Testers now get past this by letting the urine sit for 5 minutes before testing the temperature. Fake urine loses temp faster than real urine. There’s also another issue, professional labs have dip sticks where they can test for natural bacteria only found in real urine. The problem here is a professional testing company was hired. If you get tested with a 9 panel kit from Amazon fake urine will work, but if it’s by a lab you’re screwed. Drug testing has changed a lot in the last year where a lot of these products are useless.
As a bigger guy.. it stores in your fat. So yeah taking 90+ days isn't out of the norm. It sucks, but getting the temp thing right could have saved this guy.

Years ago while working at a candy plant corporate wanted all new hires drug tested. Production line did not pay much so they had trouble finding help. They wanted 60 people so they told the first 200 hundred people that applied that in two weeks they woild hsve to come in for a drug test. Over 150 of the 200 failed the drug test. Heard back then if people stopped smoking pot for 4 or 5 days they would pass drug test.

This is a very very hard job. That said, they don't test for marijuana here in Oregon for a number of jobs. If they did it would be impossible to fill positions. To be in an industry as hard as crab fishing you need some kind of release. It's a hell of a lot better than alcohol and other drugs. It should be the least of anyone's worry.

Just a tip for anyone. If it has a small cotton piece on the bottom you can spit on it and pee dirty. The cotton tests the first liquid and then the dirty pee is "clean" and up to temp

Just a tip for anyone. If it has a small cotton piece on the bottom you can spit on it and pee dirty. The cotton tests the first liquid and then the dirty pee is "clean" and up to temp

They lose an average of 24 lives and 34 vessels a year up there. You don’t have the luxury of being under the influence of ANYTHING there. I type this as I sit here and smoke, so I’m not against it at all. But I wouldn’t want a dr operating on me stoned. This is his job and he needs to be 100%
We really need new drug tests that test only for very recent use and standardize them. It’s the only policy that makes sense.
