- Jeff Meyer is the first survivor you ever find in Dead Rising, naturally it was his time to shine. This is Jeff Rising.
The goal is simple, we will take Jeff through the entire main story of Dead Rising so he can get in on the action. During the challenge we need to use some modding shenanigans to break it since Isabela is anti Jeff and will prevent him from advancing 8-2. As a result we get some strange interactions.

Jeff could have single handedly saved all of Willamette in under an hour. He just chose not to as it would be an unfair fight, and he could not deprive his new friend Frank the chance to grow stronger and get the scoop of the century. What a great guy!

It took me until this video to realize the irony of Carlito, a man who's home was ravanged by zombies due to experiments made on cattle to produce more meat for americans and who wanted to enact revenge on said people for what they've done, to die in a meat locker.

This wasn't a terrible decision. This is a decision of Champions.
I haven't seen the video yet and I will see the video all the way though. But unless you found a way to get jeff passed the Isabella escort, I'm saying no. I actually did this kind of playthough escorting Leah the woman who was crying about her dead daughter because I saw a challenge run of dead rising 2 off the record, where someone escorted a survivor all the way though even to overtime mode and beat TK with that survivor with them. Anyways I tried this but I couldn't get pass the mission with Isabella escort because she doesn't let you bring survivors with her which I had no idea.
Also off topic but I unintentionally got Frank the pimp from that playthough which that wasn't my intention.
So it naturally caps then, I messed with Cheat Engine to bypass Isabela’s requirement. It took a LOT of tinkering to find a setup that got Jeff into Overtime.

I love your content! but would you ever do this again with someone else? I feel you're too good at the game and Jeff is one of the best survivors. Trying this with someone like Janet, Jolie or Sophie would be interesting to see (spawning them in early of course) or maybe even a chick who can hold a weapon like Tonya, Kay or Heather.

In the remaster you will he able to escort every survivor at once. EVERY ONE!!! can you imagine how insane it would be to give all of them shot guns? I think they would overwhelm the zombies or just shoot eachother to death.

In DR1, military does not see Jeff. If you were to play Dead Rising 2 and bring Lenny and Snowflake to Roy's Mart, the looters also will not see Lenny and Snowflake. So you can have Chuck to climb on the table to stand next to Denyce while Snowflake keeps attacking the looters from behind. Same thing will happen in DR2 Off The Record. If Frank brings Lenny and Snowflake to Roy's Mart, looters will ignore Lenny and Snowflake. So while the looters have their eyes on Frank, Snowflake will just keep hitting the looters from behind.
The military respects Jeff too much
@@Ecdycis So it turned out Kendall was right. When Kendall was about to create a mutiny, Kendall even suggested hot wiring a car. Frank would say do you think the military is going to let you do that once they spot you? So Frank would say to Kendall if the helicopter do not come, then Kendall can decide what to do with the survivors. If the military were to ignore survivors and focus on Frank, that should of mean Kendall could of gotten away on hot wiring a car to get out of Willamette.
@@Ecdycis As for Ted. He will forget all about Lenny. As shown in the cutscene, Ted did attempt to feed Lenny to the tiger because Ted believes in feeding human flesh to his tiger and despise feeding steak. Ted views zombies as rotten meat. But once recruiting Lenny, Ted won't even remember Lenny. Ted won't even see Frank or Chuck bringing in fresh meat. So if Ted sees Frank, Ted sees Frank as fresh meat for Snowflake. If Ted sees Chuck, Ted sees Chuck as fresh meat to Snowflake. So if by travelling with Lenny, Ted sees Lenny as being invisible. Ted's way of seeing Lenny the 2nd time will go like who are you have we met. That would mean Ted thinks Lenny is already a zombie. Ted's memory is really too short.
Fully expected you to blame Brock for killing Jeff's wife and thats why he stuck around the whole time.

If you were to play Dead Rising 2, Lenny will only join Chuck only after Snowflake is tamed but there is no rules saying Ted needs to be killed before convincing Lenny to go to the control room to turn on the casinos at Yukatan. Lenny can join Chuck even when Ted is alive. When Lenny joins, Ted will not even see Lenny and Lenny will just watch and do nothing while Chuck and Ted fight. Weird that in a cutscene, Lenny did run from Ted. But once Lenny joins Chuck, Ted had already have a short term memory about Lenny. Ted won't even remember that Lenny previously ran. Ted's mind on Lenny would already be like who are you? Have we met? Ted may be targeting Lenny in the cutscene but then will eventually lost his memories about Lenny.

Now the challenge I have for you is can escort all 8 survivors through all of dead rising? So ground rules is who you have as your 8 survivors, you don't take them to the safehouse. Challenge is to keep 8 survivors all the way to Ending A. So can you babysit all 8 survivors til the end? So pretty much your 8th survivor by default would have to be Greg. Besides, once Greg shows you a shortcut, you will be free to use it whenever you feel like it.
Survivors cannot normally go past 8-2. Survivors also are not fun but I do have some videos showing this
@@Ecdycis That is why it only goes up to 8. So far, you showed keeping 1 survivor throughout the whole game. Now the challenge is keeping only up to 8 survivors only. Don't need to worry about the 9th survivor.

It works well as a port
The mannequin torso is the second most powerful normal weapon in the game, can have its stamina tripled with books, and respawns every elevator ride.

My fav thing to do in dead rising 1 and 2 is get a full group following me and they all have guns!!!! Would love to see you Do a playthrough similar!!! Even parts of the game where u gotta rush a boss fight and make it back to them in time or they fir or u are forced to turn them in.
