I’m Catholic I’ll keep you in my prayers and the person in your community who’s serving in the war. This Catholic stands with Israel
Thank you
Me too 🙏🕯🇮🇱🕊🙏
Yes! 🙏❤️🇮🇱
I agree! We prayed for our beautiful folks from Isreal this sunday.
How is it that baby Firefly is walking already! Oh my. Im praying for all Jewish people everywhere. Our church supports Israel ❤❤
I stand with Israel!! I’m appalled by the action of sone American citizens & those enjoying the freedoms of our country while supporting terrorist.
My family is so far ok. They have been evacuated from southern and northern Israel. I do have two cousins in the IDF. I am leaning on our Jewish faith to help me to continue to process everything that is going on. I am still in shock over what is going on.
Chaya Esther
It’s definitely still a shock. I’m so glad to hear that your family is ok right now.
Believe in Hashem.....and keep busy.
Chaya ester where are you from in Israel??
@@שולמיתרוש I am not from Israel. I am from the USA. I have family in Israel. It’s hard to be here in the U.S. while my family in Israel is going through so much. I feel helpless.
@@PinkHawk191 for sure. I do live here. And Channah knows that.. yes we are in troubling time. But also in miraculous time.. we have rabbis that guide us and tell and tell us what to do pray . Hashem G-D is a merciful G-D. we will all see the coming of Mashiach very soon..!!👐
Chana, my heart is broken for you. You’re right, there are no words. I’m so, so sorry the Jewish people are experiencing such hatred. I truly did not think I would ever see this again in my lifetime. 😢
I continue to pray for the safety and support for all my Jewish brothers and sisters 🙏. Please stay safe and know you are loved
Thank you
My church has been praying for peace in the Middle East. Hoping for the safety of Mr. Firefly's family still in Israel. I hope you and the family stay safe during these times
The east coast is so much more convenient for kosher:) i can see your family moving to NJ, We are always planning our move out of TX:)
As a Christian, I completely stand with Israel AND pray for all innocents in danger. Bless you.
I’m a Canadian Christian and I stand with Israel and am praying for Jews everywhere.
I’ve been praying for all of the Jews everywhere.
I'm so sorry for what you're experiencing. I'm praying for those suffering in Israel and Palestine. Praying for protection from Antisemitism for all Jews and Islamophobia for all Muslims.
Praying for you, your family and all the innocent people affected by this horrible tragedy stay safe, love you all , praying for the day where antisemitism, Islamophobia and any form of hate will no longer exist Amen stay safe ❤
As Catholics my family and I stand with Israel. Always have, always will. Praying for all Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world.
My heart is so sad for all Jewish people. As a Christian, I have studied some Judaism since it’s the roots and foundation of Christianity. I always did a unit on the Holocaust when I taught fifth grade, and my students loved to learn about it. You are all in my prayers.
As a Christian, I think there is no need for war. We have Jewish friends living in Israel and we love you all. Prayers for all the hurting people.
You were about 1 hour from my home. Lakewood is a huge Orthodox area. There are tons of kosher stores. I shop there for Russian/Middle Eastern products that I can't get in regular stores.
We were on a cruise overseas when the war broke out. Every evening before dinner we remembered to uplift Israel in prayer. We were a group of 4 senior adults from the US.
I wasnt sure to press tumbsup to this video, but i did. I want pepole to see your message. I am praying for you and your entier family. May God protect all the innesent. ( sorry for my broken english, i am norvegian and dyslektik )
This Protestant stands with you all. I will continue to pray for protection and peace for my Jewish brothers and sisters. I absolutely love the book of Psalms. It is such a comfort in times of sorrow and hardship. ❤️!
I am praying for you and your family, the hostages, the soldiers, all of Israel, all Jewish people everywhere...that God will lead all of you and protect you and give you the strength to do what needs to be done....🇺🇲🇮🇱
It was lovely to see a post from you. Traveling to visit family to celebrate the high holy days is a time to step back from your channel to just enjoy this holiday. But I am glad you are telling us about your visit.
Whenever I am in another country than Canada, I too visit grocery stores. All the packaging is different for our favourite things because there is not French and English on them or labeled in a foreignlanguage. Little things like that surprise me and I find it fun. Also all the different products available is enjoyable to look through, and yes also buy. Even window shopping is fun, and I am not a big shopper, but there are new things to see. Where I live in a small rural city it is fun to even shop in larger cities to see the variety.
Being able to visit family is always a joy. It's great thst your children were able to see and play with their cousins. Those little figurines you bought them were so cute.
I am looking forward to Part 2. You and all your family the world over are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and your family.
Chana, my heart is breaking over all this hatred and ugliness. There is true evil in our world, as we can see. We support Israel 100%, even though we are Catholic. It is so upsetting that, last Saturday, I was completely dysfunctional. I was "paralyzed" by the atrocities being committed. And, the antisemitic acts and protests just repulse me...I am SO sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and loved ones and all Jews during this horrific time. Rosemarie ❤️🙏🏻 🇮🇱
Chana, there ARE no words for this. I pray for the children and babies, and I bless and say D'ua for you, my Sister of the Book. Please know that this Hijabi, in my Scholar condemns such atrocities. I sincerely hope that you're family receives better news. Shalom.
I’m not of Jewish faith but am praying that it ends soon all loved ones are safe. And the young man gets home safely. Love & hugs
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
One of my college roommates lives in Israel with her hubby and kids. Last I knew they lived in a kibbutz. Prayers for their safety!
My dear UA-cam friend. I have never fully gone into my connection with Judaism but it goes back at least fifty three years. I have kept you, Israel, and the diaspora in my thoughts and prayers. I also will not allow my ANGER to be vented in a negative way. I will only say that I wish for Israel a complete and decisive victory over those who are determined to destroy her. I send you, Mr. Firefly, and your entire family peace, blessings and JOY. SHALOM AND L'CHAIM.❤
I've read reports of serious attacks on synagogues in a number of countries. It's horrifying. I'll keep praying. ❤
Prayers ascend for all. Please take care and be safe.
I'm so glad to see your video; I've been in constant prayers for all of my Jewish friends, and of course, for Israel herself!! Please take care of your mental health during these perilous times; the rise of antisemitism around Metro Detroit is scary to ME as a Christian so I cannot imagine how my Jewish brothers and sisters feel!!! #NeverAgain #ChristianSupportForJewsAndIsrael
I hope your matchmaking comes to fruition!
Baby Firefly's commentary was great! Praying for all of the innocent in the Holy Land.
Keeping you all in our prayers, there is no excuse for antisemitism. We should all respect each other, even with different beliefs. Thank you for your posts I really enjoy learning about the Jewish culture.
Praying for safety for you, your family and Israel. ❤
I am praying for the peace of Jerusalem. I am a believer in Christ. But I love my many Jewish friends. I am praying for Jews all over the world, along with the soldiers in Gaza & Israel!
Still praying over all Israelis, any captives still being held, and all Jewish people the world over.
Prayers for every Jewish community
I am praying with you. I am afraid, angry, and very worried. Although we’ve never met, I feel like your Bubbie. Sending love.
Praying for Israel and Jews all over the world. May peace come very soon.
I’m praying for all My church is having a service to pray for Israel
Chana it's good to see you back. I keep all my Jewish friends close in my heart at this difficult time. I'm glad you enjoyed your high holidays. Hugs and love.
Oh Chana my heart is so broken for the amazing nation of all Jewish communities, my heart is with you and I just can not wrap my mind around the baseless hatred, I am lifting up each one everywhere to Hashem ❤
G-d bless you, Chana. May He grant supernatural peace to your family. I am lighting a candle and praying Psalm 122 every day. With love from a Catholic homeschooling mom in Michigan
Hi Chana. I'm one of your Orthodox fans, who lives in Israel (I grew up in the States). In many ways I think things are harder right now for Jews in the Diaspora. In Israel I'm surrounded by people who "get it." All my coworkers are depressed, not just me. Everyone talks about the situation and I don't feel alone. I don't have to read about the anti-Israel protests if I don't want to, and they aren't happening where I live. I know that a lot of Jews in the States and other countries feel so isolated, like their coworkers and neighbors just don't understand, and many have had antisemitic activity directed at them.
I mean, yeah, when I hear a noise in my house in the middle of the night, I wonder whether terrorists have gotten in, and this is the end. Everyone here is traumatized. And it's not lost on us how many people around the world literally don't care whether our hostages come home, and want us to continue living with baby-beheading murderers as neighbors. It's so scary.
But I'm in a place where I can help. I'm surrounded by people in the same boat. We have an army that has mobilized to protect us. I wouldn't leave Israel right now for a million dollars. My sister in California told me I can always go stay with her if I need a break. Maybe someday I'll take her up on it, but right now I can't imagine leaving. If I were in the States, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Stay strong. You aren't alone, even if it feels like you are.
That is such an interesting perspective that I really hadn't quite thought about in that way. Thank you. You gave me such chizuk and clarity. It's been a confusing time being an American Jew. And I have never wanted to be in Israel more. Stay in Israel. It's honestly scary here. Less so in Texas than in some other states, but still. We have seen so much antisemitism in the past few weeks.
💔💔I stand with Israel. I am so sad for all that has happened. I cannot even imagine. I was born in Montclair, New Jersey, Chana!! Hugs from Michigan! 🤗❤️
I didn't know that bit you shared about the symbolism of the Four Kinds! Which is extra ironic because I'm a Jew that was raised in a non-observant household but who is coming back into observance as we speak. So my Torah knowledge and level of observance are definitely not what they should be for an adult. I'm taking classes and studying as much as I can to try to correct that - and I love knowing that more observant Jews are thinking about folks like me when they're in the sukkah.
With all of the plants being held together, it's like I'm symbolically being hugged by all the frum Jews in the world! That's an image that will make me smile all day - thank you for sharing :)
Continuing to pray for your families safety and the safety of Jews everywhere. What a blessing you got to spend time with family before the atrocities happened. Believing that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps
Praying for Israel and all the innocent people who are effected by this horrible situation ! You are God’s chosen people and He is still in control ! May God give all the strength needed at this time ! 🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖
Praying for you and your family. Hope your in laws are safe.
Sorry to hear what’s going on. I’m Christian & am standing for Israel. Many of us from some of the churches are praying for Israel. There will be victory. This is another spiritual warfare. Love you guys & take care.
I’m literally crying. I’m so sorry that y’all are experiencing this. Words can’t describe how horrible this is and how much grief and anxiety it causes so many of us, although non of what we are feeling can hold a candle to what millions of Jews are feeling around the world. My family will continue praying for your family and for the Jewish community around the world especially Israel.
My high school classmate lost her son in Israel just a couple days ago. I feel so sad for her and her family.
I love that you add your 'bloopers' at the end of each video - so funny and relatable! I am praying for the entire Jewish community in North America and Israel.
I've never seen any bloopers.
My heart goes out to all of Gods children both Israel and other places on earth. May God give you peace and safety. May God Bless and keep you! MO,USA❤🙏🏻
Hi Chana. I’m thankful that your family is in New Jersey. I’ve belonged to the fitness center at the JCC in our community for many years. It has always been a fortress to get into, but I’ve never seen the police presence around it that is there now. It makes me so sad, and I worry for the children. My grandson’s 5th grade class was studying “Number the Stars” at the time the war started. What a lesson that turned into. 💜🙏
So your in laws got out of Israel? Thank God! I’m so happy you got to get out of town. We all need time away. I hope our world didn’t fall apart until after you got back to Dallas.
Thank you, Chana. You're doing a mitzvah with these videos. Much appreciated.
Very close to me! Standing with Israel!
Amazing, thank you! 👍❤
I’m Catholic, born, baptized and eventually started eventually decided that what I was to do. As like would have, I was an advocate for the art the Tribunal. I loved Canton law, but there was a little whispering in my ear. It kept saying “LITURGY”. With the help was my friends,I did it all. One side of the law transferred to the other side of the law. Finally after the kids began to have a life, my went back to woke.. A c couple days here and a few evenings was the best of both worlds. I accidentally found your channel. Continuing education never ends. I love how much I’m learning. Unfortunately you are it. The only person I know who is Jewish. The similarities are unbelievable, as I remind myself, Jesus was Jewish. Please continue, your stories, your traditions. I love them all. The first one I implemented was when my husband died. No flowers! I placed a vase with roses because they had a special meaning to us. I wish we were neighbors, you teaching one way and me teaching the other. Stay safe, protect the kiddo. I promise to prayer for you and ask to send a little one up for me.
Introvert that I am was maybe why I found you riveting and me subscribed!😃 Blessings
Bonjour from Montréal. Keep strong and pround. Love your vidéos. ❤❤❤❤ merci et bonne semaine
I am continuing to pray for you, your family, Israel and Jewish people everywhere. I am so sorry that you all are experiencing antisemitism. The hate is despicable. I will say it was so good to see you smile while sharing your time with your family during the high holidays. I can see that your soul was being fed and that is ALWAYS good. I look forward to seeing more of your families time in New Jersey. Sending love and hugs and prayers that you all are able to find peace and joy in this troubling time.
Hugs my Friend, praying for you and All of Israel.
My prayers are for peace. Horrible people will always take advantage of situations and try to justify their behaviour. Be strong and take care of yourself and the family
Hi chana i’m Catholic and my prayers goes to your family and the people in Israel. How are you and your family I hope you’re well. I’m prayer every time for everyone especially from your family. With big love from your Andrew MPS, you made great UA-cam, UA-cam contents and carry on❤❤🎉❤❤❤😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My heart is breaking for all the hatred and stress you have been experiencing. 💔💔 I will continue to pray for you and everyone involved. I’m so glad that you had such a wonderful trip as a family and that everyone got to have so much fun!!! Is there any chance that you & Mr. Firefly would consider a move to the East Coast and New Jersey? Sending much love and hugs from Canada!!! #IStandWithIsreal #PrayForPeace ✡️🙏☮️
Thank you for sharing Chana. I can imagine that there's more variety for Jewish people in the Northeast. It sounds like everyone had a great time up north.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I thought you were in Jersey. It's been raining like crazy. We have a few large Jewish communities here and they're great. My campground is near where your family is and we drive through on the weekends. I pray there's no conflicts here. I enjoy watching the fathers and sons walking the neighborhood and it's a beautiful site. Stay safe.
My Love, thoughts and prayers are with you and Israel.
Dear Chana, I am so happy you had good holidays in New Jersey . It is kind of what my weather is like. I am glad they had so many Jewish stores!!
I am so sorry for what you and your family are experiencing.😢 I keep praying for everyone .
Praying for Israel and all Jews. I really enjoy your vlog and your positive outlook on life. Shalom
I’m so sorry Chana😢😢
Im glad you were all able to go away, be with family / friends during this troubling time. No one should feel out of place still bringing peace and joy for their children during these holidays. God is with us.
Thanks Jeanne. This was filmed right before everything started. It is nice to look back on happier times though.
Thanks Chana. Stay safe.
The anguish on your face says it all. Be safe Firefly family! ❤😊✌️
Praying for you, your family, friends and Israel
I want peace for all people. I stand with Israel in the protection of its people against the horrible atrocities that have been committed.
Sweet Chana, I grew up in NJ and not far from Lakewood! I was so excited to know you were visiting my home state. Did you make a trip to the shore while you were there? I hope so.
Like you, I'm at a loss as to what to say. I have family and good friends who are Jewish. So many friends from school are Jewish. I pray all the time for peace, and end to the violence. I was horrified to learn that you are having to deal with anti-Semitism at home.
I'm so happy that you had fun shopping in the kosher stores and living for a while in a community where you don't have to explain yourself and you can just be. I also know that Orthodox communities are targeted for hatred. I pray that G-d protect you, your loved ones, and all Jews who simply want to live in peace.
Oh my sweet firefly. I pray daily for you and your people.
Good words are good, but when you just tell us how you are doing, that is 99% of the very best thing IMO for all watchers. Thank you again so much for sharing your thoughts and emotions.
Please take care of yourself and your family. I'm not Jewish but I follow your page and I pray everyday for peace 🙏. I'm from NJ and am happy that you felt good here. My heart breaks with everything that is happening. Unbelievable what is happening in our world and country. Stay safe and just do what you need to do.
Praying for all
You are in our prayers, Chana. Hate can not win. Much love, Rissy ❤️
I'm so sorry that there are people who are using this time to harass others. Thank You for sharing your heart. I Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Blessings! 💕
Standing with you in prayer x
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your time in NJ. I really take for granted how accessible things are in New Jersey like Kosher food being pretty much everywhere.
Its so good to see you and I can't thank you enough for being you and sharing your life with us. Right before the war broke out, I signed up for a class at a local synagogue to learn more about Judaism. I am learning so much. I went to my first Shabbat service this weekend and felt incredibly welcomed. Its thanks to UA-camrs like you that really helped inspire me. I took your (I believe it was your) book suggestion of Living a Jewish Life By Anita Diamant. It really opened my eyes. I started reading more books like a child eating PBJ sandwiches. Just thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Channa,
I am praying for all those innocent individuals and their friends and families in the Middle East and that God will touch everyone's heart with whatever they need to be a peace.
I stand with Israel 💙
It is so good to hear/see what was normal for you and your Family just a short time ago, celebrating the Holidays, celebrating family events, caring for children, Date night, grocery shopping. Oh, what joy just a few days ago. I am thankful that you filmed all that and are sharing it with us. I pray for the Israeli Defence Forces, for the Government, for wisdom in decision making. May the Lord keep watch over His People.
Prayers and love to all - please be safe - there are some horrible people on this earth!🙏😃💗
Sending love and prayers
We are Catholic and there is not a day that we do not pray for Israel. We are standing strong with you all. We make sure we are not silent about the horrible things that are happening to Israel.
Looks like you all had a good sukkot!! Continuing to pray for Israel. ❤
Your family is in my prayers. Israel is always in my prayers, but especially right now.
Praying…. Thank you for sharing about your family’s trip to New Jersey to celebrate the High Holidays with your extended family. I agree with you. I think that visiting grocery stores in different parts of the United States and in different foreign countries is fascinating.
Chana, thanks for sharing this footage with us. So wonderful you could be with family! My work has a Jewish Employee Network and one day during Sukkot, there was Sukkot "lunch and learn." I was worried I would be the only non-Jew there, but was heartened to see many others who weren't Jewish there to learn! The sukkah was overflowing!!! I already knew a bit about Sukkot from your videos, but I learned about the 4 kinds/ 4 types of Jews from the Rabbi who came. I sorry to hear that there has been anti-semitism here in DFW. Know that there are just as many here who love and support you and genuinely want to learn more. I am praying for Israel. 💗
