- Originally I wasn't a huge fan of this concept since I figured you would only need to kill a few military units and the XP advantage would carry you through the game easily. I was immediately proven wrong.
This mod features every boss in Dead Rising from a New Game file, however the twist is we spawn in the military once we leave the prologue. The spawns are tied to their normal Overtime locations, the big twist is they spawn during EVERY boss fight and are present during these making some absolute hell.
Bonus the Helicopter is always active and they formed an alliance with the Convicts.

@@Robabank2034 Here is what else that happened in OTR. Frank West also did go out on a date with Jessica. Then when it comes to playing Poker, Frank and Jessica had forgotten about their time together. They looked at each other like they were strangers. Almost like their memories were wiped out.

The US govt in this scenario was trying to cover it up so it makes sense for them to go for the pesky journalist

Originally, Carlito would be blaming the American government for infecting his home country but with military active, it looks more like Carlito and most of the psychopaths must of had signed the contracts with the military government where they team up to go after Frank West. Carlito in this boss fight seems to have a different personality because this time, Carlito sides with the American government military soldiers. Even for Isabella, she blames the American government for what they did to her hometown but teams up with the American government during the boss fight.
They got a sweet deal out of it

I have no idea if its possible, but a mod that has a swarm of Carlito 3's in the rest of the mall might be hilarious. Just an endless wave of Angry Trucker Carlitos hunting you down

This is an interesting challenge. I honestly wanted to see something like this being able to spawn the military. Imagine getting 7 day Survivor with the special forces spawning.

It's a very open game
So you modded yours where the military comes to Willemette early in the game. If I had that modded version, I would take advantage of doing the challenge of saving all survivors. Not saying saving all survivors will be easy with military active early in the game but still be willing to accept the challenge of saving all survivors. The reason being is part of having the military active early in the game means you get to take their guns as a freeby. That could of been convenient to arm each survivors with the machine guns taken from those military. If they entered the safe house with that gun, that can easily be replaced by killing another military soldier for that gun. I know I normally give survivors shotguns or submachine guns only because I wanted them to defend themselves from hordes of zombies. Having the military active this early means their guns are free to take.

If your goal is just to play this to survive and not worry about survivors, all you needed is a skateboard to outrun the military more often. I had set challenges for myself on beating Dead Rising without killing the military. I wanted them alive because I had funny plans for them. I would lock them up using the doors. If I lock myself in a gun shop, the zombies can smack the military on the back and the military does nothing and at the same time, the military cannot be killed by zombies. You don't have to do these silly things like I did but after seeing your playthrough, your skateboard is your key survival so that way you get game over less often. Skateboard can also knockout the military just not kill. The more you use your skateboard, you will already know how fast your skateboard is. You don't need to kill them to clear paths knowing that they will move slow. However, during the boss fight, then you may kill the military since they team up with psychopath to take you down. Even if the psychopath kill the military by accident, they still don't chase the psychopath for pay back. Just like Cliff had accidentally killed one of the military and some of the military accidentally hit Cliff when trying to shoot you.
The big difficulty for this challenge was having military during boss fights that are already tough on New Game
One suggestion to add thats similar, Permanent Culitsts or Permanent Military AND Cultists
So the mod tool couldn’t get it working exactly

Honestly I'm kinda upset there wasn't more enemy infighting in DR1. I'm a big fan of enemy infighting or multiple enemy factions which oppose eachother in games in general and later DR titles do it well but DR1 never has it much. The most you'll ever see is psychopaths and SF marines getting attacked by zombies but even the strongest zombie isn't really a threat to them and they are laser focused on Frank most of the time. So seeing that psychopaths and SF will battle eachother would have been kinda cool.

44:27. Wow! Those military lets you have a time out before resuming the fight. Those military went like wait wait, lets give him a fair fight. That is just like Final Fantasy 6. In Final Fantasy 6, The Imperial Soldiers went like lets give them a chance to finish the conversation before continuing to fight them. Kind of funny that they don;t cash in for cheap shots. They actually let you have a time out during that fight. They went like lets give him a chance to finish eating.

Hello Ecdycis. Would you consider infinity Mode?, however with military spawns, AND/OR cultists and hardcore speedy zombies, rules are you cant stand in one place and have to actively move around the map to different sections, to survive. Make up a list of rules of acquired items, on the run.
From each part of the map. While trying to not starve to death, kill survivors and psychos and live to tell the tale.
Waiting for 14 hours is not fun

Adam is resistant to damage unless stunned. To stun him, you have to wait until he starts blowing a red balloon, then you shoot it. You should also use survivors to help you fight bosses. You can give them assault riffles.
I am very aware of how to deal with Adam, the special forces gun is not something you'd normally fight him with. Both Melee weapons and the 50 cal from the convicts make good work of Adam. Weirdly enough some attacks will actually break his armor and I'm not sure why like spitting

The main issue is the lack of accuracy with it, while possible you are more likely going to lose necessary ammo

I got a custom version of the mod made from Pokisal in the Dead Rising Speedrun community
If the military were active early in the game, I would of test out the theory to see is it possible for the military to kill any psychopaths by accident. I remember when I fought Carl in Dead Rising 2 Off The Record, that psychopath Carl was accidentally killed by one of the looters. I had 1 looter grabbing me when I was after Carl. Then Carl threw 1 bomb where that explosion forces 1 looter to let go of me. Then that other looter threw a fire at me but it also hit Carl at the same time. I went like ok? The looter stole my kill and I still gain experience points. If I have military active, I would like to see is it possible for the military to accidentally kill any psychopaths.
Dead Rising 1 has a rule where Frank MUST deal the final blow. DR2 does not have this rule
@@Ecdycis Good to know because I did remember the time when I went to the restaurant to pick up a steak, Ted was already killed by a zombie. Ted did turn out to be slow. Zombies did steal my kill. In DR2 OTR, only 1 psychopath can be killed by zombies while the rest cannot. After Ted die, I went like never mind, now I can focus on Snowflake.

To answer your question. Yes, there is cheese in this game. I don't know exactly where it spawns, but I know there is as some of the survivors in Infinite Mode drop it as the reward.
Apparently it is exclusive to the market normally
