Thank you for being so real!! My son is 3 years old. It’s doesn’t feel too long ago. Hair loss, isolation, a new life, a new body and giving yourself that time and love to heal and still being active I think what I feel most relatable. Many videos out there can feel so fake and unrelatable! Thank you for being real!
I noticed my body felt more "normal" around the year mark. I didn't feel the weird body pains and also mentally I felt more like myself again. It's great you are sharing the realness of mom bods and you look beautiful regardless! Moms are amazing!!! We gave birth!
That makes me happy to hear! I've heard other mamas say similar things and its crazy that were told to believe the 6 weeks postpartum is when you start to feel normal again.. so not true
I loved at the end when you said addressed that maybe some people watch to help plan for what to expect someday when they do want to get pregnant and start a family. That’s exactly me! I’m currently watching through your mommy playlist and am loving how in depth you explain things. I’m a few years away from all of this but it’s still awesome to get to know now because someday when I have a career and get pregnant, I feel like I’m not going to have time to binge your entire playlist. I love all this content so much and really enjoy these videos!
Love that you are doing this video! I am 20 months pp and I, like you, was NOT prepared for that first period. It was a murder scene - especially the first full day or two. After the first six months, they started to lighten up a bit and now are basically normal. There is a light at the end of that tunnel :) I also absolutely love and cannot praise you enough for showing the reality of motherhood and acknowledging that some days are rough and that it isn't all sunshine and roses, even though you love your baby and your new family. Motherhood is hard, working full time is hard and juggling is hard, being a new parent in a pandemic is hard. Thank you for modelling reality, highlighting the need for self-care, and not perpetuating the idea that women can just instantly adjust and do everything. That is so validating for other moms and helpful, with respect to the creation of expectations, for moms-to-be. I really appreciate your content!
I always feel so relaxed and in a good mood when I watch your videos. I started watching your videos with recepie right before I found out I was pregnant and I had the same feeling back then too. Then, after one week or so I found that I was pregnant and I always watch your videos of during/post pregnancy. They are so down to earth and it's like listening to a close friend that is sharing her journey. You look beautiful and Sage is gorgeous
I couldnt agree more and Im so happy this video resonated with you as Im always a but worried when posting videos like this but I want to be honest and truthful with my experience even if its not someone else's experience. I hope my videos help others xo
Thanks for keeping it real mama! Pro tip: the baby blues postpartum hair gummies are seriously ace for the hair shedding. Has biotin and collagen and all the vitamins to get hair growing back faster. xoxo
I am 28 weeks pregnant and lately I have been sooo tired and not feeling it, if I can fit in three workouts I al already happy.. I love following your videos , they are keeping it real. Sage is sooo beautiful🤩
Thanks so much Nikole for your honesty and keeping it real. I suffered with postpartum depression when my sons were born in 1994 and 1996 and no one talked about it. So I had to go through it without any support. Also, there was no youtube, twitter, and instagram to get information and support. You are a role model for women who may be self conscious about their bodies after they give birth. I know I was very self conscious about my body. I wanted to lose the weight fast and look like I did before I got pregnant. There was no one to reassure me that I didn't need to stress myself about it. Women who are pregnant today are very lucky to have your channel to get accurate information on different topics as well as feeling that not only do you care, but someone who really understands. Now that the Stay At Home Order is done, let's hope things will start opening up soon and we will have a good summer. P.S. Love, Sage Big Hugs. Silvie
What an amazing video! I am 5 months postpartum with my second baby and can totally relate. It's so refreshing how real and relatable you are! I love watching your videos! Hugs from Manitoba, Canada 😘
Super helpful video. Couldn't figure out why my ankles hurt every morning or even throughout the day. Good point about the relaxin...and making you achy
I am 2 months postpartum and I watched your videos during my pregnancy as well. They were so helpful to me. I was wondering how did you manage to find time to workout, get sleep and breastfeed. I am looking for ideas on how I can find some balance. Thanks so much!
This was really helpful, I’m going through the exact same phase right now, I’m currently six months postpartum, and your video so relatable. Im more at a peaceful state of mind after watching your video. Thankyou so much!! Much love to you!!
Following you from the days when you used to go to your office with smoothie... Time really flies....I can totally relate to you....I am myself a mother of 22 months old girl.....It took me an year to feel like okish...no pain and all...for some reason I had pain in every small joint for 6 months....started after 2 months and was gone 9 month postpartum.... Yess scale just dont tell anything...I haven't been able to go back to same weight or clothes even now...and i wont ever...my stomach still feels same...I live with my husband who is workingevery single day in the pandemic also..really hard to get time for workout daily... Still I wouldn't change anything for the little girl I have...it means a lot... So much love to you and your family... I hope you will be great soon...You are such a positive energy person...makes my day all the time I see u....
Nicole, i just love your realness. I wish I had you as a mentor when i was pregnant. As i watch your video i realize how hard I was on myself.... and how quickly I wanted to be back and how i was before pregnancy! Your such a inspiration. Thanks for sharing your story! We love u! Xxxx
For hair loss, ive used Vegamore hair loss serum. Its not oily and its more water based but its has helped with hair loss in general. I should probably start using in now, before i have the baby so my hair is more normal by the time is starts to fall out.
I’ve had four babies (all c-sections. current ages 6-13) and I had massive 8 inch stretch marks over my entire abdomen during my first pregnancy. They did eventually fade but they’re long and wide so they will never be totally gone. C’est la vie 😂 my kids are great so no real complaints here lol
Your videos are the best! You are so inspiring and I'm so thankful to have your videos to watch on my pregnancy journey. I'm a first time mama-to-be, 31 weeks pregnant, and your content have been so comforting and educational to watch! Thank you ❤️
I love your videos, so educative! I'm having a baby in 2 months and took note of a lot of tips you shared. It's making me more confident in my abilities to be a mom for the first time!
Thank you for this video. It's so true after having my second baby wooooooow let me say my body was totally different compared to the first one. It's crazy but always be kind to yourself! We have to remember we are all different and we carried another human inside for months, our bodies will change. Love your videos!!
Love your “real”. Love your content! I’m pregnant with my 3rd right now, due in July...and hearing you chat about your abs and the way your stomach still puffs and the muscles are more on the outside makes me wonder if I’ve had undiagnosed diastasis recto all these previous years from my first 2 pregnancies. My first was only 8 months when I got pregnant with my second. Love your journey!
Love ur honest video about post-partum..many shows it's easy to get back into pre pregnancy body...n at some point we feel very low n think I am not doing good...n may be I am very lazy...but after watching ur video I felt way so relaxed that I am on right track...as we gave birth to a human healthy human, feeding them now n then, so our body will take time to get back into pre pregnancy body. .n wow what a beautiful angel u have been blessed with...she is adorable ❤, love ur videos. Thanks alot dear.
Currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first & due in November so it's fun to get a sneak peek idea of where I'll be at in my journey just 1 year from now! I'll definitely be re-watching some of your pregnancy, baby & post-partum videos 😘.
I really appreciate your honesty. It's good to know what real recovery looks like. On Instagram you see these "super moms" and how they're doing it "all". It should be inspiring but when you're struggling, it just makes me feel bad about my own journey. I don't have an at home gym like those influencers or all the other resources that they may have. My feet are swollen so much of the time I have to make dinner quickly before my feet or back start hurting. I am currently 37 weeks and I absolutely miss normal mobility, not to mention general exercise. Looks like recovery, along with everything else that comes along with pregnancy, is a process. Did you try any of those postpartum belly wraps? What are you thoughts on those? Also thank you for talking about PPD,I don't really see many people talking about that in depth. Would love a full video on that if you're able to, of course that could get very personal but maybe even just general information on it? It is talked about a lot but still seems taboo.
Im 3 months PP and atill have 20lbs to loose with baby number two! Exclusively breastfeeding, and i walk 5 days a week and lift light weights 3 days a week.
New to the channel! Suuuuper enjoying! My 2 pregnancy, but first here in Canada (and after 7 years) so almost everything is new :) Thanks for the videos about baby and stuff and the healthy foods. Loving it!!
6 months postpartum here. It has been hard to get back in shape. I would love to see a video on fitness and easy healthy foods for busy moms. How do you find time to exercise? My daughter’s sleep has been all over the place and both of us barely get any sleep. At the end I just don’t have the energy to workout.
I know I'm not an expert but I walk ALL THE TIME. when it is 106 degrees outside I pick up my baby and try to walk for at least 20 minutes inside while holding him. Sometimes I even push him in his stroller around the house if my body isn't feeling up to carrying a 25 pound six month old for half an hour. Haha .
I dont know if its what helped but I did massage and moisturize my skin morning and night and also stretched and moved my body daily as well as tried to avoid processed junk food and fast food take out. Luckily I didnt feel good even pregnant when I would eat fast food so I tried to stick to simple foods or homecooked.
First time preggo mum at 11 weeks and your videos have been such a life saver!! You’re so calming and informative and Sage is SO cute. Thanks so much for sharing your journey❤️❤️❤️
Hi... Your baby is really cute... Please tell me what you did with the stretch marks did they go. If so.. How? I am 37 weeks right now and stretch marks are there. How to make them go away postpartum?
You look great, I’m glad you touched on this it’s hard not to compare sometimes, I need to remember a lot of what you see on Instagram, people use filters what you see isn’t always what’s real😀❤️🌻
Thank you for sharing! I totally relate... my baby girl is 7 months young 🥰. Love your honesty. So true...somedays I feel like I got it and other days I feel like I don't. Sending you a lot of positive energy 🤗❤
I'd love to hear what you're doing to support your milk supply.... I may have missed it, but I didn't catch what things you're doing since your supply dipped some... I've been struggling every month when my period is on its way, and my baby boy is only 3 months... I've never been one of those women who get a 6 month break or more from their cycle with any of my pregnancies lol... I've found one or 2 things helpful, but I'm always listening for more tips.
My daughter will turn 2 month this 17th June and when I gave birth and came home, on the 3rd day I had to take down my 65lbs 4 year old son down from the sewing in the park. Never felt so helpless in my life
Thank you for making these videos abt both pregnancy and post pregnancy!! It’s been so helpful and educational for me and I’m sure so many other women here 🙏🏽. I wanted to ask, what did you do to get rid of stretch marks? Thanks!
My baby is 15 weeks old. I was pretty happy with my mom bod after delivery but I've gained 10+ more lbs. I tried getting back to my old fitness/ mental health go to which is walking several miles each day. I lost five lbs but my milk dropped drastically. My dr said I did too much all at once and now I'm disheartened. Trying to get my milk back up and pretending I'm satisfied w a wimpy little walk around the block. I dont know what to do other than resign to staying 30 lbs heavier than I was before baby. I'm sad and frustrated. Exercise helps my adhd and anxiety/depression. Why did I start to lose my milk along w the weight and what are my alternatives?
I'm 1 month post c-section. My belly is huge even when I'm naturally super skinny, so now I'm super skinny with a big pouch. Wonderijg if my muscles will ever go back to normal :( but honestly I think it won't happen ever again
Hey nikole great vid, I am 6 mos post partum also. I was wanting to ask you if you have heard of Red Light Therapy & what you think about it? Love your channel! 💓🤗
You're so pretty! And I can't handle how adorable your bright eyed baby is 💫 love all your tips and chat! Keep up the good work! Ps~ where are those tan high-rise tights and white crop are from?! Lots of Love!! Xo

Currently 35 weeks pregnant and I really relate on not being able to move my body. I miss it and can’t wait to exercise again.
Same here! We will get there again soon! 💪🏼
Congrats.! I’m also 35 weeks - almost baby time 🤞🏼💙

Babies born in the 80’s and mama’s bodies didn’t get the love they do now. You’re a sweetie. ❤️
my mom always tells me how different things use to be when you were a mom and how she wishes she had the resources and information there is now
Massaging the scalp with natural castor oil is perfect for stimulating hair growth 💫

Would love for you to share the best before, during and after pregnancy exercises. What’s the best way to “prep” your body?
I actually documented all the trimesters in a recap video and blog post and listed out everything I did from fitness to supplements.
Again, another video and I’m blown away by how encouraging and real it is. We need more honesty about birth and postpartum like this. Thank you!!!

Such a great and encouraging video to view ourselves in a healthy, respectful light. Thank you!
Thanks for being honest and real about body and emotions PP. Social media can be so deceptive to new mamas. Xx
I love u for being so honest and real, Nikole. You are a wonderful mother. Keep doing what your doing. 💚

Currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first & due in November so it's fun to get a sneak peek idea of where I'll be at in my journey just 1 year from now! I'll definitely be re-watching some of your pregnancy, baby & post-partum videos 😘.
yay november babies!
I really appreciate your honesty. It's good to know what real recovery looks like. On Instagram you see these "super moms" and how they're doing it "all". Thank you for sharing and helping to normalize the changes postpartum, and the differences woman to woman :)
6 months postpartum here. It has been hard to get back in shape. I would love to see a video on fitness and easy healthy foods for busy moms. How do you find time to exercise? You are looking beautiful and fabulous as always. Love watching you! Baby Sage is such a cutie!!!
As long as you want to look great for your HUSBAND, it does not matter what anyone thinks... If your motive is to impress others, then, well...
Expect the "smoke"

No you look great for yourself-that's it. Of course if others think you look nice too it's a bonus.

I'm 1 month post c-section. My belly is huge even when I'm naturally super skinny, so now I'm super skinny with a big pouch. Wonderijg if my muscles will ever go back to normal :( but honestly I think it won't happen ever again
My first period after my daughter was soo much heavier too!!!
