I do not blame you. I would sell most of them off, too. Even rhe diesel van your fighting. Time for new cars. My favorite video was the Allante Seat and the engine hoist. It wasn't planned, and I like your regular car guy and not a perfect mechanic. You're one of us regular car guys.

I like those Cadillc's Randy. The older Eldorado's are one of my favorites, but according to my mom, I never cared for convertibles from a very young age. I now like the looks of them, but I don't want to own one.
What year did they modify the head bolts on the Northstar engine? I've always stayed away from that engine, but I would now consider one with the newer head bolts. Are the older ones threaded the same so you can easily convert them?
I know all Cadillac DTS'S have the revised head bolts. they are great motors the only thing to watch out for is oil leaks (but what engine doesn’t). Now i believe that in 2004 the engine was revised with the head bolts, i know i had a 2005 deville and it had the updated engine. and mid- later model 2004's had the motor. but really any 2005+ Northstar is a great motor.
