This is May 25, 1964 at LAX. John & George are on their way back to London...having finished a vacation in Hawaii and Tahiti. Paul & Ringo went to the Virgin Island during the same time period.
This girl was interviewed the day before by CBS News in Bel-Air where the Beatles were staying. Apparently the reporter got the idea to take her to LAX the next day. She can be found on "Beatles in Los Angeles, 1964 - Part 1", elsewhere on UA-cam.
yeah, sounds like a joke ... once you listen to enough interviews with them you start to get used to the tone John used when he was messing around with one of the others :)
I read a letter from 1966, which was published in a newspaper just a day after George's wedding with Patti...A fan wrote it directly to George saying how much she still loved George and his marriage won't change anything but she was hurt broken and feeling empty inside. It was an elaborated letter, she finished it with "I love you George Harrison".... I saved the pic of it from Tumblr and sometimes read it. I would probably write something similar if I were from that era. It's definitely one of the best love letters in the history....
Even today, in the year 2002, the Beatles are just as charismatic and charming along with a huge sense of mystery behind them. We are still talking about them. Is it any wonder? Just watch the video. And this is only George. Wait until you meet the other three.

There's a video on YT where some girls were waiting at airport lounge to greet The Beatles; when George entered the room, two girls almost jumped off to kiss George. He was blushing😊😊 Darek Taylor and Ringo were behind him looking bemused by the whole thing...🤣😂
