tips!
While it maybe recommended for numerous topical applications. Petroleum jelly is 100% not eatable and furthermore. It's derived from petroleum hence the name and ergo you should not burn, inhale, or ingest this product. Propylene glycol ethers are locked within this jelly, and like all petroleum products. When burned or ingested. These compounds not only mimic the hormone estrogen and cause boys genitals to shrink and young women to develop at an early age, but they can completely change the sex of fish. Not to mention glycol ether penetrates cell walls and cause cancer. I suggest you just season your element like you would your grill outside. By using beef, pork, and chicken fat grease and salt. This is why most grill cleaning multi tools have wire brushes in combination with a scrub pad which will hold and lock in this burnt grease. Some people wash it out, however it's meant to hold in the burnt grease to season the grill grates and prevent sticking. Meanwhile it's beyond me why you would ever do this on a indoor stovetop? Many people may believe this old burnt grease and means of using such is hazardous to your health or otherwise unsafe, but that's why you heat the grill or cast iron pan before cooking.
I laughed out loud when she said that. Hard to believe that anyone would be that ignorant about petroleum jelly, but then again, so many still vote for Republicans LOL
Awesome I will absolutely do this on my stainless steel fridge!!! My stove is a glass top, so I won't do that 😁but I know how to shine it up doe sure... Oh and my sink is stainless 😊 oh and I said cotton ball too 😉
My dear, there are always some negativity about everything. They could have done the same thing you did to prove it wasn't dangerous. Does no one know anything, that EVERYTHING in MODERATION. Come on, everything isn't dangerous. Use common sense before you ask or criticize. Thanks Andrea Jean, we like ALL your tips.

@@tgitsmydad2156 i'd be more than happy to dee the scientific research
@@SheasBathLab just heard another UA-camr spout similar midonformation because she read "articles". Yikes!
I've seen stagers for real estate do this with vegetable cooking oil, but imo this seems much neater and cleaner.👍
I'm sure the Vaseline will help keep spills from sticking making clean up easier and I love that!
Thanks so much.😎
It also helps the popping frying oil from sticking on your stove
Use an air fryer to solve that problem. LOL !!
I will see if this works for burnt on areas since oil helps remove varnish like oils.
Great.
I’m going to try this on my stainless steel garbage can 👍🏼
Thank you so much 🇦🇺❤️
Hi! Do you have any cleaning tips for a black stove top? Some of the marks just don’t go away. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this tip! I tried it nad was very happy with the results.
Great!!!
Can this be used on stainless steel appliances? I have a hard time keeping mine clean.
You can't go wrong with it
How do I get the black tops like yours?
I am so doing this
Cotton ball....fire starter instead of the zip lighters
How does it work on cleaning an 'old fashioned' regular 'stick your head in a dirty oven' type oven?
