I rode it today and it literally felt like it rode stock!! I could definitely feel the front down more, but I’ll be installing rear drop shock this week to fix that!!

hi, i just contacted Progressive and they state that the damper rod top out springs need to be installed also. You seem to have not done this step. Can you please advise why?

Thanks for making this great video! I have a 2002 Drifter 1500 and have been wanting to do this mod. Keen to know how it rides, handles and steers with the new springs.

It honestly rides like stock! On big bumps the rear progressive shocks do bottom out a bit, but I put them right in the middle for stiffness

Cool. I hope you make a video about the rear drop shock. Will you be using Progressive?

Is there a way I can do this mod without taking the forks off the bike just relieving the pressure and changing everything from Up top?

I lifted the front wheel off the ground and did this on the bike. You just need to make sure no weight is on the front wheel at all!

Oh awesome! What did you use to get everything out and did you change the oils?

@@BeyondTheLineProductions I did not change the fluid. Once the cap is off the stuff inside is free and can be removed with your hand or some needle nose pliers!
