You awaken staring up at the starry night sky of your home planet, Timber Hearth. As you open your eyes, you can see above you a large, blue-green planet, and a cannon-like structure orbiting around it. This structure has just fallen apart as little blue orbs shoot from its core, and just as quickly as it happens, they disappear into the void of space. You wonder what it is, but perhaps you can find out. Today will be your first journey outside of your planet as the newest member of Outer Wilds Ventures, after all. It is quiet, except for a roaring campfire that you dozed off nearby. Sitting in front of you is your childhood friend, Slate, silently poking at the embers under the roaring logs. This is great! I just started making a Famitracker version of this song this week and thought "I wonder if this has been done already." Guess I don't need to now--Looks like you've got the Outer Wilds 8bit territory well-covered!
In agreement with the comment above! Had me in tears! Just make sure you finish the main game before the DLC if you do get round it it, you won't regret it!
