This is easily the best game experience I've ever had. And I play games since 2008, had all sorts of consoles and PCs. This muffled version is just that icing on the cake that shows how the developers and designers did their best in this masterpiece. I start crying everytime i listen to this.
when i went past the 3 anglerfish in the entrance i started speeding up causing another anglerfish to notice me, literally went full throttle to the vessel in a second feldspar would be proud
Spoilers yes i cannot put into words how stressed i was knowing that with the warp core in my hand, that i was going to die for real all while drifting through a horde of gigantic monstrous anglerfish that would chase me as soon as i made a sound, and that i almost got a heart attack because i couldnt find the yellow seed leading to the vessel, until i remembered that my ship log remembers the location of where it was
I live streamed my journey, even did a dry run without the advanced warp core to be sure I could fly it. During the real run, my own moderator types "FULL SEND" as I enter the Bramble... nearly slammed into the first Angler on my way in! Made it, but was shaking and yelling, lol. No other game has come this close to feeling like everything is riding on one moment. XD
(spoilers) the pure adrenaline and rush i was feeling, holding the ash twins warp core in my hands, darting it to dark bramble and then... just waiting. as i slowly flew by the anglerfish, i felt nothing but pure thrill. as i got in the vessel, and placed the warp core, i brought up the 3 sided pillar and something clicked, this was where i needed to put the coordinates for the eye of the universe.
The same realisation hit me when i first saw the ash twins warp core ( it was the last thing i visited ) i knew what i should do, i finally understood out purpose. We never supposed to save our star, we we here to save galaxy
Just finished the game, it's a masterpiece...
