I remember seeing his paintings upside down as a kid and I fell in love with his bright bold colours and “lack of stuffiness”. They looked like action paintings, like the painter actually had fun painting them! I don’t know how to explain it haha. I didn’t really understand why they were upside down, but I didn’t care, I loved them! I love that people make proclamations about it, he has tongues wagging 😂
