I don't know about everyone else but I love to see you guys doing repairs. The before and after. That being said. I wish you all the very best of luck.
Insurance Companies can sell RV's as flood when the water never entered the RV. It only had to be just under the storage compartments. One RV broke a water line in the Bath and only floor tile was messed up but insurance company totaled it. I bought mine as a salvage because it was vandalized. Someone broke in and stole the TV's out of it and while stealing the radio out of the dash they tore the dash apart. It was really a easy fix and didnt cost that much to repair. Earlier Pace Arrow Motorhomes had a master electrical shutoff in a compartment just above the entrance door. That might have been switched off and kept the 12 volt accessory system, (House batteries) from working. My RV is also a 2004 and so far I have never been refused camping at any park even when I traveled from St Louis out to the state of Washington and back a couple years ago.
The year thing or ten year rule is really only there for them to have something to stand on to refuse a rough looking unit. My grandparents kept thier mid 70's trailer in excellent shape and never had an issue or questioned on exact year.
@@JayH237I live on coastal GA. Big fishing area. There are some really ratty small RV parks when you wouldn’t overnight without an AK-47. Many are just full time, unwashed, nasty old things. I have seen beautiful older RV’s that are in perfect condition. But some of these places…….yikes! As far a a Flood RV, I wouldn’t buy a flood car .
update the back up camera if you get it and the radio with one that has android auto and apple car play. They are fairly cheap now and some of them even come with the back up camera the biggest issue is running the wiring for the backup camera.
In Pace Arrows of that era there are two switches in the small compartment over the entry door. They operate a pair of solenoids that connect the batteries to coach's wiring. One is for the engine electricity the other for house 12 VDC. Similar to battery cutoffs on heavy machinery.
I'd love to see you guys do a Prevost rebuild. The later ones with the 60 Series Detroit are awesome machines, and much better than these stick-and-staple things.
Hey got a question for you guys. I’m looking to buy a small chunk from a broken 2018 f150 STX grill. I know you guys have a scrap yard and so I was wondering if you had a piece of the honeycomb from one. I hit a bird and broke the passenger top corner out on mine. And if I could glue in a piece to fix it, I’d rather do that than spend 800 on a new oem one.
I had a 2003 Pace Arrow.. there was another floor plan than this.. I know it had a GM thinking 8 litr.. Going from Winston Salem to Lake Norman and back or to Myrtle Beach It ran like a champ.. 70 mph pulling a 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland behind no problems
Those are the actual seat coverings.. I had a medium sized dog and was always paranoid of a hole getting put in white leather! 2 ac units washer/dryer combo, solid surface counter tops dvd surround system to have your neighnor campers knock on your door when watching a movie! It was new to me but to open any of the slides the engine had to be running with the parking break on..
the drivers door was an option and expensive one so you didnt have to go all the way back to get out, only problem with older RV campgrounds wont let you into them over 15 years old to much liability
always love watching these guys go to copart still can't believe when they see the state of Georgia and state flag when bidding they think its called Georg-ia and say its a country in europe lol
Wow! Do you remember the guy with the blue Tesla? We met at Copart. I had traveled from Charlotte that day to check out an RV. I was bidding up to $8,000 using my South Carolina account. 😊
The cover is missing on the generator. I've been told when running the generator it's better to have the cover on. A good friend of ours had a 2005 Pace Arrow for many years. It was a great rv, well put together. They kind of hint the new one they bought two years ago is no where as solid as the old Pace Arrow
That roof damage is causing a lot of the interior ceiling damage. If the jacks don't work it's going to be expensive. You don't know what works and not. ceiling fix can be tough and a money pit
30 minutes now everything seems like it have the exact same model. The furniture is original your slides would work and your leveler would’ve worked. How do you set the parking break don’t know why and I will give 5000 in a heartbeat as that is dirt cheap just bought mine 25,000 and 149,000 miles, everything works and is like it was new that looks like it’s in good shape for water damage minor repairs and you would be back up and running
Always amazes me how much people are willing to throw at the auction. It's a risk, If they are selling, they won't get much a return on it. Has to be for themselves, but still, crazy
"house batteries are likely dead or shutoff, hence no slideout action or generator start. other than that, looks great. i'd buy it if i wanted a motorhome, built better than the new ones and you dont need a phone app to run anything
Apparently you don’t know much about motor homes or you wouldn’t have made such a comment. They’re built on a truck chassis with a very sturdy drive train. Sure the actual RV portion if not maintained can where out if it’s roof hasn’t been maintained and water damage set in. There are owners that maintain their RV’s better than their house and PaceArrow was a top of the line MotorHome. I have a 1984 34 foot SouthWind motor home which is the sister one of a PaceArrow brand. But it is on its second engine with 198,000 miles on it. The past 8 years we have only been using it as a parked cabin we use in the summer months in the Colorado Rocky Mountains near Leadville Colorado. Thanks
Old motorhomes are just not worth the effort in most cases. Many RV parks are turning away models over 10 years old and after water intrusion the structure of the coach really becomes compromised. A 2003 with water damage can't be worth more than $5,000 in the best of circumstances and a whole lot less in damaged condition.
Should be banned off the road during daylight. The drivers never use their mirrors. And don’t care how much traffic build up behind them but hardly ever pull in to let vehicles pass. Plus they park in passing places for hours or even overnight without a thought of other people. And they say there’s no money about. Most people couldn’t afford to run something like that with the price of fuel insurance tax. Etc etc.
I don't know about everyone else but I love to see you guys doing repairs. The before and after. That being said. I wish you all the very best of luck.
I can’t wait for you’ll to do a big rebuild with multiple videos , do you have any projects planned ?

That looks like a good bid foe some one looking for a unit to keep. Personal use.
We are just waiting for you to finish your next motorhome for us!!!

Depends how flooded a tank bursting not bad

cool vid, nice to see the auctions in action
Should have brought someone that knew RV'S along!!
I'd love to see you guys do a Prevost rebuild. The later ones with the 60 Series Detroit are awesome machines, and much better than these stick-and-staple things.
HA! BMW E39 headlights in the RV
The first thing I noticed also 😂

@nikobrothers...I couldn't find an email for ya..but mike showed a kit for heat shrinking wires...where do I find it? Ty
generator is missing the service door cover . don’t run without it. will cause it to overheat

Nice but you should upgrade a couple things to sell it i think, i think you have many rv parts at your place still or no?
It looks like a line half way up in the storage hatches. Is that a sign of water?
the drivers door was an option and expensive one so you didnt have to go all the way back to get out, only problem with older RV campgrounds wont let you into them over 15 years old to much liability
Not really
I have a 1991 that looks brand new and have never been denied a spot. It all depends on the condition.
That was fun
Nice try Michael, hopefully you’ll find another one..
always love watching these guys go to copart still can't believe when they see the state of Georgia and state flag when bidding they think its called Georg-ia and say its a country in europe lol
The backup camera is factory install, not after market.
Listen that RV is the size of my NYC apartment I would buy and park it and live in it.
Good job.
👍

Nice Rv. Didnt watch the full video. How much?

This is a run and drive Coach you..never get this for 4000$😂😂i bid and buy there since 2004..sometimes out from Europe....
Be careful. RV market is weak now. If you have to replace a generator and fix the leveling system not to mention other stuff you could spend a ton.
Anyone else noticed it has E39 BMW 5 series headlights? :D
Can't tell if it is a 2003 or a 2006
Heard both
Could you not see the tide mark inside the lockers?
Uhh what ever happened to that 2017. V10. Ford swap ,otorhome with heavy front end. Damage?
Headlights from a BMW E39 5 Series? Suspiciously similar
Oven cleaner degreaser yellow spray bottle walmart
That roof damage is causing a lot of the interior ceiling damage. If the jacks don't work it's going to be expensive. You don't know what works and not. ceiling fix can be tough and a money pit
Mike where did you go for the flood rv ? I’m interested in buying one
I want to buy one Mike? Where are you located
Man!
Mike you got any for sale??
Wassup

BTW I would not trust Any Gas Motor home past 10 yrs .
why if it maintained well it would be fine.
Ours is a 1995 and is in great shape!
why not? can’t judge a book by its cover bud. older they are the better they are built!!

There is always someone waiting in the wings for a deal.
Please can you do the video again without the engine noise in the background.
❤❤🇬🇭

I'd rather buy old the new new rvs or garbage, and the companies behind them won't even honor their warranties
Far to big

You're lucky you did'nt get it
