- After months of driving around with the worlds most obnoxious exhaust, I felt it was time to tone it down a little bit, and do bit of an upgrade video for those of you who want to spice up your MK6 with a dual exhaust upgrade "From factory"!

I have a tdi 2.0 (not gtd) will the gti diffuser work that easy?

@@MichaelWashandwax me too, but i gave up up due to the lack of info's he was providing me. He was really good but from what i understood, the money spent on this build wasn't worth it. I believe he spent a crazy amount of money just to barely make over 260hp
It sounds that good because you got a Big turbo on it. Had it been the stock one , it would've sounded horrendous

The rear bumper is also the GTI bumper, right?
My 1.6 tdi rear bumper is different from yours in this video, so I guess it is the GTI bumper here aswell as the diffuser. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nope! Mine is a stock 2.0 TDI bumper, no fancy kit or anything, I think the GTI bumper is the same in Canada as the 2.0tdi bumper, just different valence

Btw I wanted to ask you, did you get any black smokes through the exhaust with your final setup after changing the turbo, inyectors and so on before selling it?
I didn't see any black smokes from all the mk6 videos listed on your profile.
Darkside developments said to me that with "fine tuning" could do straight pipe/remove cat and have no black smokes, dont know how exactly.

can you get a custom gti styled exhaust using a rawtek stage 2 EGR DPF delete exhaust and tune?
i have a ‘12 quattro a3 ; i have everything that you’ve done on your past one + a golf r rear sway bar. i enjoy your mk6 but don’t understand the switch from the audi.
Honestly, switching from the Audi was because of the market and limiting factor of the platform. The 2.0T was a great engine and fun, but you can only go so far without tons of investment, I have a new platform I am excited to share with you guys compared to the TDI and A3, so it’ll come! If I could I would live an 8P RS3, but until we can import them in Canada we have to wait! Appreciate you sticking around since I had the A3!

Hello, Great job, I made the same modification on my tdi and I also have the same problem with my exhaust on the right side, it comes out too much compared to the left side, did you find a solution?
For me it ended up being an issue with the clamp connecting the mid pipe to the rear muffler! Some messing around got it sorted for me - had someone push the Right side tip in while I was adjusting clamps and tightened it back up and it was all good to go
Any plans of doing the GTI spoiler?
Unfortunately not, I've tried digging for info on how to do it, and anything that involves drilling into the factory body and possible leaks is a no from me..

Yes it should, but the exhaust on a factory tdi will not fit the gti diffuser (obviously)

Yep can still run the GTI exhaust with a full delete
Is this the same install for a 1.6 tdi
What size reducer did you use?
I think 3 1/2” to 2 3/4”
does gti exhaust fit in golf mk6 1.6 tdi?
If the midpipe and rear muffler routing is the same, I don't see why not? I would just verify rear valence mounts the same
Did you not need a pipe reducer for the exhaust?
Yes I had one kickin around - it all depends on the mid pipe or not, mine was aftermarket, so stock downpipe/ midpipe should fit no problem!
