He also failed to mention there is a $250 membership fee + a $400 Deposit to bid on cars and $99 once you sign up and can only bid up to $2000. It wouldn't have been that hard to mention that in the video.
He is not getting into the details. When selling to carvana or carmax or any other dealer like them the title has to be titled under your name. Carmax requires to be at least 30days titled under your name. Also when carvana and carmax runs the vin after you click the next step they automatically deduct about 40% off their initial offer if the vehicle has been in AAI or copart auction. I have sold about 15 cars to them. Oh and the 5car limit per person has never been a problem for me and I don’t have a dealer license
So, basically you need to make sure you buy at a good low price because Carvana and CarMax will low ball you if the vehicle is coming from IAA or Copart.
Pretty cool, thanks! 1. Do you not do a prepurchase inspection before you buy? 2. Do you handle needed repairs and cleaning yourself? 3. What are risks to look out for? 4. How much buffer between the buy and sell prices do you recommend to account for surprise repairs that may be needed after purchase? 5. A lot of other commenters are describing extra fees and costs associated with the whole process, is this not your experience? Thank you again! Bless
I literally thought Copart was the 'land of misfit toys'. That said, there are literally millions of cars out there and this process should work for any of them. Thanks Super Dave!
There is aways a catch and that is you have to get the vehicle in your name and that could take a month or more. I sure wish some youtubers would look at all the details when making these kinds of videos.
The catch is that Carvana requires title in your name for a month and DMV will charge reg-tax. Carvana will not buy from dealers and will drop their offer 40% if sold at auction.
When the price of used cars was really high I paid 20,000 for my car when it was really only worth about 14 or 15 through carvana I still owe them just over 14,000 and they offered me $7,000 for it. Screw carvana!
No I don’t think this will work. In my experience you need to physically inspect about ten Copart cars to find one good deal. Their fees are very high, they take a long time to get you the title, and I think carvana has rules about who and what they will buy. How many times have you done this sir? Hope you’re not giving advice on something you haven’t done multiple times yourself.

Most of these auction cars need work. If not, the seller would sell them to carvana rather than sell them at auction. THe only good cars are donated cars, but those sell for more than what carvana will pay. Trust me we buy over 500 cars a year. Also, about 5 percent of the cars will have bad titles.
Hi, I am very much impressed with your effort to help others. Today you thought us how to sell cars to Carvana from Copart auction site. I am living in GA, can I bid/buy without dealers license in GA? If it's impossible to bid without license, can you please suggest any other method to bypass this obstacle. Thank you for helping!
What happens when you buy a car on copart and it ends up not being not what was advertised, copart sells as is and no refund. I stopped buying from them after being burnt several times. I was disappointed when he said copart.
So if you get a wholesale license you have a "dealers license" and you can sell to them after you have reached your maximum number of vehicles in your state 5 in mine but would that apply to kelly blue book also I've seen they got a feature for get offer now
What you can is find a cheap car put in the vin number an see how much it worth if its worth more than the buying amount then purchased the car then sell it on carvana

Lol 😆 you so right & hilarious @ the same time, in the way you said it. Hahaha
You have to be careful on Copart; a lot of dealers send their junk through that auction
10% auction fee, and the delivery can cost 600 to 1500.... The $250 fee to join and processing fee too

Does it matter how old the car is? Or if check engine lights on?
40%. that is a huge difference. There goes all your profit most likely
Sell it to your wife and she to said service.
🧢 on the CarMax side, I’ve registered a vehicle on Monday and sold it on Thursday to CarMax. Never sold to Carvana though.

But you still need to register it on your name, get to dmv and such, and yes, most states it’s 4-5 cars a year.
I doubt they'll take it if your name isn't on the title. It will be obvious you're flipping it then, not that it matters much I suppose.
Car dealers are having problems selling their own cars, with that said, why would Carvana purchase more vehicles if they cannot sell their own?
You can't also sell your vehicle to Carmax as well. The process is identical to Carvana.
They wouldn’t even buy the car if it’s not in your name ! And you have to pay taxes to put in your name
I literally thought Copart was the 'land of misfit toys'. That said, there are literally millions of cars out there and this process should work for any of them. Thanks Super Dave!
Will you shed some light with us and how we'd work that? I know in my state I can only sell 3 a year. Thank you.

Hi Dave, I’m in San Antonio. I was wondering how many cars we can sell to Carvana in TX? Thanks in advance.
You've sold 4 cars? Wow numbers like that can't lie!
This is awesome! Thank you
What about the year and mileage, if your car is from mid 2000 with high mileage you won’t get much as far as I know. Carvana sells top notch cars.
This is a lie. You have to register the car in your name and wait for the new title in your name to come in mail (2-5weeks in texas).
My question is, we don’t know the condition really so just happens if something big is wrong with it and carvana sees that? What happens after?.
Great info!
Why does Copart sell to the public? Manheim doesn't.

Carvana does not buy from dealers.
What about curbstoning laws? In GA, private citizens can't flip multiple cars without taking ownership and registering them.
You can sell 5 cars per year in GA with no dealers license
I would not risk buying vehicles on the website. If it looks too good to be true chances are it is a risky business.
You did not address the paperwork. Do you need to transfer the car to yourself before selling it to Carvana?
What you can is find a cheap car put in the vin number an see how much it worth if its worth more than the buying amount then purchased the car then sell it on carvana
Can runbuggy deli8ver the car straight to carvana whwereever the the auction is? or do you eed to get title transfered in your state first?
Them mean Carvana?
I thought carvana was gone out of business.
Love it ❤
Great! Thank you.
Is it hard or expensive to become a dealer?
3K A WEEK BTW🙄 Plus auctions charge 10% then sales tax! AND CARVANA IS KNOWN FOR NOT CHANGING TITLES. SMH 😒

Titles ! Titles! Need to be in your name , you left that part out, sales tax too!
These are total lies! The state attorney general is suing and investigating Carvana, which has a 2-star rating by the BBB.
Do you have to register the title under your name first?
Yes
The car needs to be registered and no less than 6 months, how does that work with your method
Carvana will only buy it if your have the tile in your name , so he left information out .
sales tax too, has to be in your name
If I have a physical address in multiple states , could I by pass the limit of cars I can buy yearly by shipping to those addresses
